- Fire alarm at 7:30 AM. Oh well.
“This is obviously the ideal place to stay if you are flying in and out of Pearson Airport, but it's equally ideal for a getaway that doesn't necessarily include a flight. Everything is elegant, comfortable, quality - from the room to the restaurant to every element of service.”

- Parking fee - 28 dollars.

- Very spacious room, with nice furniture.
- Impossible to locate. Location and directions to hotel were inaccurate. $28 for overnight parking was very expensive.
“Beautiful hotel room! However, I was unable to find exact location of hotel, even though I was given an alternate address to input on my GPS. Although I could see the hotel from the road I was on, I needed to call hotel to get clarification, only to find out that access was only available from inside the airport at Terminal 3.”

- The location.
- The rooms were very old. In order to get any better rooms, we have to pay for an upgrade. They gouged us with internet & parking.
“The Delta Chelsea had a great location, with exits to three main roads and two blocks away from the Eaton centre. The lobby and public areas are nice, definitely live up to the four star rating. The rooms we received, however, were old and the bathrooms had signs of mold fixtures. The internet was charged on nightly basis, and the parking was chargeable too. Other major hotel chains of a lower star rating offer the same for free, making me confused as to why I should pay for more for a higher star rating when I have to pay further for things that are free in the other hotels. The Comfort Inn has much nicer accommodations for better and with them you get a free breakfast.”

- I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff.
- I did not like the lack of surrounding restaurants or the price of parking.
“Overall I found that this hotel met or exceeded all of my expectations. The service was friendly and fast and the room was gorgeous. The only complaint I could possibly make is that there were no surrounding restaurants and the hotel restaurant was expensive but even at that the food was worth the high price. I would definitely return in the future.”

“Excellent hotel for overnight stays while in transit. Very clean, comfortable, safe and friendly. I wouldn't stay here if visiting Toronto for a while, as it's not convenient for sightseeing, but for a stopover to get refreshed for a day or two before continuing a journey, it's an excellent place.”

- Not convenient for visiting Toronto.
“An excellent hotel right in the Toronto airport. One of the best features of this hotel is its 24 hour pool and fitness centre. I have never encountered a pool that was open 24 hours before, and it was really nice to be able to use it late at night, after a long day. Thanks to the automated check-in kiosk, I never spoke to a single member of staff, yet my 2-day stay was extremely pleasant.”

- It was extremely convenient to get to from T3. The room service and housekeeping were very fast to respond to requests.
- The staff did not understand a simple order from the menu and despite the appearance of a children's menu, did not cater to a child's taste.
“This was the best option for airport location without having to take any transport shuttles with our 2 small children and luggage. The check in/out service was automated and quick, but we lacked any personal contact. We had 3 very confusing contacts with the room service personnel, even though we ordered the kid's soup and sandwich item off the menu. In the end, it still wasn't correct and only a few bites of an untoasted grilled cheese were taken. Good thing we were able to go back into the terminal for snacks. However, the housekeeping staff was extremely quick to respond to a messy clean up we needed in our room. Overall, it was a good experience.”

- The room was comfortable, clean and had modern amenities.
- The service at check in was okay, but could have been better.
“The Sheraton Gateway is the perfect place to stay if you have an early morning flight out of Pearson (or a short lay-over). The room was spacious and clean, had a nice sitting area, large flat-panel TV and a really comfy king-sized bed. Ask for an upper level floor if you like to watch the planes come and go. One helpful hint - park at the GTAA lot and take the train one stop to the hotel, this will save you big bucks on parking fees.”

- You could hear other people in their rooms.
“I was surprised by how quiet the rooms were. Found food prices at restaurant very high. In fact we ate in airport, as they where cheaper their. That's how expensive they where. I did not like the fact that you could hear people in the other rooms but you could not hear airplanes out side which surprised me. Pool and sauna where very nice. I asked for message put no one called me back? They had hair dress and jewelry stores but never saw them open very strange?”

