• Ideal location, above a shopping mall, close to the theaters, cinemas and shopping district.
• You must use two different elevators, one to gain access to the lobby, on to gain access to your room.

• The services offered at this hotel is quite good.

“This hotel has a nice lobby, friendly staff, and a large offering of services. The hotel charges a cost of $15 for 10 minutes of use of the internet at its business center. Going from your room to the parking garage requires taking 2 separate elevators which are a distance from each other. This may be tedious.”

• The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The bed was great.
• This hotel is not as in the middle of things as it could be but is within 5-10 blocks of everything.

“I liked the hotel. It was adjacent to the Metro and has a great food court in the connecting building. The rooms were very warmly decorated and the bed felt brand new. The staff were very friendly and all were multi-lingual.”

• The gym was fabulous - very modern machines and beautiful pool.
• The hotel rooms are a little stark, but very clean.

“The Hyatt Montreal is centrally located and very easy to get to all the main sites. I found the employees extremely helpful and kind -- they let us keep our bags all day at the hotel. I also thought the pool was breathtaking and the gym surprisingly nice. I highly recommend the Hyatt.”

• Location was excellent. Everything was mostly in walking distance.
• No hot tub, small rooms, poorly lit bathrooms, expensive parking.

“In general, the Hotel is good. However, I feel that the valet parking option is way over-priced. For 90 US a night, I expected to have a better coffee machine and a better looking room. The fact that one had to take an elevator to actually get to reception and to the lobby was a huge nuisance. Staff friendly and helpful.”

• Great location, very upscale, a mall in the basement!
• Wish it had a hot tub next to to indoor pool.

“This hotel was in a great location in downtown Montreal. During my three day stay, I never once had to use my car or public transportation because we were close (but not TOO close) to the nightlife, and in a great spot to explore Old Montreal, the waterfront, and China Town. Also had a great view, nice indoor pool, and upscale staff.A Perfect surprise!”

• Beautiful hotel, great location, gorgeous views from hotel terraces' and balconies, mall underneath hotel

• Very friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable beds!
• We asked about currency exchange and were told it could be done at the desk. But it's only American to Canadian, not vice versa.

“Excellent location above the Complex Desjardins in downtown Montreal. Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms a tad on the small side, and TV reception was spotty on some of the channels. But overall a very worthwhile experience.”

• beautiful, clean, great rooms, polite and friendly hotel staff, modern
• parking is too expensive - 19 $ per night

“it's one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at! the hotel staff was very polite, especially at the reception! check-in was no problem! the equipment ist modern and beautiful! the room are large and we had a very good view! only the parking was extremly expensive - extra charge! but all in all I would recommend this hotel!”

• location, clean sheets and soft towels
• they charged for everything extra.. even connecting to their wifi network

“CHINCHY. Nothing was included... no breakfast, no parking, no internet. They hit you with fees for everything. The location was nice, but there's only so much a 2 elevator ride to the underground city can get you to overlook. ”

• Hotel is well located with a shopping center on the first 3 floor with everything you need.
• I had to wait 2 hours for my room when I arrived.

“I was quiet disappointed with having to wait for 2 hour to checking. The checking time was supposed to be at 3:00 but I had to talk to the manager on duty at 5:00 after the staff at the reception told that my room was still not available.”

• front desk staff very good
• housekeeping did not make up my room both days and i complained 2 times each day. Second night room was never made up at all, as I went out for night

• I can't believe I got such a stunning hotel for the pretty low price I paid
• I wish I had booked our entire stay here

“ I didn't have this experience at all. We were treated (friendly). The view were spectacular!!! It wasn't a large room, but for two people who don't need tons of space..it was a beautiful room. Don't forget to tip!”

• We walked most places and people were helpful and friendly.
• We liked it. I guess the tub water went out slow. That's about it.

“The rooms were a nice size and very pretty. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We walked to the old town and we also took a tour bus and it picked us up and returned us to the hotel. It was very clean and it was quiet.”

• Great terraces, poolsize and gym facilities are awsome.
• The Hotel sidewalk on rue Jeanne-Mance needs to be cleaned in the afternoon.

• The location was perfect. Just what a couple of kids needed.
• No complimentary breakfast, but we definitely enjoyed the Montreal food better.

“I think the hotel location is great as being part of a mall.It is closed to many activities such as museums, theatres, restaurants, historical places, etc. I recently had a great experience during the Jazz Festival where as a guest I had access to the free nightly jam sessions and the view of these festivities from the balconies were awsome.”

• I liked the location
• I did not like the non-fitted bed sheets and low lighting in the bathroom.

“This hotel was a great deal with a great location. I found the room large and the bed very comfortable. The room did smell a little musty, a little like smoke. But overall very very good.”
