“Well this hotel looks really nice outside and the lobby. The room is super old, with dirty carpet and super old covers on the bed. Yes they do have a nice sofa and a super old TV in front of that. What really made me upset, they didn't have internet and had nervous to give me the room. Because I stayed only one day I didn't find it a good deal. I will try never to stay at this hotel again. It's not like Intercontinental or Sheraton or Hilton etc. that go extra mile.” Dec 9, 2009 by
Joanna from Thunder Bay,Canada
“Busy bustling and energetic with lots of helpful and friendly staff. Hotel rooms were clean and presentable and it appeared as though some rooms were being upgraded. Centrally located to lots of shopping, attractions and restaurants.” Dec 9, 2009 by
Amanda from Brampton,Canada
“It's nice, but it isn't 4 star. the location is great, its walking distance to the Eaton's center, which is perfect. The parking lot was full, which was an inconvenience because I had to park outside across the street, for more than it would have cost me to park at the hotel. its a busy hotel, due to it being so large, so its not the best one to stay at if you're wanting to be somewhere quiet.” Dec 7, 2009 by
Gaets from Welland,Canada
“The hotel services, staff, public spaces and the Market restaurant were all great and deserved the 3.5 star rating. The room itself was on the 9th floor and had beautiful accommodations but the carpet was worn and stained. The bathroom was clean but was due for a renovation. The heater cover in the bathroom was rusted and didn't fit properly plus the bath tub was well worn and looked stained. The room would have to be a 2.5 star rating.” Nov 28, 2009 by
Paola from Frisco,TX
“Great location, nice staff, friendly and willing to help, was not pleased with the condition of bathroom and carpets.” Nov 25, 2009 by
Mary from Windsor,Canada
“The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. Front desk was great. Location perfect. Large hotel, but perfect for our friends get-a-way. Thank you!” Nov 19, 2009 by
John from Niagara Falls,Canada

“Excellent except for the unexpected room size. We were expecting two beds.” Nov 2, 2009 by
Linda from Kaleden,Canada
“For the price that I paid through Priceline, this was a good deal. Had several dining options in the lobby. Staff were helpful. Gym was great. Would have liked a small fridge.” Oct 28, 2009 by
Cheryl from Dundas,Canada
“Great hotel, recently renovated Oct 21, 2009 by

“The room needs upgrading. The bathroom has the original fixtures. The water from the sink dripped and was too hard to turn off. The carpet was stained and torn, the original wall paper was drab.” Oct 21, 2009 by
Rachelle from Barrie,Canada
“Overall I feel that the hotel was Average - NOT a 4 star. We were in the old part of the hotel and could tell that it used to be a smoking hall, bad smell still.” Oct 19, 2009 by
Rob from Ringoes,NJ
“Located in a quasi-marginal part of town. Hotel is under renovation. Definitely not a 3.5 star hotel.” Oct 19, 2009 by
John from Ottawa,Canada
“Pleasant rooms with a view, friendly place, free wireless in lobby.” Oct 15, 2009 by

“On a trip to visit family over the Thanks-giving weekend, several members of my family stayed at this hotel. My mother and I stayed in one room on the 26th floors, while other family members stayed in other rooms on lower floors. While the location is convenient, and the staff generally is friendly, we were deeply unimpressed by the rooms. In addition to having our toilet overflow for no clear reason one morning just as we were preparing to go out for the day, we saw cockroaches twice during our four night stay: once in the closet where I was keeping my clothes, and once in the bathroom. From the size, shape and movement of the bugs, there is no question at all that they were roaches, and not some other kind of beetle. My mother and I chose to stay in the room rather than upset our other relatives who were staying there, and included a family with young children that would have had a hard time moving to another hotel. My mother did quietly alert a manager to the problem on the morning we checked out of the hotel, but in a follow-up phone call, the manager told us that their staff was not able to find any bugs, and did not sound like she had any intention of fumigating or otherwise dealing with the apparent infestation. My mother and I have both stayed in many hotels and hostels, and neither of us has ever seen a cockroach before. So, while the Delta may have a convenient location, unless you're fine with the idea of living with roaches, and potentially bringing some home with you in your luggage, I would suggest finding a different hotel for your stay in Toronto. I, for one, will never stay at the Delta again.” Oct 15, 2009 by
Sally from Markham,Canada
“Although we were told that we were being upgraded to one of the newly renovated rooms, it did not look much like a renovated room. It was plain. The TV was the smallest we'd seen in a hotel room and was not pleasant to watch a movie on.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Patti from Sault Ste Marie,Canada
“I am very happy with this hotel, it has everything we need for visiting a hospital often, quietness, great food and quality staff.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Dawn from Vancouver,Canada
“The hotel is attractive. The room was very well appointed with a decent view of downtown. Every amenity was at the hotel. We didn't venture far from the hotel because it was very comfortable.” Oct 7, 2009 by
Don from Toronto,Canada
“The Delta Chelsea is a very large hotel with a comfortable rooms.” Oct 6, 2009 by
Art from Lethbridge,Canada
“No high speed internet in room, broken toilet seat and chipped basin in bathroom. Grubby carpet.” Sep 29, 2009 by
Shay from Mississauga,Canada
“This hotel is perfect for the business traveler, who wants just a convenient, clean and reliable place to sleep at night. Slightly lacking in ambiance and overall luxury and comfort. It's a no frills place, and quite decent in fact, but definitely not a 3.5 star upscale luxury hotel. The location however is excellent, the staff are friendly. Our coffee maker was not working and they got us another one. The housekeeping staff however, rudely woke me up twice by banging on my door first at 8:30 in the morning, and then at 9:30, and rudely proceeded to ask me when I was going to be checking out. I understand that the hotel was fully booked and rooms need to be cleaned, but that was quite rude, and not appreciated. Other than that, I would stay here again, if my main purpose was a clean bed to sleep in at night, which in this location, it should be.” Sep 29, 2009 by
Mike from East Lansing,MI
“Will not recommend it to anyone.” Sep 23, 2009 by
Derek from Markham,Canada
“This hotel is very comfortable but make sure you get the renovated section and higher floors. The best location in Toronto. Even the Thursday night Jazz band was good.” Sep 20, 2009 by
Sue from Penfield,NY
“This is a second visit where I have been disappointed with this hotel given its star rating and regular room price.” Sep 17, 2009 by
Trina from St. Agatha,Canada
“For a family, the hotel offers a variety of in-house activities. It is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Parking and Internet is expensive but available.” Sep 16, 2009 by
Colin from Newmarket,Canada
“Would not recommend unless you get the renovated section of the hotel. The old section is very outdated and rundown. I would recommend a motel or hostel over the room I stayed in.” Sep 11, 2009 by
Karen from Wallaceb Urg,Canada
“The Delta Chelsea is definitely a hotel I anticipate staying at in the future. With all the amenities it has to offer for children I would some time like to take the children and grandchildren there as well.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Denise from Castorland,NY
“The Delta Chelsea is a hotel for everyone. It has a pool for kids with a water slide and also a pool for adults only. Has its own parking garage so u don't have to worry about your vehicle. Great place to stay. I recommend it to everyone.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Andrew from Ottawa,Canada
“Hotel is very large with close to 1500 rooms. The staff is very friendly. The elevators location can be confusing as not all elevators serve all the floors.” Sep 8, 2009 by
Tracie from Burlington,Canada
“I paid $20.00 extra for an upgraded room directly to the hotel. Not worth the $20.00. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, bathroom needed upgrading.” Sep 8, 2009 by
Kerrie from Courtice,Canada
“Hotel seemed clean except for the carpet in the room. You could see dingy stains as soon as you opened the door. Need to be shampooed.” Sep 3, 2009 by
Chris from Sarnia,Canada
“Overall hotel is more than we expected for a 3.5 star. Food was decent room was good. The downfall about the hotel is their parking, they had no idea how many cars are going in and out. I paid to park their we went out for supper and came back and parking lot was full. Like hello!! don't they do counts on parking availability?” Sep 3, 2009 by
Fred from Montreal,Canada

