• Fairly close to tourist attraction (old Montreal).
• The hotel parking charge was $20 but no available parking space.

“The hotel parking charge was $20 per night but it lacks available parking space, so I ended up paying $28 in a parking lot not affiliated with the hotel.”

• Very nice. Got upgraded upon arrival.
• $22 a night parking.

“Excellent location on University St. in the heart of the city. Access to Subway system via underground mall/corridors which gives access to most of the downtown areas. Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. Only drawback was $22 a night parking.”

• We were not informed that its main attraction (revolving restaurant) was closed due to a labor dispute.

• Renovated room; good location; excellent check-in.
• Some concierge staff not helpful; poor luggage storage.

“The location was very good - a very short walk to Old Montreal and close to the Bonaventure and Square-Victoria Metro stops. The walk to Ste-Catherine street is a longer walk, but I'd been to Montreal many times before and didn't need to frequent there very often. There is a food court a few stories down in the underground city that the Delta is connected to. (The best connection I've had to the underground city, however, is at the Hyatt Regency Montreal). The building itself is a bit dated, but they've done well with trying to keep the interior up to date. The entry foyer/atrium is quite impressive still, and the hallways are bright with what seems to be new carpeting. The renovated room had more "modern" furniture and the bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was the bathroom plumbing and fixtures, which were still on the old side. This seems to be quite common in Montreal from the other hotels I've stayed in there.”

• Location to downtown Montreal was great and the employees were kind and helpful.
• Parking was too expensive and so was the breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

• Most comfortable bed ever experienced in a hotel.
• Not enough storage space in bathroom for toiletries and personal items. Better locks on room door.

“Easy to find if driving into the city. Within walking distance for sight seeing in the downtown/Old Montreal area. Well equipped gym. Small but nice indoor pool with a outside undeck overlooking the city. Very comfortable King bed with down comforter and pillows. Would stay again.”

• Close to Old Montreal and Downtown area.
• One of the concierges was rude and snobbish.

“I enjoyed the stay. I requested to have a non smoking room when I arrived and it was available shortly after. The room was clean, appeared to be newly renovated, and looked very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. He asked if I liked McDonalds. I then went to a busy section near Berri St and found a large amount of people there with numerous nice restaurants and didn't have to wait for seating whatsoever at the restaurant I chose. The hotel was beautiful and would be on my shortlist when I return to Montreal.”

• The attitude of the staff and the comfort of the room.
• Cost of parking $22 day.

“Beautiful hotel and great staff. I would stay again. Convenient to downtown Montreal but a little tough getting out of town to the suburbs on business.”

• The hotel was well located and clean.
• The hotel staff was not knowledgeable or helpful.

“I would stay here again. However the level of knowledge on the area of staff was poor. And internet should not be a charge at 3 star upscale hotel. It should always be complimentary.”

• It's weird. But the color is too "dark".

• Walking distance to many attractions, affordable.
• Bigger beds because we were traveling with our teenage kids.

“Sleeping accommodations weren't adequate for us- didn't need the use of the car because almost everything we wanted to see was walking distance-not enough to do in the hotel for our teens.”
