“Top quality hotel in exceptional location. Large comfortable rooms.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Ann from London, ON CA
“Great place to stay. Centrally located, wonderful amenities, friendly staff. Had a great time even with a slight room glitch in the beginning which was fixed immediately.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Yevgeniy from Brooklyn, NY
“Small, loud rooms, overpriced parking and WiFi and unfriendly staff, all set the mood for a great Toronto experience.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Lauren from Fort Lee, NJ
“Unbelievable, best-of-Toronto location!” Aug 19, 2008 by
Sharon from Owen Sound, ON CA
“Hotel close to all attractions downtown, Eaton Centre shopping, theatre, Rogers centre, transportation at the door. I would stay there again.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Alan from Coraopolis, PA
“Overall, this was a nice hotel. Parking cost more than I would have expected it to. Also unhappy with the directions we got from the desk staff. They had us pay to take a Subway two blocks when we asked how to walk somewhere. Beds seemed to be a bit worn out too.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Jason from Montreal, QC CA
“Great hotel to stay at! Service was excellent.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Big D. from Conesus, NY
“For the price you would think they could offer Wi-Fi in your room. Wrong, they charge you for Wi-Fi.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Janet from New Hartford, NY
“A very busy hotel with a lot going on. Excellent connection to Toronto's wonderful subway. Beautiful waterfalls in the lobby area. Limited internet availability unless you brought your own laptop.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Christopher L. from Pierrefonds, QC CA
“Amazing for the price.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Ted from Chicago, IL
“Great place to stay. Close to everything that you would need in Toronto!” Aug 17, 2008 by
John from Barrie, ON CA
“I stayed at the Sheraton with my wife and two young children. We upgraded our room to the 41st floor to give the kids an enjoyable view of the city. The hotel location is excellent, the rooms are nice and the service is extremely good. The rooms and general areas are fairly clean, but with a deluxe rating, the hotel needs to be a little more thorough. It should be spotless and it is not. (e.g.. I don't think they vacuum under the beds regularly and the elevator needed to be dusted.) All in all, a nice hotel.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Jeffery from Hot Springs Village, AR
“We love the hotel, but the parking situation was not what we are used to. Charged $40.00 a day to valet, sort of tainted the day, but got over it after seeing that everything in Toronto was expensive.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Christine from Seattle, WA
“I highly recommend the Sheraton Centre Toronto for its convenient location, helpful staff, and comfortable beds. The whole city of Toronto is all within walking distance and when you get tired of walking, the streetcar and Subway is there to help you get where you need to be.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Peter from Peterborough, ON CA
“Great location, great facilities. Do not like the fact that you have to pay for internet. And, phone calls from the room are ridiculously expensive.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Corstian from Churchville, PA
“Excellent hotel with great amenities. Great location. Even a good place to visit during the humdrum of winter given its location on Toronto's underground "PATH". While prices in the hotel bar are expected to be somewhat higher, the doubling of prices compared to establishments only a few blocks away was a trifle excessive in our opinion. The bar was great for the expense account crowd on business but not as friendly for the leisure traveler. Stay here and seek drinks and food elsewhere.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Desiree from United Kingdom, ON CA
“What stands out most about our experience is how smoothly the check-in and check-out went. The person who checked me in made me feel very welcome and he offered help and advice beyond what I expected. The room itself was average for a 4 star hotel, but it was very clean and very large. The location is of course excellent for business travelers and the hotel benefits from having a large pool and gym. I would, however, never eat breakfast at Bistro Two again unless I had breakfast vouchers. The prices are simply unreasonable.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Syed A. from Coventry, CT
“This is a good hotel for business travelers. The location is good. The rooms are comfortable but there is an air of being congested about rooms, lobby etc. The hotel charges for small things that are usually complementary.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Jamie from Blenheim, ON CA
“We felt the hotel suited our needs. We did break a glass in the room and asked for the room to be vacuumed as we were traveling with small children. It took some time to have this done and the children were anxious to get to bed. I would say 45 minutes to an hour for them to arrive. Otherwise, excellent hotel.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Lori from Ottawa, ON CA
