• The bed was extremely comfortable.

“When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that we were getting upgraded then we went into the room and it was dirty. The concierge said they would have someone clean it. We went to dinner and came back and it was still dirty. They had to move us twice after that to find a clean room.”

“This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Toronto. The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking onsite is valet only. Internet is not necessarily provided. Our room was small and had one double bed. The very nice LCD TV turned on but no channels were available.”

• It was conveniently located to everything in downtown Toronto! We walked everywhere!
• The pool/hot tub closed too early10 pm.

“We arrived in Toronto via the train on Thursday morning before noon and the hotel checked us into a room right away! Staff was very friendly! The hotel was very upfront letting us know when the cable was going to be out by leaving messages on the phone in our room! Impressive! Elegant lobby!”

“Hotel was great, unfortunately we had to upgrade our room to get a room with a bed for our son, so that was upsetting. Apparently they had nothing, we were under the understanding there would be no problem with getting a room. So this added to the cost of our weekend.”

• Close to everything I wanted Downtown.
• Internet was extra, fitness facility extra, nothing came included.

“Hotel was nice. The cleanliness was ok but not great. We had to pay to use the facilities like fitness center. We were given a room with a great view which was a plus, and the staff was great.”

“It was the worst hotel that I stayed in air conditioner was broken not fridge I told them I have babied with me and I need to keep their milk in a fridge the answer was sorry sir but fridges are only in our preferred gust rooms very bad customer service. Im very disappointed. VERY.”

“The room was tiny - just large enough for the double bed it contained - but adequate and attractive. The room lacked a refrigerator, and internet access cost an extra $15/day.”

• The tourist information desk did not tell us how long it took to get to places.

“Over all we enjoyed our stay. It was convenient and well located. We did ask the tourist information desk how to get to the Zoo. They explained how to get there by public transit which is what we wanted to take but what they did not inform us was how long it was going to take for us to get there. That was unacceptable. We were only in Toronto for 2 days and the Subway would have wasted 4 hours of our time. When giving directions they should inform you of how long it takes to get to places.”

• Excellent location, very boutique hotel, amazing interior.
• Expensive parking, difficult to get to during rush hour.

“It was a bit difficult to get to the hotel, but it was worth the trouble. The service was excellent, the room was lovely, the location was first rate. We had a few drinks in Traders and while they weren't cheap (what hotel bar is?), the bartender was wonderful and we had a marvelous time! This hotel was an amazing.”

• Friendly staff, beautiful hotel in center of downtown Toronto.
• I did not like all the tag on expenses and hidden cost for example a $9 fee to use the workout room, $14.95 per day to use the internet in the room.

“Overall the service was great. The hidden cost for use of the exercise room, telephone, parking ($40 per day) and the use of the internet in your room were shocking!”

• The room was nice and quiet.

“Overall, the experience at this hotel was fairly good. Upon checking, we (unluckily) got the front desk manager (who was helping with checking because there was a lineup) and I had requested a king bed. She said they only had rooms with two doubles left (I find this hard to believe as there are hundreds of rooms in this hotel and it was a Monday), and then the first option she gave us was a smoking room with double beds, I had to specifically ask for non-smoking room. I asked if we could be moved the next day and she said they had no king bed rooms available for the rest of the week! The room was cozy, and clean.”

• Free computer stations with internet in lobby with lounge and flat screen.
• A bit of confusion regarding parking charges that was not handled particularly well.

“Love this hotel for the location. Nice rooms in Queen Tower with views of the CN Tower. Great set up for use of computers with internet in lobby. Eaton Center shopping access a delight. Close to great shopping, dining and entertainment. Starbucks in room, morning papers and nice line of bath products. Comfortable beds, flat screen TV and safe in room.”

• Great location. Cabs are always waiting outside. Many hot spots are easily accessible.
• Parking was too expensive.

• The lobby and common area of the hotel is really amazing!
• The valet parking is pricy.

“It is a great location. Only a couple blocks away from the main entertainment spots. The lobby and general common area is really beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We also enjoyed the pool area with hot tub. The valet parking is pricy, so we parked in a public garage a few blocks away.”

• They almost gave us a room with one double bed but luckily a better room became available.

“Great location, central to everything a leisure or business traveler would want to do in Toronto. Very comfortable room and bed. Outdoor pool area was recently renovated and is fantastic for a summer stay. Reasonable parking under City Hall and extensive underground retail area with lots of dining choices and cover in the event of inclement weather.”

“When I checked in I was told that the only rooms they had left, didn't have beds in them, then they tried to charge me to upgrade to a larger room or charge me $30 for a cot bed. We made a fuss and ended up getting a cot, took 5 hours to get another cot but no pillows. Finally another 30 min later we got pillows. Anyone talking in another room could easily be heard. This was really a terrible experience, you don't expect this sort of shady service from a Sheraton. In fact I get much better service from a Hampton Inn.”

• I did not like pretty much about everything. A big guy at the front desk was not present every time I was there for help.

“Front desk staffs were terrible except daytime staff (girl). Night time staff (a big guy) was never present every time I was at the front desk for services. He occasionally showed up and then disappeared right away. Complimentary breakfast was not impressive and room was not very comfortable. Only thing I liked about this hotel was complementary wireless internet services. Other than that, I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.”

“The hotel and most the staff was amazing, but was not. The check in staff said they only had rooms with double beds left when we requested a single bed (queen or king) so we had no choice and took the 2 beds. When I went back to the front desk later on that night to inquire about something else I overheard them offering a choice of King size or 2 double beds to someone checking in.”

• Beautiful environment. Comfortable room. Convenient to underground pathway and downtown shopping & transportation. Housekeeping was wonderful.
• Charges for local phone calls. Parking is so expensive.

“Great place, especially for the price. Convenient to transportation/subway. Connected to underground pathway and shopping and close to downtown shopping. Parking is so expensive, but at least it is connected to the public garage so you have a cheaper option (but still expensive) - you can park conveniently in the covered garage-take the escalator up to the main lobby - avoid the valet! Housekeeping was wonderful to us! Our room was very attractive, clean and comfortable.”

“This hotel could only charge those prices due to its location. They charge for every little extra thing (wanted my wine bottle opened but they charged $1). Parking is outrageous. Smoke could be smelt from next room. Broken air conditioner. I just would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The room was beautiful and convenient to everything.
• The only complaint I would have and its not a huge issue is that it took a long time to get checked in, not enough staff on the desk.

• The personal service offered by the staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.
• There was no turn down service either.

• Parking very expensive and difficult. Hard to get in and out.

• The location and overall quality of the hotel was exceptional. The internet access was excellent.
• I really don't have any complaints.

“The hotel is centrally located in the Toronto business and fine arts district. The rooms are very clean and provide a beautiful view of the city. The internet access was easy and very fast. The hotel restaurants are overpriced.”

• We had to have a smoking room and were given free breakfast! Loved that!
• We didn't like the smoking room. Everything we had with us smelled like smoke the next day.
