• Very convenient to attractions of the city.
• Could not get a nonsmoking room at check in. Parking very expensive!

“This hotel's amenities were about the middle of what I would call a 3-star hotel. The rooms have small balconies, but we had to drag a pouf outside to sit out there. The air conditioning would make the place very cold, and then not come on again until it was quite warm. The sliding doors to the balcony didn't slide properly. Other than that, the room was clean, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. We liked the fact that the hotel is located near many of the attractions (shopping, restaurants, public transportation) we wanted to see. We would definitely choose this hotel again.”

“The hotel was located in a convenient location. The outside of the hotel looks very nice. But when we got into our room, the carpet was dirty and the bed was very unconformable. In addition, they have given us a smoking room when I specifically said that we needed a non-smoking room.”

• The cost to park $ 22.50 each day.

“The hotel was located very well it was in walking of the largest underground mall and it had lot of nice cafes to eat at and the subway was a cross the street that would take you any were you wanted to go. Very nice place.”

• The service at the restaurant for breakfast was not as good as expected - but made up for it the second day.

• This hotel has luxurious rooms! Also, a 24-hour concierge who was very helpful.
• The children at the pool were noisy and unsupervised; the Jacuzzi was broken.

• Location was paramount for us, comfort of room was also important but secondary.
• Hotel had a plain look/feel to it, that for sure did not feel like a 4-star.

“Very central location, acceptable service/quality. Room was fairly comfortable without being a wow! Very plain though, neutral decor almost like a hospital room. No fridge, which was a minor irritant. Last year we stayed at the Sheraton Four Points, up the street on Sherbrooke. Much better but also a little pricier.”

“We were standing in the elevator room about 10 mines waiting, since there was a big kid hockey team came down. Just two elevators worked made the morning check-out time worse. when we tried to use exit stairs to go down, and it was hard to find parking place from lobby, because we have to find another elevator to go down to parking level, for a new guys not speaking French, which is more difficult.”

• The staffs were helpful and location was good with a number of good restaurants & Chinatown near by.
• Furnishings & Carpet & bathroom are dated. Parking very expensive.

Location is good for tourist and business. To & from airport is straight forward. Hotel restaurants are fairly good but slightly pricey. Tips : Request rooms above 8th floor. Lower levels are all for group stay usually young & noisy ones.”

“I called and confirmed a non-smoking room. I know it being Canada, smoking still rules in some places. They had no other room to switch us to. Our floor was non-smoking. The entire floor smelled like smoke. The floors above and below were not designated nonsmoking and they did not smell of smoke at all.”

“I went shopping with a girlfriend for the day, location was very handy, cabs were very accessible and also the metro was just down the street if needed. I was quite surprised with the size of our room. I would not recommend this hotel for romance, great for business and leisure with family and friends. Had a business centre which I used. Needed something on the internet at approximately 12:30 p.m. business centre was open. Overall, it was a very positive experience.”

• The room service and movie rentals were a bit too expensive.

“This hotel was great. The location was perfect. Just a hop away from the best parts of Montréal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had loads more amenities than I expected. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have slept in my life. I spent a good part of my vacation just hanging out in the hotel because it was so nice.”

“Overall, I liked this hotel. The hotels allows you to upgrade to an executive floor for an additional $25 CD/day, which is pretty cheap. I did that on a previous stay, and the executive rooms are huge and come with free internet. My room this times, though not an executive room, was more than adequate.”

• Beds were old and very uncomfortable, and parking was very expensive.

• No valet parking-prefer to park ourselves and save money on tipping!
• Stairwell very dirty and littered-scary.

• The lobby was very nice and some of the staff were very nice.
• The room they gave us was the worse room and they said because of we get the worse room with old beds.

“We were appalled! The lobby was beautiful. At first we were given corner room with old linen and an uncomfortable bed. We specified non smoking and the room smelled like it was a smoking den. It almost was motel quality. When we went to see what our alternative was, they could not guarantee a nice room. We stayed in an average nice hotel room. It was a tremendous disappointment, especially since it was merely 4 days after we had gotten married.”

“Our stay at the delta was good--beds were comfortable and they had nice big bathrooms. Its a good hotel with all the basics--not really romantic or charming but if you're just looking for a decent price hotel with a convenient location, definitely stay there.”

• Internet is more important than a TV these days; internet access should be wireless and free.

“A standard, quality hotel, with all services and nothing to complain about. Very central location, with easy parking. Regular price is high. Good bang-for-the-buck when coupled with an online last-minute deal. But, there are many services I could go without (free amenities, spa/pool, daily full room cleaning, etc.) If optionally removing access to those would reduce the regular room price.”

• The location was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the pool facilities were good. The pool water was a bit too warm for length swimming.
• I had to pay extra for a room. See comments below. Whirlpool was not working properly.

“Otherwise I had no other choice. Therefore it was not because they didn't have the room, they just wanted to charge extra. I did not find this fair. ”

“The only problem is the parking which has 6 feet clearance. This is the case with most parking lots in the area. I parked at another lot and it was only 6.5 feet clearance. Hotel is awesome, everything is clean. Rug looks old but I have seen such in Hiltons.”

“The hotel is well-located downtown in Montreal. There is nothing special about this place. The room I had been in need of renovation: dirty carpet, chipped paint and worn out fixtures. The beds are plain-Jane and the bedding is minimal - motel 6 style. The room is large and well laid-out with a useless balcony. The bathroom was well-equipped with fancy toiletries and there was a robe available. It reminded me of what I¿d expect in a Marriott ten years ago. It serves the purpose well for a business trip and I got a good night's sleep. The airport shuttle is terribly inconvenient - poor service and a transfer and more stops than you can count. Take a cab or the metro. The parking garage requires heroic driving: very steep and very tight. The hotel is on a hill with entrances on three levels. The north side is on the 3rd level, the south on the first.”

“The hotel location is great and the staff is excellent. However, the hotel facilities were a bit old and most of the ice machines were broken. I spent 30 minutes to find a working ice machine. Would recommend the hotel though.”

• Location was excellent, the gym/spa/weight room was fantastic.
• I had a little trouble finding a parking spot for my Sienna minivan in the underground parking.

“The hotel is located close to many tourist attractions. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. I was pleased with the quality and size of the room, which was a standard two bed room. I did not take advantage of the attractive restaurants or bars as there are two many landmark restaurants in Montreal that I didn't feel that those in the hotel could compete.”
