“The only other thing I was not pleased with was the cleaning staff. Even with a do not disturb sign on door; staff proceeded to knock until I answered. They had a bell hop coming to take my bags if needed. I didn't ask them to nor did I even have any bags.” Oct 16, 2007 by
Dana from Franklin, TN
“Met my needs for one night.” Oct 16, 2007 by
Dave from Dansville, NY
“This is a great location for anyone who is going to a concert, a ball game, the waterfront, the CN tower, or shopping. It is literally block(s) away from many attractions.” Oct 16, 2007 by
Amber from St. Catharines, ON CA
“Nice hotel for the price. Definitely not a 4 star but more like a 3 or at max 3.5. Room could use a paint job as some of the paint was chipping. They had comfortable beds and nice linens. A great desk and flat screen TV. Cordless phone was very handy. (Star bucks coffee in the room and on site) the bathroom was ok except for the tub/shower it could use an upgrade. Te towel rack was in the tub shower and I almost hit my head since I wasn't expecting it to be there (sticks out about 1.5 ft) the room and hotel was very clean. I would stay there again. Also a copy of the globe and mail at your door in the morning was a nice touch.” Oct 16, 2007 by
Bob from Hanover, NH
“We used valet parking ($30). Front desk very friendly and efficient. Switched us to a king bed room, no charge, no fuss. We got a corner room on the 31st floor with views of the city and the lake. Excellent one night stay!” Oct 12, 2007 by
Greg from Toronto, ON CA
“Well located - excellent renovated rooms - great that it is a totally non-smoking hotel.” Oct 12, 2007 by
Amardeep from Mississauga, ON CA
“My boyfriend and I were celebrating an anniversary. Upon finding this out, the desk staff person who checked us in sent us a complimentary bottle of wine within 30 minutes of our arrival. Wonderful service.” Oct 11, 2007 by
Stephen M. from Nashville, TN
“Overall, The Westin Harbor Castle was great. Nicely laid out with a very trendy feel. Good location, with a helpful, friendly and polite staff. The bathroom was a little messy with all the water from the shower, but the rest of the room was exceptional, and the bed wonderful.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Angel from Scarborough, ON CA

“Beautiful furnishings Great view The room was a nice size. Loved the gym Probably the best equipped hotel exercise room I have ever seen. Outside the hotel was a beautiful boardwalk that ran along the lake and was dotted with restaurants bars galleries and stages The overall location was very central We were able to walk to the core of the city.” Oct 4, 2007 by

“The Westin harbor castle is just that, a castle. It's located at the southern part of the city and we were lucky enough that our room had a view of the harbor as well as the city. At night I considered the light show at the CN tower my own personal nightlife!” Oct 3, 2007 by
Todd from Montreal, QC CA
“Excellent decor, excellent beds, pillow, excellent bathroom/showers Starbucks in bedroom beautiful flat screen TV.” Sep 22, 2007 by
Sharon from Las Vegas, NV
“We enjoyed a wonderful 5-day stay with a lovely view of the harbor. Room was pleasantly appointed, but did not have a closet--odd for such a nice hotel. Bed & bedding were exceptionally comfortable. Hotel charges $30/day parking fee, which valet parking attendant hustles (what an "attitude") The Desk clerk, however, was very helpful in advising of much cheaper nearby alternatives.” Sep 20, 2007 by
David from Goderich, ON CA
“I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting Toronto; especially downtown. It is minutes away from the air Canada centre and the Rogers centre and a short walk (20 minutes) to shopping and the theatre. The centre island ferry terminal is located right behind the hotel.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Steve from Kent, OH
“Overall I liked the hotel. The people were nice and very helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. They were better than my own bed at home.” Sep 18, 2007 by
Theresa from Sauquoit, NY
“Would recommend to anyone. Would definitely use again.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Evee from Forest Hills, NY
“Hotel room was really nice, even though we did not have a lake view. The Westin Heavenly bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out in the morning.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Paul from London, ON CA
“I was impressed with the lakeside view-it was a sight to watch the boats at nighttime and first thing in the morning. Front desk was most helpful when the air conditioning was experiencing problems and moved my wife & me to the other tower. Overall, I was really happy that we spent the night in the Harbor Castle.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Venu from Bloomington, IL
