• Good location and very nice lobby area. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.
• The indoor pool was not open and it was incredibly hard to park.

“Overall, we had a better than nice stay here. It wasn't perfect only because the indoor pool was not open, which we were very disappointed about, and the hotel parking was full upon arrival. Luckily, there was very inexpensive parking nearby, but we found this on our own. The lobby was beautiful, the hotel room was clean and extremely comfortable, and we had a spectacular view from our room. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

• The best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to everything. As well, you are connected to the underground city, great when there is bad weather.
• No mini bar, the towels were worn and they were a bit skimpy on the toiletries.

“Great hotel with great views of the city. You are connected to Toronto¿s underground city so even if you arrive in the dead of winter, you can still really enjoy many things. You are also connected to a department store called, the bay which is open as early as 8am, though none of the staff at the hotel knew anything about it. The hotel overall was great though the towels were not of good quality. It would have been nice to have slippers and a robe. And even though there was climate control, we could not get the room to heat up; our room was uncomfortably cool with -15c degree temperature outside.”

• Great location, on the Toronto path system so you don't have to walk outside.
• Hotel 800 number guaranteed a king bed, hotel would not honor this guarantee.

“The Sheraton centre is a very nice hotel with a great location. When the heater broke for our room, they sent up an eminence person quickly to fix it. The heater broke again at midnight, and the staff quickly moved us to a new room. Unfortunately, when I called the Sheraton 800 number, they guaranteed my reservation with a king bed in the room. ”

• No fridge or complimentary water bottles in room.

“Overall, a fantastic value for the price we paid! Great restaurant/bar on main level, really nice restaurant for dinner (le biftheque). Easy access to shopping underground. Sounds like it's a terrible hotel.”

• Excellent location, right beside Nathan Phillips square. Accommodating staff. Fabulous amenities.
• Parking is expensive.

“The Sheraton centre Toronto is in a wonderful location directly across the street from Nathan Phillips square, and one block from the subway and the Eaton¿s centre. Every staff member greets guests as they pass in the hallway. Views are magnificent. Amenities are abundant. An open air pool is marvelous when the temperature is 20 below, and the pool water is 90 degrees. Would definitely enjoy staying here again in the future.”

• Very convenient location - loved its connection to the path.
• Beautiful pools, but because the pool was indoor/outdoor, it was a bit dirty.

“Loved the hotel's downtown location and access to the path. Lobby and reception area beautiful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Room wasn't overly fancy, despite being a 4 star hotel. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.”

“Hotel was efficient, fast and friendly. Seems to captor to the business traveler. There were several conventions going on at the time of my stay but the stay was quiet and enjoyable still - hotel didn't turn into a party hub.”

• The staff went above and beyond to get the room that I requested.
• The server in the restaurant was very inattentive on Saturday.

“The hotel is very nice. The rooms are pleasant and beds are comfortable. When we arrived, it took a while, the staff worked diligently to get me a room with two double beds and non-smoking. my only complaint is with the restaurant and the server. The server took about 15 minutes to get our drinks then didn't come back for about 30 minutes after we had ordered to refill our drinks. I was very disappointed in the service, but the food was tasty. Very pricey for the food, a plate of Nachos was ca.”

• The bathroom felt cleaner than my bathroom at home.
• There should be more affordable parking nearby.

“The nicest hotel I have stayed in for the price. It was only a short walk from everywhere I wanted to go in Toronto and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The view (facing north) wasn't that spectacular, but that's hardly a reason not to stay here. Overall a fantastic hotel.”

• Highest quality in finishes, bedding, furniture, location, service. The most comfortable room. Almost everything was perfect!
• Room service pricing was ludicrous. Temperature of the room was a bit cold (72 degrees max).

“This hotel is amazingly comfortable and located in the heart of Toronto across the street from city hall. A+++ for the hotel & its friendly staff. A hotel rep bring me a space heater without me even asking because he know I felt that the maximum temperature reached in my room was a bit cold for me¿”

• Parking is awful in and around the hotel.

