“Great hotel but especially for the Sheraton group disappointing being placed right beside a room which was being renovated at 8 am with a lot of power tools and shouting.” Jan 22, 2010 by
JP from Ottawa,Canada
“ I had requested a King or Queen bed, but was told all that was available was a one-double bed or two double bed room without extra charges. I ended up with a single double bed room which was quite small - fine for myself, but not large enough for some co-workers to come back for a drink/socializing, as I often do. It would be advantageous to be able to select preferences on the Priceline site. ” Jan 21, 2010 by
Eric from Clawson,MI
“The common areas of the hotel are quite nice and location was perfect for us. The room, however, reminded me of a cruise ship cabin. With only a single Queen and very limited walking/lounging space we were always on top of each other. The bathroom door almost hit the toilet upon opening. I'd stay again if it were business, but for recreational it was quite disappointing. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as it was always empty. We met friends in the hotel bar, and had to send back a beer because it was warm and its replacement wasn't any better.” Jan 19, 2010 by
Brad from Mississauga,Canada
“Best overall hotel for business in the city.” Jan 16, 2010 by
Jennifer from Bethany,Canada
“The hotel was nice and clean. The room was clean although small and uncomfortable. During check in the lady was snotty and would not let us upgrade to a bigger bed or room in general. Should have been simple since we stayed on a Tuesday night. Only option for parking is $45 valet, so we used public parking across the street.” Jan 8, 2010 by
Porat from Toronto,Canada
“We like the hotel, the neighborhood, the shopping centers nearby and the comfortable transportation.” Jan 8, 2010 by
Sherry from Port Coquitlam,Canada
“Quinn's is a great place to meet friends and dine casually. The staff are all friendly and the food is excellent. Great atmosphere and a lot of the staff are Irish - complete with their nice accents. It had just a nice, friendly "pub down the road" feel to it.” Jan 6, 2010 by
Joanne from Barrie,Canada
“We stayed in a room with two double beds and a view of city hall/Nathan Philips Square. It was very conveniently located. We were disappointed that the hotel was reluctant to upgrade us to a room with one bed without charging a fee. The room was clean but nothing fancy. There was mold in the bathroom shower and pieces of drywall coming out of the ceiling in the shower. If I had been a patron of this hotel paying full price I would say it is not worth the money the hotel charges. Almost all of the stores connected to this hotel were closed on a Saturday during the day which was odd! The beds and pillows were great though!” Jan 5, 2010 by
Tony from Los Angeles,CA
“Better than average hotel, but small rooms. Excellent shopping within the complex including many food venues. The bar closes at midnight for some reason. The subway is right underneath the hotel.” Dec 31, 2009 by
Ken from Cambridge,Canada
“Its a nice hotel, but our room was located right next to an elevator, so it was a little noisy. The furnishings were nice and the bed was comfortable, but the overall structure of the room needed updates like the bathroom, walls, floors, etc. We had a great view of Nathan Philip Square.” Dec 29, 2009 by
Branko from Kalamazoo,MI
“Excellent place, location, and friendly people.” Dec 23, 2009 by
Barry from London,Canada
“The staff was very courteous when I was signing in. Help was offered for luggage but unnecessary. Parking was difficult but I expected that since I've stayed at this hotel before. The room I stayed in was clean and pleasant. Shortly after settling in the room (about 11:00 pm) it became apparent that a party was going on in numerous rooms on my floor. I called to the front desk and they felt it was better to move me and leave the partiers to another floor. The new room had a better view and was much quieter, in other words -Perfect. We were very happy with the room and the level of service.” Dec 17, 2009 by
Pamela from Lancaster,NY
“The fire alarm went off at 4:30 am for about 1/2 hour. Had announcements, etc. about the fire company coming to check out the problem. Since getting to bed late, it was very annoying.” Dec 17, 2009 by
Marilyn from St. Thomas,Canada
“A great place to stay for everyone. Really friendly staff. First rate accommodations.” Dec 15, 2009 by
Kim from Courtice,Canada
“The hotel was clean, the rooms were well appointed and the staff was very friendly and helpful.” Dec 13, 2009 by