“This is my impression of the Hotel. Great location, great view. Not very cordial front desk personnel. I requested for a king size bed but I was told they don't have one. My friends came after and they got a king size bed in their room. So I had to go back and talk to a different person so she changed my room. Now coming to the room, great view, nice decor but it was very dusty. I don't when it was cleaned.” Sep 6, 2007 by
John from Ontario, NY
“A good hotel, not the most convenient location, and parking is not at all convenient. Not quite as nice as the downtown Sheraton.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Tara from Grand Blanc, MI
“The location was amazing! Overall it was a great place to stay, but the cleanliness and a few room qualities weren't what I would consider a 4 star. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, although the concierge didn't know any info about the CNE (the biggest attraction on the weekend we were there), didn't know where to get Day Passes for the TTC, and fell short in restaurant recommendations. The room was a bit dusty, and there were smears of some kind of gooey spills on the bathroom counter. The bathroom shower drain didn't drain. There was also a large hole in the wall around the plumbing for the bathroom sink, through which a lot of noise from the next room's bathroom came through. The bed had queen size sheets and comforters on a King size bed, which made it very uncomfortable, since the sheets were not tucked in, and the comforter not big enough. Minus the cleanliness, the noise, and the poor plumbing, this was still a great hotel to stay in, and very good value for the money.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Eric from Belleville, MI
“The hotel was fine. The only issue was the lack of parking available to customers of the hotel. Plus it was expense to park at the hotel.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Michel from Champlain, NY
“The rooms are super clean. The bed is comfy. The bath is a little small though.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Tim from Herriman, UT
“Hotel looked fabulous with granite lobby. Reminded me of a fancy Las Vegas hotel. Great location, right on the lake. Walking distance to a lot of major attractions.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Lucy from Chicago, IL
“We got a great deal for this four-star hotel that exceeded my expectations! I would stay here again as this hotel is elegant and clean, and the rooms are very modern and comfortable. The location has a nice view of the waterfront, but if you're looking for shopping in Toronto, it is a bit farther away from queen street shopping and the Eaton center. Unless you have a car or willing to take a few carbides, you will have to walk more than a few blocks or take one of the many trolleys in the area. Overall, I thought it was an excellent hotel with a beautiful lobby and renovated up-to-date rooms. It also has a great fitness room with a variety of equipment, a nice pool area, a large hot tub, a sundeck, and a tennis court. The only negative was that unless you get dropped off at the top of the driveway, you have to carry your luggage up several ramps or stairs to get to the lobby area which is on a higher elevation.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Tim from Roch, NY
“We had an excellent time at the Westin Harbor Castle. The rooms were great; the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool and work out is also top notch! The location relative to the entertainment district and shopping was ideal! We basically parked the car and walked every where we wanted to go. This is an ideal location for staying in Toronto.” Sep 4, 2007 by
Sean from Silver Spring, MD
“Attractive, large rooms. Luxurious amenities. Great views from the room.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Lois from Parry Sound, ON CA
“All in all it was a nice experience though when we went to connect to the internet and a charge was on the screen and we did not connect so therefore we did not use internet and we were promised it came with free internet.” Sep 2, 2007 by
Richard from Brooklyn, NY
“Great hotel. Nice for kids as well. They have a special kids room. Flat screen TVs in the room. Indoor pool.” Sep 2, 2007 by
Kulvir from Kissimmee, FL
“This hotel is very nice and the staff is very accommodating.” Sep 1, 2007 by
William from Mcgregor, ON CA