“Good central downtown location. Helpful staff. Excellent fitness centre & pool. But right next door to city hall and it's horrible clock tower. Even the heaviest of sleepers will be up all night long. Don't stay here if you need to be alert the next day!” Aug 14, 2008 by
Suzanne from Sault Ste. Marie, ON CA
“I would definitely stay here again. It was romantic and comfortable. Internet was too expensive and the hotel computers were crowded.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Roland from Oakmont, PA
“Very nice clean hotel with average size rooms, convenient to buses, subway, streetcars and Eaton Centre.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Chris from Victoria, BC CA
“Great room. Very comfortable bed, nice desk/work area, flat and widescreen TV. Only real complaint is expensive $22 in-room internet access and no wireless access anywhere.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Marcia from Stratford, CT
“This hotel was a great surprise. We never expected such a beautiful place for the price. And we loved Toronto Ontario. Recommend this trip to anyone.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Mark from Rochester, NY
“Hotel was fine except unwillingness to change to two double beds instead of one King. They did however provide a rollaway, which was the best rollaway I've ever experienced. Still would have liked to have two dbl beds.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Josh from Rochester Hills, MI
“The hotel was very nice. The lobby had a lot of seating areas with a lot of things to do. Across the street from the Eaton Centre - a huge mall - which was nice. The hallways were very, very dirty. The carpet was badly stained. Also, the hotel restaurants were nice, but very expensive and the food was not very good.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Todd from Burnsville, MN
“The hotel was fine - just definitely not a 4 star property and I was very disappointed. The room we would have gotten was small and bad location. The hotels treat you like second class visitors as far as room selection and at check in.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Paul from Orillia, ON CA
“Excellent location and quality.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Yu from Canton, MI
“You have to park outside or use the valet parking.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Camilo from Culver, IN
“First class service. Luxury is noticed from the time one enters the hotel lobby. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Ben from London, ON CA
“Great place, great staff, my daughter left a pillow (toy) and they found it and left it for us in security.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Jim from Amherst, NY
“Security did not control loud people in the hall on Saturday night. In the morning someone used a fire extinguisher which set off the fire alarm. Security was called 3 times during the night but did not stop the ruckus before the fire extinguisher incident but did nothing to stop the noise.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Ryan from Dartmouth, NS CA
“Internet was extra.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Sudeep from Wexford, PA
“Staff said they could only give me a smoking room then changed to room without a bed! I told them they were breaking the law and they relented but gave me a smelly, filthy room instead highly manipulative, arrogant and discourteous staff. Parking you have to wait for the morass of traffic in the tiny driveway to clear 45 minutes. Forget four star. I would ask the local authorities to put it out of business!” Aug 6, 2008 by
Cami from Grant, MI
“We enjoyed this hotel. We go to Toronto every year. The location is fantastic; right downtown and close to the subway/trolley cars. The path goes right under the hotel which is great in inclement weather. Check in was a nightmare. The hotel staff has learned how to look very busy at the computer to avoid customers. Only about 2 of 6 were actually checking people in. A woman had to ask for a manager due to the long line of people who were waiting and not being helped. Oddly enough, the others got busy helping people after that. The hotel itself is gorgeous; the lobby is the most beautiful I have seen in a hotel. The charges for internet in the room are ridiculous when they offer free WiFi (and free desktops with access) in the lobby. The pool was huge, and heated. Overall, I would stay there again.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Anna from Maidstone, ON CA
“The Sheraton was located in a convenient, central location. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were immaculate with king size beds that were the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. I miss the beds. The views from the hotels rooms were also quite impressive (one room faced the C.N Tower while the other room faced Nathan Phillips Square). I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The price of parking was really the only downfall.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Tammy from Bloomfield Hills, MI