“Staff was good and hotel was clean. The cost for parking was ridiculous and the elevator situation needed to be dealt with.” Nov 26, 2009 by
Bob from Peterborough,Canada
“I was there with my three siblings. My sister mentioned this to the front desk at check in and because of that they upgraded us to club level. We were thrilled. It may our stay very memorable.” Nov 25, 2009 by
Judy from Leamington,Canada
“We are always happy to get a room at The Sheraton. It's a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, and an excellent location to theater, shopping and restaurants.” Nov 25, 2009 by
Diane from Chatsworth,Canada
“It was a lovely hotel, would have liked to spend more time enjoying the facility, but was there basically to sleep.” Nov 25, 2009 by
Adolfo from Toronto,Canada
“Small size room, heating was boiling and there was no temperature control, no internet in the room, no noise insulation, very noisy hallways, very slow front desk service. Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.” Nov 22, 2009 by
E. Jayne from Guelph,Canada
“Hotel lobby and area are good. The reception was great, the room was clean, but very ordinary and the bathroom was older. I was there on business and therefore was only there to sleep and did not use the facilities. Room services was the most ridiculously expensive and not that great.” Nov 19, 2009 by
Scott from Kitchener,Canada
“The mattress was probably purchased when the hotel was built. It was the worst experience I ever had. The pool and hot tub had too many people. The change rooms were 30 yards from the pool, and there were no lockers available.” Oct 28, 2009 by
Nati from Toronto,Canada
“Great experience.” Oct 27, 2009 by
Andrew from Conestogo,Canada
“4 star Hotel in a great location. Nice pool.” Oct 26, 2009 by
Peter from Rockwood,Canada
“Bring lots of money if you eat or drink in the hotel bar. The most I have ever paid for a beer in my life. Park in City hall parking across the street. That will save you enough to pay for one beer. Nice hotel.” Oct 24, 2009 by
Jerry from Falls Church,VA
“Well-located, massive characterless convention-type hotel; rooms are adequate (indistinguishable from any other 2-4 star hotel), facilities are convenient (except for very slow elevators). Staff is pleasant, entrance is unattractive. A good buy!” Oct 21, 2009 by
Tony from London,Canada
“Very nice hotel and would defintely stay there again.” Oct 21, 2009 by
Paul from Ottawa,Canada
“Great staff wonderful room on the 25 th floor and view of the CN tower what more could we want nothing negative from us .” Oct 16, 2009 by
Ken from Dartmouth,Canada
“A nice Hotel but not exceptional.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Ben from West Linn,OR
“The Sheraton was quite nice at first glance, but was under construction and the rooms didnt quite match the lobby in style and quality. The staff was quite helpful and even refunded our parking fee when there was a mis-communication between the front desk and the Valet and our car was not brought around as requested, it was a nice surprise.” Oct 9, 2009 by
Ric from Grand Rapids,MI
“Overall this hotel was fantastic. It was right downtown in Toronto and was in walking distance from everything. The hotel itself was beautiful with a waterfall right in the lobby. The excessive charge for parking is the only negative.” Oct 2, 2009 by
Kim from London,Canada
“I definitely recommended this hotel to everyone I have spoken to about my trip to Toronto. I was overly pleased with the hotel staff, they were very helpful with everything. They did everything to keep me as the customer happy, they informed me of local shopping areas, parking which was cheaper then the hotels etc. Definitely a must stay at hotel.” Sep 30, 2009 by
Robert from Belmont,MA
“The hotel staff was accommodating when we found there was a mix up in my room. They rectified the situation in a very courteous and professional manner.” Sep 30, 2009 by

“Great location for walking to Chinatown and Queen W. village. A few blocks from the sub-way system, free e-mail access in the lobby using hotel computers.” Sep 18, 2009 by
Dorothy from Sudbury,Canada
“This hotel is excellent. The rooms were bight, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was public parking right across the street.” Sep 15, 2009 by

“Busy hotel but lobby is very large. Centrally located. Rooms are very comfortable.” Sep 4, 2009 by
Maureen from Buffalo,NY
“Great experience and staff could not have been friendlier!” Sep 1, 2009 by
Somewhat upset from Ottawa,Canada
“The hotel is very nice and well situated in the heart of downtown Toronto. The discrepancy lies with Priceline and the Sheraton as one contradicts the other. In particular, it is implied that you will be booking for a standard room (king) however when calling to confirm with the Hotel twice I have been assured that my room is for 1 king. Upon checking in the Sheraton continues to inform me that there is an additional $20.00 fee for a king size bed.” Aug 30, 2009 by
Brian from Fayetteville,NY
“At 4-stars the hotel is overrated. Perhaps the upper tower is newer and/or cleaner. The hallways on the 14th floor were stained. Hallways lined with yesterday's room service trays. Room seem to shoddy. Bathroom had insufficient ventilation. Public spaces were very nice. Tourism desk added (undisclosed) markup to all tickets, tours booked through the hotel.” Aug 30, 2009 by
Lee from Coquitlam,Canada
“My son was quite impressed when we arrived late at night and saw the grand entrance to the hotel, but when we were then sent to the Richmond Tower (the older wing of the hotel) his disappointment was evident. The Richmond Tower is very dated. The dull colored tan walls and the dirty carpets had us worried, but when we opened the door to the room we found it to be well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and it had all of the amenities we needed. The staff we encountered were always pleasant and helpful. The answering machine was apparently not working in our room and a friend who was trying to get in touch with us managed to get a bell-hop to bring a note directly to our room.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Richard from Longueuil,Canada
“Very beautiful hotel, well located (in front of City Hall). The staff welcomes you with a smile and makes the effort to give you nice room accommodations. In the lobby there is a DJ with nice music while you sit on comfortable sofas (drinking free limonades). The children used free computers with wireless Internet. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and the spa (and walk outside in the garden). In all very good experience for the all the members of my family.” Aug 26, 2009 by
Mike from Flemington,NJ
“This hotel provided everything you expect from a US based Sheraton. The service was excellent, the rooms above average, and the location was superb. Giant hotels like this one always have one drawback and that is they sometimes feel like a train station with so many people coming and going. Squeezing into an already full elevator or standing in line for over 5 minutes at the information desk is annoying but certainly manageable.” Aug 25, 2009 by
Jody from Hamilton,Canada
“I phoned them after making the reservation to ensure we would get 2 beds for the 4 people that would be staying in the room. They told me they couldn't guarantee it, which didn't make any sense. Then I called again on the day of our visit and was told that all the double rooms were booked, but that they would try to get us into one. When we got there, we were told there was nothing they could do. So all four of us had a room with one king bed. We did get a roll-away bed, but that only slept one, so three of us still had to sleep together on the queen. I'm not sure why they wouldn't allow me to request a room with two doubles from the beginning. It would have improved our stay greatly!”
