• Close to airport shuttle bus service central location good rooms.
• Too short a stay.

• There was no room service menu and they didn't seem to care.

“The hotel is very nice, convenient to the airport, convenient to the light rail to go to Vancouver downtown right next to a huge mall with everything you might need. Small but adequate business center. Clean and well maintained.”

• I liked the suite, it was roomy, the bed was great.
• I didn't like having to put a key card in the elevator, but that not really a big deal.

• Very pretty and clean!
• Nickeled and dimmed, had to pay for parking and internet.

“Very pretty and clean. It was nice and the staff were great! The only thing we didn't like is that if we wanted to use the internet, we couldn't in our room unless we wanted to pay, yet you could go down to the lobby and use it for free, didn't make much sense.”

• Beautiful room, close to Airport.
• Too many extra fees; internet, parking those should be free.

“Love the fact it is close to richmond core and Airport, rooms have great windows and furnish very nicely, bed is also very comfortable. However, having guest pay for parking ($12) and also pay for internet is a bit too much. Feels like you have to pay for everything else other than a good night sleep. I expected a Marriot hotel to be more generous.”

• Lovely room, although not super large, quality mattress and sheets, super view from our 17th floor terrace, very clean and quiet.
• $11 charge per night to park!

• The front desk staff was extremely helpful.
• We had to pay for parking.

“We had a great experience. The people at the front desk was extremely helpful. The hotel has step-by-step directions for getting around Vancouver and surrounding areas. The only thing we didn't like was having to pay $11/night for parking our rental car.”

• No refrigerator for storing milk.

“I like the hotel. The location is good. It is convenient to go either Richmond or Vancouver. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping is good, too. The only thing is they don't have a refrigerator in the room.”

• Good location close to Vancouver AP. Nice room with first class linens.
• On a main street so a little noisy.

“We were in a room with a single queen bed. High class linens. Good views over Richmond. Very convenient to the airport (five minutes or so). Typical Marriott service at a high level.”

• Staff was friendly and eager to help with anything you needed. The rooms were great and the food at restaurant was wonderful.

“I was very pleased with everything. We arrived early in morning and there was a room waiting for us which was a plus, we got great service from the whole staff in all depts. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and not overly priced either. We will be back !”

• Comfortable beds, very clean hotel and wonderful staff.
• Had no problems what so ever.

“This hotel met all our needs for our trip, the employee's bent over backwards to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would have rated this hotel much higher than a 3. We have stayed at others that were a 4 and this hotel surpasses them. I would stay at this hotel again.”

• Very friendly to young children, great rooftop pool and hot tub.
• Perfect for airport, wouldn't stay if didn't have early or late flight.

“Complimentary upgrade on room. We stayed here due to a late arrival flight, so low expectations but got a great surprise. We ended up spending all morning here - very family friendly, fun rooftop pool, hotel and restaurant staff couldn't have been more welcoming to young (and loud) children.”

• The restaurant American Grill is a hidden gem. Wow.
• I felt some of the furnishings were dated.

• The bedding was amazing! Super nice sheets! About a million thread count.
• The pool was closed. I had to pay $11 to park-there's no reason for that in Richmond.

“I called to ask for a room with 2 beds and they said sure, but when I got there they said that was only a request and I had to pay more to get a room that would accommodate the 4 of us. Parking is expensive too. I wouldn't expect to pay for overnight parking at a hotel that is not Downtown.”

• 3rd Marriott we stayed in on this trip-only one we had to pay for internet.

“The hotel was clean and friendly and worked well for us. Additional comments: when making reservation we indicated there were three in our party, but room we received would not accommodate three - cost $10 per night more for larger room. We initially reserved room for two days, and then extended for two more. Room was not made up the third day. Its nice the hotel provides coffee in the a.m., but would be nice if it was available until 8:30 or 9:00 for non business travelers.”

“I was very impressed with the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and met our needs perfectly. It is an airport hotel, so I wouldn't expect a rich holiday-experience, but for the time we spent there it was perfect. Very comfortable beds, helpful, resourceful staff, good, responsive restaurant. All in all a more than satisfactory experience.”

“Overall this hotel was in close proximity to the Vancouver airport. It's in Richmond, so if you're fond of some a lot of Asian cuisine, there is plenty in a short walk from the hotel. The area isn't to busy and rooms we're clean and comfortable to be in. I had a great stay.”

• Clean and comfortable. I like especially they have comforter cover and they separate the sink from the toilet/bath tub.
• Nothing.

“I highly recommend this hotel. They gave us a suite and king size bed without a special request. The room is pretty impressive. It exceeded our expectation. I like the comforter cover very much that most other hotels don't have. The housekeeper is very caring. My husband and I had a great stay there.”

“It was great! Beds are very comfortable, and we received a room with a walk out patio that overlooked the street below. Pool and hot tub on the 5th level roof was pretty nice too, especially at sunset! Highly recommended, you won't be sorry.”

• Expensive breakfast buffet, close to $40 for 2 people with tax and tip!

“Great location in Richmond, close enough to the airport (10 min.) and right across the street from the Richmond Center Mall. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, too. I would avoid the on-site restaurant as it is so and over priced. Otherwise, a good property.”