“$28/day for parking. Give me a break! Two coffee's with baileys in it with tip for $32. The Hotel is average and no where near a 4 star or 5 star facility. You may think you got a good deal however in the end the expenses you may for the staying there will make up the difference of any savings you had on the room rate.”

- Great location; right next to terminal 1 & 3. You can walk to airport.
- Terrible service. Plenty ladies of the evening around.
“Guest service did not give proper directions to hotel. Upon arrival, doorman & bellman didn't want to help w/ bags. Front desk clerk read out my room # loudly in front of others and was very impatient. He processed me like a number and did not asked if I have any questions when I had plenty. Called guest services upon entering the room to inquire about dining, I was informed that the restaurant was still open. Went to restaurant right away, found out it was closed and had to settle for the Lobby Bar w/ limited menu. This is when I experienced my Cobb Salad the Sheraton way: romaine, tomato, egg and carrot without blue cheese, chicken or bacon. The soup we ordered came literally cold. Too bad my children were sick and throwing up, otherwise I would have a nice chat with the manager. The staff and management wasted a great location. Terrible.”

- Overpriced Internet access.
“This is a fine place to sleep when you have an early or late flight, since it is directly connected to Terminal 3 and to the automated airport shuttle to Terminal 1. Although not fancy, the room was quite comfortable. Internet access was overpriced; I wish they'd just bundle it into the cost like motels do! Also, the person who answered the "guest services" phone could not tell me about getting into town on public transportation, which I later learned is quite easy. The restaurant had the typical overpriced mediocre fare for breakfast. After breakfast, I discovered the other dining options in the adjoining airport terminal. All in all, I'd say not having to await an airport shuttle bus makes this decent hotel a winner, if not a no-brainer.”

- Great new had widescreen TV ;).
- The room is a little bit smaller than the others I have been in the same star level.
“The hotel is clean and comfortable though the room and bathroom was a little bit smaller than others in the same star levels liked the new big had widescreen TV in the room. The drawback of the hotel is the entrance is a little bit complicate because we have to go on several elevators before getting to the hotel. All in all, it is a great hotel.”

- Parking procedure needs improvement upon leaving.
“Excellent hotel. The only area of concern is leaving the hotel parking. Upon reaching the cashier, he still had to phone back to the front desk to confirm that the ticket that you had validated was correct. A great delay results. Other travelers I met said the same thing.”

- The staff was very helpful and polite, and I could enjoy smoking without feeling discriminated against or less human for my tobacco addiction.
- Could better brand of coffee in the room with more bottled water for making coffee with and more creamers.

- In the airport so perfect before or after a plane trip.
- No valet service, parking was the airport parking.
“The mini bar in the room wasn't even stocked and there was no hairdryer. We only got a better room after asking for an upgrade. The second room was worthy of the 4-star rating.”

- Room was beautiful, clean & comfy.
- Hot food at breakfast buffet was awful.
“This hotel is incredibly convenient with an annex to the airport. The room was comfortable, clean, warm & thoughtfully decorated. Service was great and concierge was very helpful. At check in we were given a buy one get one free breakfast buffet voucher. This was great except that the hot food at the buffet was terrible. The fresh fruits, cereal and yogurt were fine and the service was fine as well. While the voucher seemed like a great deal, at $23 it was anything but for the quality.”

- Easy to get to from the airport. Medium clean and plain in decor.
“The hotel is right near the airport but very far from any shopping centre and downtown. Room decor is dated and medium clean. Good for overnight stay between flights. Staffs attitude is cool but courteous.”

- Swimming area.
- Parking 25 dollars a day.
“Personally I enjoyed the hotel, I wouldnt have gone to an airport hotel if I knew about it but over all it was a pleasant stay, my son and I were riding the train that goes around the airport all afternoon. Swimming area and bathroom, fantastic! Food was a bit pricy for what you got, also parking would run a hole in your pocket.”
