• The view from the Club Lounge.
• Free Wifi troubles.

“We arrived late (11:00 p.m.) and I had confirmed the reservation 24 hours prior to arrival for a Non-smoking King. When we arrived they had said all they had left was Smoking with 2 Double Beds. I told the front desk that this was unacceptable, then we were at the discretion of the hotel. I told him I would like to speak to a manager, he went and spoke to the manager and came back telling us that there was a handicap accessible room with a King bed but smoking. They offered to bring an ionizer to the room and also give us Club access for the 2 nights we were there and a $30 room service credit, in addition to switching rooms the next day. Those two offers were worth more then we had paid for the room itself. The next day after our massages they did move us from our 17th floor room to the 35th floor non-smoking Queen bed, but on the other side of the hotel without the view of the CN Tower, so I called down and they were happy to switch us to the good view side on the 34th floor. After all was said and done everything was great. The Wi-Fi at the hotel was having trouble connecting to the internet (could see and connect to the network, but could not connect to the internet). After a few seconds on the phone with the hotel tech support they had everything up and running.”

• Great location, great price, close to everything happening in the city.
• The bathroom was a little dated and really tight with the toilet basically an inch from the door.

“Good time, got there at 7 due to the traffic and there is close public parking since their lot was full, Went to Eaton Center, literally a minute away and even wanted to test out the skating rink that our room overlooked but every resident of Toronto was out there tearing it up, great time and nicer than two other places I have stayed in the past, try it out.”

• Downtown location, recently updated, full service.
• Should have free internet and better healthy food options for room service.

“The Sheraton is an excellent 4-star facility. Very cool indoor/outdoor pool and solid fitness facility put it a notch above many. And updated rooms are smart and attractive.”

• Rooms were very modern and had new equipment.

“At first I had a 2 bed room, but I called the hotel and they changed my to a king size bed, no questions asked. My check-in and check-out process straight forward and easy. My room had a view of the CN tower and it was magnificent.”

• The pool and hot tub area was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
• The only complaint is that parking was pricy.

• Location, landscaped public areas, underground access to Eaton centre. great view.
• Hear lock tower bell during the night, not for light sleepers, shower curtain still had hair clinging on the bottom, not pleasant.

“Staff was very friendly, gave us a room on the 28th floor. Parking at the Sheraton is only valet for 33$/day with in and out privileges. For an alternative during the weekend, there is the city hall parking for 6$/day without in and out privileges. overnight stay is then 12$. Room was spacious with king bed, had a wonderful view of the city facing almost directly the city hall and its skating rink. shower curtain had hairs lingering on the bottom, not very pleasant. on our last day, fire alarm went off at 9 in the morning, woke us up. So overall good stay expect for a few events.”

“Great hotel, very nice rooms. Friendly staff, great facilities at the hotel. The indoor outdoor pool and acres of gardens and waterfalls in Downtown Toronto make it very cool.”

• The room service and food was very good but expensive.

• Excellent indoor/outdoor swimming pool!
• Only had double beds, no queens. (King rooms were all full.)

“The location is excellent, you can access the Eaton Centre through the path without ever having to go outside. The parking at City Hall across the road on the weekends is quite cheap too. The indoor/outdoor pool had a lifeguard on duty, clean and well-equipped change rooms, and there was a hot tub too! Lots of fun to go swimming in the snow! Overall I give the hotel a big two thumbs up.”

• The location is perfect and the hotel is nice, though not regular room price nice.
• I had a dreadful experience at the hotel restaurant. We were treated terribly.

“If you are going to downtown Toronto, the Sheraton Centre is right in the heart of the city overlooking Nathan Phillips Square. The basic room is luxurious, though not large and the beds are exceptional. Close to shopping and night life. I don't recommend the hotel's Trader's restaurant. Go out in the city!”

• Horrible to get to, always busy, parking very expensive.

• The queen bed is kind of small for queen size.

“The location is perfect right in down town Toronto, and there is free internet access in the lobby. The room was clean but it was kind of small. We were given a room with a queen bed but I found it was small for a queen size bed. They used the smart heating system, so the temperature will drop to about 17 18 Celsius (yeah, it is cold for me : )) if you are not in the room. We stayed there during a snow storm in Toronto; the temperature was 20 Celsius outside so we had to pump up the heat every time we got in the room.”

• Bartender couldn't have been less welcoming if he tried.

“A very nice hotel located in the heart of the city steps away from shopping, dining and nightlife. Comfortable room, very clean and well appointed. Awesome bed. I'd take the mattress home if I could figure how to get it out the door. Kidding.”

