Debra from Cincinnati,OH
“I had to stay there for at least 5 business days, and each day that remains is a bitter reminder that this is the beginning and end of not only Days Inn experience but also for not letting someone who books this hotel know about this rip off policy.” Oct 6, 2009 by
Sheena from Kingston,Canada
“Very nice, clean and quiet hotel in general. Good place if you are not speaking any time in the room other than sleeping. Very tiny room, but didn't expect it to be big for downtown Toronto next to Maple Leaf Gardens.” Feb 12, 2009 by
Rebeka from Ottawa,Canada
“It's all you really need in a hotel. I was able to walk everywhere in Toronto from my hotel. The restaurant attached is fabulous and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the brunch too. The Carlton Cinemas are closely located.” Jan 4, 2009 by
Michele from Tweed,Canada
“Very nice hotel located in prime location in downtown Toronto. Close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms Very clean and comfortable beds. The rooms are not overly spacious. The underground parking does not accomodate larger trucks.” Nov 4, 2008 by
Jamie
“This hotel was located in a good area, not recommended for people who like extravagant hotels.

“We found the hotel be more than satisfactory and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.” Aug 28, 2008 by
MFN from Montreal
“The location is the best and it's prices are reasonable comparing to other hotels. The internet connection is mostly down and when it is functioning it is very small. I won't recommend this hotel to businessmen or to whoever needs to keep in touch online.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Evan from Modesto, CA
“The hotel needs a lots of improvement on there staff and how to treat there customers. I had called them from my room more than once and most of the times they put me on hold forever.” Jul 4, 2008 by
Robert from Buffalo, NY
“The parking ramp was full, no parking provided and ended up getting my car towed because there was nowhere to park as a result. Also, upon entering the room, it was evident that the air conditioning was not working. I phoned the front desk and they sent a maintenance person up after about a half hour. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes on top of that while I sat there and watched him work, causing me to be later for my dinner with friends.” May 31, 2008 by
Jules C. from Thunder Bay, ON CA
“Discourteous, shifty, unbelievably rude management. Mis-used my credit card until the fraud department put a hold on it. Threw us out in the middle of the night, in need of medical attention. Simply the most outrageous breach I've ever been subject to. Although I seldom use it, the fact is that I have an International profile and am usually afforded some extra degree of courtesy. They have inspired a national contest amongst 3.84 million of my readers called Travel Nightmares, that will launch in October with national sponsorship from Marriott's competition. Let me tell you. I will absolutely be naming names when I tell this story. I have 3.84 million readers in Canada and another 8 million in the USA. I guess I should be glad I'll have another story to tell on my new talk show. But, honestly. I'm not. I wish I'd never set foot in the Marriott Residence Inn Downtown Toronto Theatre District.” May 25, 2008 by
Ashley from Waterloo, ON CA
“The hotel met my expectations. It was conveniently located. It was really hard to find it on the street when we drove by. I was extremely disappointed with the cost of two extra people staying in the room. There should be no cost since the rooms do sleep four people and we could have been dishonest and snuck people in.” May 20, 2008 by
Sam from London, ON CA
“Great for a simple overnight stay in TO!” Nov 12, 2007 by
Stan from Barrie, ON CA
“Several noisy, drunk, inconsiderate young people as guests. Hotel did not respond to noise concerns promptly. Room miniscule.” Oct 27, 2007 by
Terra from Toronto, ON CA
“Excellent hotel for a short term stay. Clean, efficient, and very organized.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Raymond from North Andover, MA
“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel except for the fact that the room was too small and the fridge was too small. Also there is no microwave. When we travel with our 2 teen boys we look to save money on food and food in Toronto is quite pricey. We like to make things ourselves in the room and we could not. Days inn in naira was much roomier and the fridge was larger.” Jun 26, 2007 by
Sophia from Sault Ste Marie, ON CA
“The hotel is very nice, in the center of Toronto. It's very accessible to the subway, bus, via rail, and gestation.” Jun 24, 2007 by
Jim from Watertown, NY
“Many of the tourist attractions are a lengthy walk away. It's located off a part of Younger Street that's somewhat seedy. The rooms were small, and amenities are Spartan.” May 9, 2007 by
Eric from Willingboro, NJ
“The hotel management didn't turn on the a/c; the room was much too warm. I woke up sweating. Window in the room didn't open wide enough for fresh air. There are four elevators, three were working. Only one elevator went to the parking garage. None of the staff had any answers when things don't work. Computer system down during check out. Wifi only works in the lobby.” Apr 18, 2007 by
Preston from New York, NY
“Great location and staff, couldn't ask for a better value.” Oct 28, 2006 by
Valerie from Palmyra, NY
“The hotel staff was very friendly and let me check in early around noon. We got up to the room and it was so tiny! The walls were a very ugly yellow in big diamond patterns. I felt like I stepped back in time. Although the bed was very comfortable. Our window had a little ledge which looked as if birds lived there. There were feathers and bird dropping all over the window. Halls were dirty and smelled. Parking was expensive which they did not tell me until I checked out (thought parking was free). Good location though and we were only in the room for about 10 hours sleeping so really it wasn't that bad.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 13, 2006 by

“Very basic accommodation.” May 11, 2006 by
Bre from Aurora
“Location is excellent. They would wash the underground parking with a huge hose, getting our car wet and dirty from the dirt on the ground being sprayed. The hotel itself is clean, cozy for a nights stay.” Apr 20, 2006 by
Randall from Binghamton, NY
“No hot water; moved room, again no hot water; moved again hot small room no A/C. Terrible stay.” Apr 6, 2006 by
Jim from Northampton, MA
“OK quality for a low price. Small room. View of adjacent apartment complex not appealing. Several times water was not hot for showers. Staff were quite friendly and the location was very good, right off the subway.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 22, 2006 by
Claude from Buffalo, NY
“Fairly conventional/new hotel in excellent downtown location, in terms of access to public transportation; on edge of gay community.” Jan 5, 2006 by
Matthew from Grand Rapids, MI
“This hotel seemed to thrive on restricting services that are a norm at most other hotels. An example : There is one packet of coffee in the room - extra packets are at a cost. Another example : No high speed Internet access in the rooms - even wireless. Very disappointed” Nov 5, 2005 by
Paulle from Grand Rapids, MI
“The Days Inn Toronto is a great location. Just off Younger Street downtown it is surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, a movie theater, pubs, sushi bars and internet cafes. This is our hotel of choice in the Toronto area for its convenience to public transportation, its proximity to downtown shopping, its friendly staff, and quiet rooms. And the beds are really comfortable! The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and serves great food. The coffee shop off the lobby provides wireless internet access and great chat.” 5 of 6 people found this review helpful.May 28, 2005 by