“This hotel is located in the heart of Toronto, and there is a dizzying array or restaurants, clubs, shops, public transportation, and attractions within walking distance. The rooms are a little small, internet access is more expensive than it should be, and parking in the area is a nightmare (and overpriced at the hotel). All in all, though, the hotel could not be in a better location, the rooms are nice enough, and the views are nice as well.”

• They seemed put off that we asked for an upgraded room when they found out we did it.com.

“This hotel was gorgeous, right in the middle of the heart of downtown Toronto, within walking distance of shopping, food, breakfast restaurants, amenities, etc. We loved the room and were extremely comfortable in their plush, soft beds with real down duvets and supportive, clean pillows. There was nothing about this hotel that made it ordinary. It is luxurious, and it made it affordable!”

• From the valet to the bellman to the room service delivery guy, no one even hinted at getting a tip! Nice change from the norm.
• Called for a bellman to help with my bags - lost my request and no one showed for 30 minutes.

• I would have preferred a king size bed. We received 2 double beds. Good with children though.

• This is one of my favorite hotels in Toronto. It is very well located. It happens to be just across the street from where I have business meetings.
• We had to wait 20-25 minutes for valet parking to bring up our car every day.

“This is a great hotel. One of the best in Toronto. The rooms are fresh and nicely decorated. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that when you use the valet parking it takes a long time (20-25 minutes) for it to come up. For a four star hotel this is unacceptable. The hotel lobby has a great feel to it. The trader¿s restaurant is not the greatest but it's ok. The hotel is located right downtown so this is very practical whether you're there on business or for leisure. It connects with the bay and the Eaton centre underground which is great if you want to go shopping. It is only a step away from yonge street. I would strongly recommend this hotel.”

• Hot tub closed for cleaning when at least 15 guests in pool area, should be cleaned when pool is closed to guests.

• The year round indoor/outdoor pool and the beds were super comfy.
• The hotel was very nice. You could tell that renovation was done but the bathroom tub did not drain and I felt that the washroom could have been cleaner.

“The hotel was very convenient to the Eaton centre. There was a Tim Horton¿s just outside the hotel where we got our breakfast watch morning. The pool was fun. It was neat to be swimming outside at night in the winter time. The beds were very comfortable. We had 2 great night sleeps. ”

• This newly remodeled hotel was sharp throughout!
• The valet parking, Canadian, a bit too expensive.

“This hotel was excellent! It is in a great part of town, centrally located and very well kept. There is a nice garden in the center, a beautiful indoor/outdoor pool and a health club. Below the hotel lobby there is access to the underground shopping district. Overall, a great find!”

• I liked the quick and easy check in and check out and the friendly staff.
• I thought the breakfast buffet was rather expensive so we ate elsewhere.

“I stayed in the hotel with four other friends. We like to do a girl¿s weekend once a year. This was the best one yet. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.”

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Toronto. Not only did we have a fantastic view of the city (25th floor facing south) but the hotel staff was very prompt at handling any requests. The area that the hotel is in also is a prime location for shopping and not far (only a few blocks) from younger street.”

• They give no service saying I booked the room using price-line which does not guarantee non-smoking room, one king bed, nicer location room etc.

“When we insisted, they gave us a room with only sofa-bed in it!! In short very disappointed with the experience, could have got far better holiday-inn express in regular rate clean and better than Sheraton center.”

“The hotel was very nice but I got the sense that we were limited room wise as customers to a certain part of the hotel Richmond tower. I asked for a king nonsmoking on a high floor and the clerk said as customers we were subject to whatever was available at the time of check-in. She then assigned us to a single double bed room (even though my husband is 6'4 and 300 lbs) on the 9th floor. Aside from that, the hotel was very nice.”

• Superb location in the centre of town close to shopping and restaurants.

“For the best experience in Toronto, stay at the Sheraton Centre. Steps away from shopping at Eaton Centre, public transportation by TTC subway or streetcar and with reasonable parking rates across the street at Toronto City Hall is a warm welcome to the biggest city in Canada. Staff is welcoming and nothing surpasses the Sheraton Comfort beds absolutely filled with pillows!”