• The location was outstanding; the view out our window was wonderful. Surrounded by shopping and restaurants.
• Signs that direct you to hotel parking are for valet parking only.

“Hotel is in the heart of downtown Toronto. It has an underground shopping mall and restaurants that are linked to the Eaton Center, The Hudson's Bay Company, other shopping and the subway. The room was clean and comfortable.”

• This was a great hotel in the center of the city and convenient to everything we wanted to visit.
• Our room was near the elevators and was a bit loud. Fire alarm also went off and instructions were unclear.

“Overall a wonderful stay. Lobby is very impressive and we had a wonderful room with a great view. The fire alarm was unavoidable, but instructions we received through the intercom system were unclear as to if we were to vacate the room or stand by in the room. Hotel bar/restaurant was better than average.”

• I love the location of this hotel, underground walkway to the shops.
• The front door is revolving the lobby was freezing all the time.

“The room was in the Richmond tower which does not have a great view but the room was great. The lobby has revolving doors which meant the freezing cold winds came rushing in you could not sit in the lobby without hat, coat and mitts to relax. The staff was friendly and this hotel is situated in a great spot in the winter; you can walk underground all the way to the Eaton centre.”

• The location, facilities and staff were great. The bed was comfortable and they had a desk I could use.
• The lack of a tub in the room, $2.00 local calls, $14.95 for 24hrs internet, these should be included @ 4 star hotel.

“Great location, facilities and staff, this hotel was suitable and comfortable accommodations for my business trip. A mall in the basement and across the street, downtown shopping and access to transit made my stay less of a chore. The food in the hotel was first class and there were several establishments in the immediate neighborhood that looked worth trying as well. The lack of a tub in the bathroom and the multitude of service charges - $2.00 local calls, and $14.95 for 24 hrs of internet (they did have free access in the lobby) were a bit of a nuisance. I would feel more welcome without the nickel and dime treatment but overall, a nice place to rest when far from home.”

• The staff was extremely polite and helpful.
• No fridges or eating space in the rooms; the rooms also extremely dry!

“The room itself is not luxurious, but the staff is extremely helpful and polite. There is no separate table to eat your room service meal at, nor a fridge to store water. The bedding was warm and downy, but the sheets were extremely scratchy. I had "rug burns" on my elbows from propping myself up to watch TV. The TV was a beautiful, new LG flat screen - great to watch movies on.”

• The plumbing had a problem that made it impossible to sleep loud hammering noise except when the water was running in the room.

“Great hotel but beware that the hotel is in a construction zone that makes it difficult to sleep and this room had a terrible hammering noise 24 hours a day related to air in the pipes. This grates on one's nerves.”

• You have to pay to use fitness centre! No fridge in room.

• Nothing not to like, except maybe air quality in room. Also the fact parking, although convenient, is not included in cost.

• The bed was dreamy, extremely comfortable just as they advertise!
• We were a little shocked by the prices for hotel meals, but we didn't eat there so not really a concern.

“The super courteous staff helps you to feel welcome upon your arrival and Ill admit I felt a little spoiled by the attention. (Oh so much fun!) Valet service was an added amenity we enjoyed and to have a taxi beckoned for our convenience gives a feeling of being treated like royalty. The room was very comfortable and the beds were so luxurious they aren't kidding when they advertise the most comfortable night's sleep. After returning from a concert it was nice to be able to relax and enjoy the view from the window, share some champagne, and off to sleep before work the next morning. It was an amazing night made all the more enjoyable by this wonderful hotel. I've already been recommending it to everyone absolutely wonderful!”

“Close to all downtown amenities. There is a shuttle to hotel from airport (Toronto). Only a 5 dollar cab ride to train station. Nice hotel. Very elegant. Good value for money.”

• Badly-lit, not enough electric sockets, no free wireless internet in rooms, or in lobby before check in and after checkout.

“The hotel is well-located in downtown Toronto. The public places (lobby, etc) have free wireless internet but only for those who are checked in at the time, not for those who have not yet checked in and for those who have already checked out. The room was clean (had two double beds instead of one king) badly-lit, there were not enough electric sockets, and no free high speed internet in the rooms. Free high speed wireless internet is essential for the business traveler.”

• Service and food quality at restaurant below Sheraton standards.

“On the plus side: well located, clean, spacious rooms and helpful staff. Easy access to financial institutions, public transportation (underground), good restaurants and shopping. The negatives: caters to tour groups, poor restaurant facility and understaffed and slow front desk. Overall, great value. Especially noteworthy during time of collapsing u.s. Dollar.”