“Beds were comfy, room was clean, nice view. When I first put in for a room I put down 2 adults a three children. I called weeks ahead and told them I needed two double beds and a cot. When we arrived they had us down for 1 double bed. They gave us 2 doubles after a lot of discussion, but refused to bring us a cot even though there was room for one that would not be blocking an exit. My husband slept on the floor one night and me the other. My back is still hurting.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Andre from Vancouver, BC CA
“We checked in on a busy holiday weekend at 5 PM and found they had no non smoking rooms left and no King size beds left. We had to pay extra just to get a non smoking room and the "upgrade" to a junior sweet seemed more like a down grade. The Junior Suites are located in a second tower that has no view at all (it's only 10 stories high) and our room was located right between an ice machine and the elevators. It was very loud and we didn't get much rest. The room was also very dark and dingy with outdated decor, a horrible layout and an awkwardly spaced out bathroom. White paint patches on their beige walls were visible in three spots throughout the room. We also found the bed way to soft as we prefer a firm bed which most hotels offer these days. The location is great and the staff is helpful but this hotel is by no means a 4 Star hotel.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Joulaika from Oak Park, IL
“The hotel is centrally located, and offers options depending on your budget when it comes to meals. You can eat on the street or pay too much at the hotel restaurant. I must recommend eating at Rich tree restaurant which is on Yong street. The hotel is connected to Path which is a underground shopping mall. Almost 7 blocks long if not more you can enter it from within the hotel or from on the streets. For breakfast or lunch you can head down in to the mall for Mc Donald's or a kiosk with bagels and such real cheap as well or you can head out to the streets and eat at a Cafe. If your a walker you can actually walk to china town too. The hotel has a classy feel to it, the beds are amazingly dangerously comfortable. I deliberated on leaving the room or actually staying sinked in bed.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Mel. from Ottawa, ON CA
“I was very happy with the Sheraton Downtown Toronto. I enjoy how close you are to all sorts of business locations and amenities.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Rachel from Rochester, NY
“When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that we were getting upgraded then we went into the room and it was dirty. The concierge said they would have someone clean it. We went to dinner and came back and it was still dirty. They had to move us twice after that to find a clean room.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Darrell from Astra, ON CA
“This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Toronto. The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking onsite is valet only. Internet is not necessarily provided. Our room was small and had one double bed. The very nice LCD TV turned on but no channels were available.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Christie P. from Madoc, ON CA
“We arrived in Toronto via the train on Thursday morning before noon and the hotel checked us into a room right away! Staff was very friendly! The hotel was very upfront letting us know when the cable was going to be out by leaving messages on the phone in our room! Impressive! Elegant lobby!” Aug 5, 2008 by
Andrew from Belleville, ON CA
“Great hotel, great location, friendly staff.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Laurie from Peterborough, ON CA
“Hotel was great, unfortunately we had to upgrade our room to get a room with a bed for our son, so that was upsetting. Apparently they had nothing, we were under the understanding there would be no problem with getting a room. So this added to the cost of our weekend.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Robert from Sault Ste. Marie, ON CA
“Staff was friendly and quickly responded to requests. Parking, if included would be worth additional dollars but this should be stated in advance.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Matthew from Carleton Place, ON CA
“Its great, no words will do it justice, just go there!” Aug 4, 2008 by
Gary from Minneapolis, MN
“For a four-star hotel I would have expected something a bit more stylish. It seemed average in decor and its architectural style.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Jared from St. Catharines, ON CA
“Hotel was nice. The cleanliness was ok but not great. We had to pay to use the facilities like fitness center. We were given a room with a great view which was a plus, and the staff was great.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Mohamed from Montreal, QC CA
“It was the worst hotel that I stayed in air conditioner was broken not fridge I told them I have babied with me and I need to keep their milk in a fridge the answer was sorry sir but fridges are only in our preferred gust rooms very bad customer service. Im very disappointed. VERY.” Hotel Representatives:
