• Staff was extremely helpful and the accommodations were more than adequate.
• Parking lots were not cleared very well of fallen snow.

“The hotel is well worth the money for the accommodation. It is about a 15 minute ride to the airport and the hotel has its own shuttle that runs on a schedule leaving the hotel every half hour. The restaurant has good quality food and service is reasonable. The friendliness of the restaurant staff overcame the lack of service.”

• It was very clean, easy to get too, and the staff was all very friendly.
• Our room was right across from the elevators so all night we could hear the elevators coming in.

• Hallway carpets worn and dirty on some floors.

“Hotel has efficient airport shuttle every 20 minutes. Check-in was very friendly. Asked for Marriott reward card which I forgot at home. Beds were very comfortable. Airplanes fly right over top but noise was minimal. Loved the bath amenities, wonderful scented products. Looks like rooms have been recently renovated but the hallways need carpet replaced.”

• Nice hotel, nice facilities, very good staff.
• Shuttle service was awfully slow; we froze in the cold waiting for the shuttle at the airport.

The sad fact is that the other hotels' shuttle had been in and out for at least 4 times before this hotel shuttle was there! Too bad. It's a good hotel and it has great friendly staff. If they can do something with their shuttle service at least from the airport, especially in cold winter season.”

• Excellent Pool and Fitness Facility.
• Had to pay extra in order to park in hotel parking lot and it is right in the flight path for Toronto Airport.

“Very Close to Toronto Airport and other major attraction, this hotel offers clean comfortable rooms, a spacious pool and hot tub, and helpful and courteous staff. You can dine in house at the Olio Restaurant or take a short walk to a variety of other eating establishments.”

• Fantastic pool, nice rooms, free LAN :), lots of air traffic (you decide on that).
• Parking fee.

“High quality, thoughtful amenities, nicely decorated and landscaped. The pool area is enclosed by a glass cathedral calling and you can watch planes landing @ YYZ all night.”

• The price was good for the hotel quality; I wouldn't have wanted to pay their regular rates.
• Not at all a "luxury" 4 star hotels, nice, clean, but nothing extra, 3 star at best.

“Clean, comfortable, great airport location. Many dining options nearby. However, this was supposed to be a "4 star" deluxe hotel, which it is not.”

• The cleanliness, the hotel room was spacious; the lobby was beautiful, quite and relaxing.
• There was no one at the front desk when I was checking it; she came after about 5 minutes.

“I definitely would recommend this hotel for any one that wants to feel that relaxing vibe. The beds were comfortable, the people were kind a quite area. I felt right at home. The large selection of restaurants in the surrounding area was very convenient.”

• Room was quiet; you could see the planes but not hear them! Fluffy towels, clean room and free internet.
• The front desk young man's attitude when I checked in. Didn't like the charge for parking.

“Wonderful location, we were attending a show at the international centre. The hotel is comfortable, clean and the towels are nice & fluffy! I understand the need to charge for parking however I think it should be included in the room rate. Overall, this is a good spot to stay and I would recommend it to both business guests and leisure travelers.”

• $14 (Canadian) per night fee for parking.

“View from our 7th floor room was very nice. Beds were comfortable, hotel was generally quiet. No loud running water noises, and in spite of it being on the Toronto airport landing path, no outrageous airport noise. Room smallish but nice, shower good, complimentary soap not over-scented, no bathroom fan to un-steam mirror. Convenient location right next to an Outback restaurant. All in all, a pleasant experience I wouldn't hesitate to repeat.”

“The fresh orchids in the foyer and restaurant were a welcome sight. The convenience of a shuttle to the airport was so handy. The hotel itself was tastefully decorated, and the staff quite friendly.”

• Frequent courtesy shuttle to the airport.
• On the approach/departure path to airport making it quite noisy before midnight and starting at 6:00 a.m.

“Very nice hotel with all the facilities you will need including fitness and business centre. Airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes making access to airport very convenient. Unfortunately, the hotel is directly on the approach to one of the runways, so depending on the winds you may find it quite noisy early in the morning.”

• I would have proffered to give breakfast included. Also, a small frig. In the room would have been more convenient.

• It was very convenient to where we needed to go.
• The fire alarm went off at 6:00 am on both days we stayed there.

“We loved the hotel, but didn't appreciate the fire alarm going off at 6:00 am in the morning. In addition, to the alarm going off for approximately 20 minutes there was the constant announcement over the loud speaker. This was extremely annoying.”

• The manager desk was very accommodating to my parents' needs.
• The front desk employees were not so accommodating.

“This is a very classy hotel. My parents really liked it. It was very comfortable and clean. The only problem that they came across was that they were assigned a handicap room initially, which was an inconvenience. Then, I called the front desk manager and he switched my parents' room to a non-handicap one. He was very accommodating and nice about it. I appreciate all his help. He made my parents stay a lot nicer!”

• Restaurant food was good.
• Restaurant expensive, sheets not clean, carpets grungy, front desk staff not the greatest.

“I was disappointed with the hotel for what the star level was. The bed sheets were not very clean, and I had to request an alternate room, which wasn't any better. The front desk staff did not seem to know much. The prices in the hotel restaurant were very overpriced (an entree dinner for 1 cost 50 dollars). The restaurant staff was very polite and helpful. I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Also, the free shuttle service to the airport runs once every 30 minutes, which is not very efficient given that the airport is 5 minutes away.”

• The beds are nice, the only trait that this is a Marriott chain.
• This hotel is the poor cousin of the Marriott.

“There is no fridge in the rooms that have 2 queen beds, also you have to go into the lobby (where guests are arriving) to access the pool, fitness room and the hot tub. Good sleep however, you have control of your room temperature which is nice.”

• The fitness room was one of the best Ive seen, with a nice pool.
• The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable.

“The staff was fantastic, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was excellent. Really enjoyed the fitness room/pool area. The bed is the only thing I can complain about - it was on the hard side and slightly uncomfortable. Overall, my stay at the hotel was excellent!”

“Service at Brunch was poor. Rarely saw waitress. Asked for ketchup and was told it was on buffet. Asked at buffet and told waitress would bring it. It did arrive after I had eaten. Service at best would be described as indifferent.”

• Coffee outlet did not work; drain in tub did not work.

“Overall not bad, but not great - a few things as noted such as tub virtually did not drain at all, coffee pot outlet did not work, iron in poor condition, no newspaper at our room in a.m. (although other rooms had them), surprised at parking fee for hotel guests ($14) for airport location and plenty of parking available (also no choice above for selection - but business traveler traveling with spouse).”

• Close to airport and waking distance to restaurants.
• Airport shuttle didn't arrive despite calling ahead to the hotel to warn them we would be coming in late. Breakfast buffet was skimpy but pricey.

• Swimming pool, quiet room, fluffy duvets on beds.
• Had to use staircase to get to room, not enough towels.

“I was traveling with a 2 year-old child. My room was on the third floor and at the end of a hall, which was irritating. Had to lug up luggage 3 times up and down the stairs. I believe that when a customer comes in with a child/children, they should be put on the first floor, as a courtesy.”
