• I was amazed it was a Days Inn very nice.
• I really liked it.

“When driving up to the Days Inn surrey I was so pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful modern 6 story building. I was expecting a little motel and this is definitely a hotel. I had my 2 little dogs and my teenage daughter. The front staff greeted me and had my card waiting for me to check in. We didn't see much of the hotel but our room was nice in size and clean. It had a microwave and refrigerator and everything was just great.”

• It was easily the best Days Inn we've ever stayed in.
• No complimentary breakfast, other than that it was good.

“Great location, close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and a quick walk across the park and ride lot to the Sky train station. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to anyone.”

• Day's Inn was very surprisingly clean & room was spacious.
• Drunks & Transvestites surrounding hotel & hanging out in lobby, 70's furniture, needed remodel.

“Would not recommend, would not list as two-star. Bad location.”

• Excellent Sunday brunch.
• Parking was limited due to parties in progress.

“This hotel is an excellent choice for the business or leisure traveler. Friendly staff, clean room and an excellent restaurant made this a pleasant stay before our cruise departure from Vancouver.”

• I liked the architecture, helpful staff, and décor.
• Access from the road and highway.

“The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely return again.”

• Front desk help was the best customer service I have had in years.
• Nothing.

“It is the best days inn we have ever stayed in. The staff is fantastic and the room service was quick, the food was good and the price was exactly the same as you would pay downstairs in the cafe. We loved our experience and feel it is partly due to the Canadians being the kind people that they are.”

• "Felt" much better than a Days inn.
• Had slight problem with the shower.

“This is, with out a doubt, the best Days inn I have ever stayed in. With 6 floors, this hotel simply feels more like a business traveler/upscale hotel. It's very clean, has wonderful amenities. Located next to a sky train station, it's very convenient. The next time I need to go to surrey Id be thrilled to stay here again.”

• The rooms were nice and fully met if not exceeded expectations!
• It is in a rougher part of town with a liquor store attached!

“Rooms and facilities were clean with updated furnishings for a 30-year-old hotel! I would stay again for business, but likely not with my family!”

• The location was convenient.
• The lady that services the room is very nosey (in my business).

“The hotel is not bad. One thing I did not like was that the bathroom walls around and below the sink area, as well as the walls around the microwave/fridge and closet area, needed to be painted, they have ugly marks all over them. Otherwise, the room was fairly clean and agreeable. If I can receive the same rate I received for my stay, then I will visit again soon.”

• Good location - ample free parking - reasonable prices.
• Cleaning and maintenance issues need work.

“Reasonably priced and centrally located for the entire Fraser valley - under 40 minutes to anywhere in the lower mainland of greater Vancouver. Convenient highway access and close to us border crossings - sky train rapid transit to downtown Vancouver at doorstep. I have visited & stayed in the hotel numerous times for various functions - generally pleasant experience. Food is inconsistent quality. Rooms large and in good repair. Ample free parking a plus. Handy cold beer/liquor store on premises as well as a restaurant, lounge and beer parlor. The giant ballrooms are excellent for large gatherings but are not fancy, terribly clean or well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. After nearly a dozen venues, I would return without any problem.”

• It's certainly above regular Days Inns I have stayed before in.
• It's a bit too far from Vancouver.

“Don't underestimate the name - the hotel is nice, there are two parks around and the Swiss Chalet nearby has the best chicken I ever tried.”

• The food for room service was delicious.
• The food in the restaurant was not very good.

“The hotel was kept clean everyday with satisfaction. Front desk people were helpful and generous. Pool was kept clean so people could enjoy their swim. Room service food was excellent Help was answered immediately when needed.”

• The hotel provides convenient access to nearby shopping and sky train.
• The street noise was too loud to bear at night even with windows closed.

• Large, clean room, competent staff, nice restaurants, next to SkyTrain station
• Everything was fine.

“Good value. Easy to find. Excellent restaurants with good prices. Big room with sofa, coffee table, desk, big TV, nice bathroom with soap, shampoo, and conditioner in shower. Convenient to SkyTrain station. (You can get an all-day pass for all public transportation modes.)”

• Put us in room at roof-level and close to kitchen exhausts

• next to skytrain station, no car parking fees like ramada park plaza, nice safeway grocery and other stores, refrigerator in room
• away from downtown but the skytrain station next to it is useful to get to downtown easily

“liked it. nice clean rooms, refrigerator in room, used skytrain station to reach downtown area and did not need to drive, no car parking charges, not in a congested area and so there are larger stores, there was a safeway grocery store close by that we used and liked.”

“The facility was very nice, the room was spacious and clean, everything was great except the management of the hotel. We were kept awake until nearly 3:00am by unruly (my guess is intoxicated) guests. They were partying in the hallways, and even calls to the front desk did not result in them being quieted down. I complained the next morning at check out and was pretty much told they had a lot of parties that night, which is not an acceptable explanation.”