“The hotel is conveniently located on Toronto's Harbour front and has good access to city transportation services including Union Train Station. Toula Restaurant, a formerly rotating restaurant on the 38th floor, was pretentious and did not live up to expectations. The hotel manager and concierge were both helpful in providing information about the city as well as resolving issues related to the mini-bar in the room. Upon expressing my concerns to the manager, a complimentary refrigerator was sent to my room quickly. Hotel pizza delivery service was tasty and inexpensive; definitely a good option for eating-in. Express check-out service was a breeze.” Aug 31, 2007 by
Melisa from Bridgeport, MI
“Beautiful hotel! Most of the staff was helpful and pleasant. The room had luxury bedding, a larger bathroom, and a view of the city and the great lake. The elevators are very fast. The pool area is nice with a patio on 5th floor. The restaurant was excellent, although room service breakfast was just okay.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Diane from Mechanicsville, VA
“This hotel is fantastic! Service is their middle name. As soon as I called, someone was there in seconds. The staff is friendly and totally on top of everything from knowing what you do in the health club to holding your luggage after checkout. The health club facilities are wonderful- full gym, steam room, sauna, and great pool with lap lane (yes!). Location is delicious (at least in the summer on the waterfront). Room was breathtakingly gorgeous and very clean. Love the Starbucks coffee in the room. Room service food was yummy.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Kc from Palo Alto, CA
“Liked hotel but distance from metro makes it slightly inconvenient.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Chris from Royal Oak, MI
“Great location - right at the harbor area. Easy access to mass transit. Hotel room was clean and recently remodeled. Stayed in the South tower. Great room, great price!” Aug 29, 2007 by
Adele from Port Elgin, ON CA
“The Hotel was very clean and appealing, the staff friendly. I felt very safe traveling alone with my 9 year old daughter.” Aug 29, 2007 by
Barry from Windsor, ON CA
“Comfortable, clean upscale facility with good features and well staffed. Restaurant good but a little expensive. Only issue we had was air conditioning problem for first 3 or 4 hours we were there. This was corrected by late evening. Would certainly stay there again.” Aug 29, 2007 by
Patrick from Buffalo, NY
“This hotel was clean, comfortable and wonderfully located in downtown Toronto, but the lack of affordable parking was ridiculous.” Aug 29, 2007 by
Dennis from Hamilton, ON CA
“It's a first class hotel in the largest city in Canada, waterfront. Short distance from most events, theatres etc. Other than the offsite parking which really didn't affect things too much. I could have done the valet parking that was a little pricey.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Kevin from Philadelphia, PA
“You get a lot for the price. No complaints at all about this hotel. Extremely pleased with my stay there. 10-15 minute walk to many area attractions.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Magdalena from St Thomas, ON CA
“The room was very dirty, seemed like it was badly wiped down, when we complained we were told that the hotel staff was very busy, no one tried to rectify the situation. When we requested extra towels, real mugs and real cream for the coffee we were told to use the paper products provided in the room. Very unfriendly staff.” Aug 23, 2007 by
David from Surrey, BC CA
“Just go to the nearest Super 8.” Aug 23, 2007 by
James from Troy, MI
“The service was fair.” Aug 23, 2007 by
Jeff from Guelph, ON CA
“The hotel itself is in a great location, the rooms are beautiful and the facilities are great; especially if you are bringing your kids. The pool area has great indoor pool with tables and workout rooms, etc., plus giant outdoor patio with tennis court, basketball hoop, all on 5th floor. Checkout is a breeze. Negative: the parking greeters are mean-spirited, tip-hungry jerks. They are nice until you don't tip, then they are petty and slow. They will tell you that you can park down the street for $17 if you don't want to pay $30 for valet in the hotel. Then they won't let you sit your car by the front door while you check in if you are not valet. When you go down the street the parking lot person will charge you $20 to park and $5 for in/out privileges. So you are better off taking the valet parking. Just know that the valet car jockeys will hover for tips and if they don't get them they get mean. One guy actually shut the door on me before I was actually fully in my car and hit me when he realized I wasn't tipping. So, valet is $30 plus tips every time you get your car. This is gouging and unnerving. However, all other aspects are great and I would stay again.” Aug 22, 2007 by
Jeff from Syracuse, NY
“Near the bay. Close to Roger Center and the CN tower.” Hotel Representatives:
