• Really comfortable beds, the view was good and lobby was nice.

“The room was decent although it is obvious that the room was very old. The wallpaper was ancient looking but the new furniture and decor made it much nicer. The beds were indeed heavenly and there is absolutely nothing to complain about them except there is a little stain on one of the pillow cases. The room services were slow and the server did not bring what was asked for. The shower head looked amazing until it was turned on as the water took at least 20 minutes to heat up to barely warm.”

“If you are just looking for a very nice place to sleep and relax, the Westin Harbour Castle is excellent. However if you require internet access, want to make local calls the additional fees to do so greatly reduces the acceptability of this hotel.”

“Check in was efficient despite the long lines - it moved quickly. Room was clean and updated. The staff were all pleasant and the hotel was very busy. We did not eat or drink in the restaurants.”

• The view, the location.
• Paying$ 24.00 for internet , the parking $45.00 thats too much , and if you hold the blanket against the light its brown.

• The Westin Harbour Castle had lovely, clean rooms, very comfortable beds, and good service.
• The shower head - while providing great pressure - is set extremely low in the shower. I'm only 5'9" and I had to duck significantly.

• The staff were great and the location was perfect.
• No parking.

“The hotel was great. The location is perfect for traveling around the city. You can walk to just about anywhere. The one thing this hotel needs is parking. Valet is extremely expensive and the parking lots beside the hotel are also expensive as they trick you into believing you are paying a decent price and then when you leave, require you pay more money.”

• The lobby was very upscale.
• Horrible view of factories. Dark hallways. Took a while for hot water to come in the shower.

“Hotel staff threw out item of importance left in room which was obviously not garbage and did nothing to find it or replace it. Otherwise, nice design, comfortable, expensive extras including parking, internet, movies, spa, etc.”

“It's called Castle, but the architecture is more like that of a giant tomb. From the point of view of architectural design it is the ugliest hotel of this level we have been in in the world. You have breakfast, but you don't have a view of the lake. You try to walk into the hotel from the street (instead of driving in) and there is a horrible set of steps. The hotel is very dark inside.”

• Location was convenient to explore downtown and lakefront.
• Fitness club under construction - loud shutting doors.

“Stayed here for just one night to go to a baseball game and explore downtown. Perfect location for both. Had a very nice, clean room with a king bed. Quick, polite staff at check-in. Business center charges by the minute for internet which was a bit disappointing. Fitness center was closed due to construction, which would have been disappointing in most circumstances, but I walked all over the city instead. The hotel room doors have lock mechanisms that will not allow for the door to be closed quietly even if you want to do so. So the sound of doors shutting/slamming on the floor is heard at all hours. I guess I got used to it, since I did sleep well, but it is noticeable.”

• The staff was pleasant and respectful. We especially enjoyed the attitudes of the front desk personnel and the main floor restaurant staff.
• Distance from DT shopping & dining in the winter months. But would be a nice walk in warmer weather!

“My husband and I were really impressed with the pleasant nature and ease of conversation with all of the hotel staff. From the front door men, to the front desk personnel, everyone was courteous and anticipated our every need. The main floor restaurant buffet breakfast was fantastic. The room we stayed in was small but adequate, and modern in decor. The view was lovely, and the king sized bed was very comfortable. We did think the walls might be rather thin, as we could clearly hear the shower in the adjoining room - but not once did we hear actual people (voices or television). As mentioned, valet & off-site hotel parking was super expensive ($40 & $26 per day), but less than 1/2 a block away, you can park yourself for $10 per day (be out by 7:00 am the next morning though).”

• The location and view was just great.
• Front access not easy if you have moderate walking disability.

“The convenience to the Air Canada Centre is perfect. The view was great. I realize they were doing renovations but the entrance was not very appealing, perhaps it was because of their renovations.”

“I used my GPS to get downtown, but once there it would not log onto your location, I spent at least 15 - 20 minutes circling around because I couldn't find one harbor square, however, once located, I was very satisfied with your hotel. It is beautiful, clean and welcoming.”

• Everything was great, no complaints at all, will recommend it to all my friends.
• The price for parking was way too expensive and if you didn't pay for the valet you had to walk 2 blocks away.

very nice hotel, with nice, modern, clean rooms but not very convenient location. Not very close to public transport, consider especially during the 7 or 8 months that its cold. Cabs are very expensive in Toronto, about 15 dollars just to get from the hotel to downtown.”