“Located in the downtown section of Toronto, this hotel is a busy place with a rather cramped lobby. The staff is great and looking to help out the guest. Parking is $26 per night.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Ana from Toronto,Canada
“excellent location, friendly staff, very nice and familiar ambiance.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Mike from Manchester,NH
“The delta chelsea has a lot to work on for the lower end rooms. The beds are comfortable and the location is convenient. The rooms do not have small refrigerators, nor access to wireless internet, (although you can go down to the main lobby and use the wifi about 6 floors below where I was staying) and the grill style restaurant serves quite bland food that is quite expensive for the quality. I would not recommend eating here. Overall for the price of the room and its location I would recommend, but I do not think it is a 3.5 star hotel.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Rose from Stirling,Canada
“Front desk manager should do something to help us. I wasn't screaming about it and I guess I should of. Was not impressed with her attitude.” Aug 26, 2009 by
Adrianne from Whitby,Canada
“Hotel was great except when it came time to check out. The hotel was very busy, an employee was coming around to the check out line to speed up the process. I was completely overlooked she went to the person in front of me, then to the person behind me and skipped me all together. I was not impressed with her customer service skills.” Aug 26, 2009 by
terry from New York,NY
“This hotel was a major disappointment. First, upon entering the hotel it is a dark and dingy with somber lighting. I should have known that after the front desk clerk asked me if I wanted "upgrade" my room to a newly renovated room, that I was in for trouble. I was hoping that the room would make up for this initial impressions.Pros: Central Location located near Yonge Street and Queens Street and rooms have a Balcony with view of the cityCLications:The room: Musty smelllingFlooring: soiled, water stained old carpetFurniture: Dated, scratched wood dressers tablesBedding: Old, threadbare sheetsBathroom/Shower: old with "old-fashioned" tub/sink dirty stoppers attatched to rusted chainsChairs: ripped and stained fabricBalcony: peeling and rusted paint...so disgusting didn't want to sit and enjoy the viewPoor Maid ServiceOverall, the room was a bit of disappointment and instead of an upscale hotel felt more like a budget 2-star hotel.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Bob from Vancouver,Canada
“The hotel was a bit dated. The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were not all that helpful, but the housekeeping staff were extremely friendly.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Cheryl from Peterborough,Canada
“Great place had not stayed here in years, but was not disappointed at all, had a great weekend in the city.” Aug 17, 2009 by
Paul from New Haven,CT

“The hotel has a good sized room that was clean and tidy. It was nice to have a balcony to stand on and veiw the city. The staff was freindly. Could have used fuller pillows.” Jul 27, 2009 by
Don from Ithaca,NY
“Priceline needs to be more careful about its star levels. Jul 26, 2009 by
Laura from Parry Sound,Canada
“This appears to be a 3 and half star hotel in the public areas but the room offered to us was very tired and worn. The carpet was lifting and was threadbare in spots. The night tables were chipped. There was a small table but no chairs. The blanket was stained and had to be replaced. Our remote was not working and had to be replaced. The queen mattress had seen much better days.” Jul 25, 2009 by
Stefanie from Fairport,NY
“Very comfortable and clean. One block from subway. Parking too expensive. Central location.” Jul 25, 2009 by
Sharon from Point Edward,Canada
