“It's nice and clean, tastefully decorated and upscale. It was easy to get to from the train station and we would definitely stay there again.” Oct 5, 2009 by
Joe from Colchester,VT
“A great place to stay in the heart of downtown Montreal. Unless you have other plans for how to spend time in your room, expect to pony up $16 for Internet.” Sep 29, 2009 by
Krishan from Brampton,Canada
“Great hotel for travelers looking for comfort and something slightly upscale. The location makes it great place to stay.” Sep 20, 2009 by
Jerry Cardillo from Santa Barbara,CA

“Comfortable, safe, centrally located.” Aug 28, 2009 by
Laura from Bradley,AR
“The hotel is great, unless you book with Priceline. I am almost positive they stuck us in a room with a wet floor from a leak and a broken a/c knowing there were problems. When we patiently waited for the problem to be resolved, we were given the run-around. One manager even lied directly to us, telling us the mechanic said the room was fine, even though we were five feet away and heard him tell his boss it was broken and we needed to move. He eventually blamed his lie on a co-worker, nobly. We were told there were absolutely NO available rooms in the entire hotel, and only after about two hours of trying to get them to fix the situation did one magically appear. Outside of this fiasco, it took us five minutes to find a valet, while the car was waiting in limbo. Further, there was a ten-minute long line at check-in. Positively, the mechanics were really nice, though one should never have to know it.” Aug 27, 2009 by

“Great hotel and great location.” Aug 17, 2009 by
Sandra from Orlando,FL
“Great hotel in a great location - we loved the dog beds. The Starbucks was part of the bar and that confused us since we couldn't find it until someone showed us. I used the salon in the lower level and it was great. There is a large park in the next block to walk the dogs - very safe even late at night. We also walked to shopping one block over.” Aug 7, 2009 by
Mark from San Diego,CA
“Great experience and would love to stay at this location again if I return to Montreal.” Aug 2, 2009 by
Heather from Toronto,Canada
“Really nice hotel, great price on Priceline, so that really helped as I would probably not stay at this hotel without my husband in the future unless I could get a similar rate. I will stay here again perhaps in September with my husband. Really nice experience and GREAT location. Only downfall I would say were the drink prices at the bar, really quite over the top .I would not have a drink there again $32.00 for a rum and coke and 1 glass of wine is excessive (including tip).” Aug 1, 2009 by
Patrick from Flushing,NY
“Convenient to downtown Montreal, the rooms were clean and updated, as was the overall appearance of the hotel.” Jul 25, 2009 by
Gayle from Honolulu,HI
“We were able to check in early with a great room and view. Concierge, bellman, front desk all very helpful and friendly. The lobby was nicely appointed and very clean.” Jul 3, 2009 by
MZ from Brampton,Canada
“Nice Hotel, clean room, nice view of the montreal downtown from the rooms. Starbucks coffee in the rooms. Nice hotel over all. Parking was $20/day, but every downtown hotel charges for parking in every city. Totally satisfied, except for the fact that you had to pay for internet in the room and in the business centre. The hotel is very expensive, so use priceline.” Jun 19, 2009 by
Franco from Winnipeg,Canada
“Great hotel, great service and May 8, 2009 by
Virginia from Toronto,Canada
“Excellent location, service, cleanliness and bedding was supremely comfortable.” Mar 31, 2009 by
Clara from Toronto,Canada
“Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations because of the disturbance caused by the construction. There was a person hammering a couple of levels down in the hotel, a alarm clock going off next room over, cleaning staff talking aloud in halls, someone hammering a floor below us. We asked to have another room the next day and the people at front desk were really helpful. They were very courteous and moved us to a room on a lower level.” Mar 26, 2009 by
Brian from Mississauga,Canada
“The hotel met my expectations except for: unidentified charges for room bar, movies and internet.” Mar 21, 2009 by
Shirley from Nepean,Canada
“The room is a bit small. Quite surprised by no bottled water provided. Clean room.” Mar 19, 2009 by
Brad from Ostrander,OH
“Hotel is in a good location. The room was probably the smallest we have ever stayed in and the bathroom was way to tiney and had black mold on the caulking in the tub. The shower head also leaked so the miniature bathroom floor was constantly wet. The bed was comfortable and the rest of the room seemed clean. Parking is outrageous at $20 per day.” Mar 18, 2009 by
Maxime from Montreal,Canada
“Luxurious at first glance only. Rooms are not on par with standards: dated furniture, TV, washroom, phone, carpeting, wallpapers, etc. Desk chair was uncomfortable. No wireless Internet, no bathrobe. Nice views on higher floors (I stayed on 19th). The staff is decent but not going out of their way to make the stay better. May be good for business travelers or anyone who does not expect anything exciting about a hotel stay.” Mar 9, 2009 by
Stephen from Windsor,Canada
“Clean hotel, lobby is nice, room was small. Couldn't smoke in the hotel, it's smoke free. Had to go outside. Expensive internet access and local calls. Ice machine didn't work on my floor.” Feb 24, 2009 by
Karen from Windsor,VT
“This hotel seems best suited for a business travel, not especially luxurious or comfortable, just adequate. There is a very high per day fee for their WiFi. Do not let them give you a room near the elevators.” Feb 11, 2009 by
Alix from Ottawa,Canada
“I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last three months. Both times the staff at reception were noticeably less helpful. Once in our room the staff was absolutely wonderful, whenever we requested something to come to the room.” Jan 3, 2009 by
Atsuko from Ottawa,Canada
“Overall enjoyed the stay, very cozy, except we did have some drunk people making noises in middle of the night and woke us up.” Dec 16, 2008 by
Marc from Waterloo,Canada
“Food was poor, the pizza served in the bar was soggy. Breakfast choices were few. Porter at door would not get a taxi because it was snowing! Hello we're in Quebec. The inside people were not much help and I had to walk and find a taxi myself. Poor representation of Quebec hospitality. Not recommended.” Dec 15, 2008 by
Marc from Waterloo,Canada
“The hotel porter refused to call a taxi, because it was snowing. Inside people were no better. The pizza in the bar was soggy. Internet expensive at $15. Breakfast poor. This does not meet what a traveler would expect of a downtown hotel Not recommended.” Dec 6, 2008 by
Harry from Winter Haven,FL
“The rooms and bathrooms are too small for a 4 stars. Too little amenities. No magnifying mirror and no CD player.” Oct 29, 2008 by
Shane
“This hotel is near a subway, food, and has an ok pool. Location is good, near the Bell Centre and many other things and the room layout and bed was great!” Oct 29, 2008 by
gj
“This hotel was better than expected.” Oct 29, 2008 by
Shay
“I was not very pleased with this hotel - the rooms were very outdated, and the bathroom was dingy. The hotel lobby was quite attractive. One thing I will give this hotel is its ideal location, across from the Bell Centre.” Oct 27, 2008 by
Ken
“Excellent place overall - great location, great service, and beautiful lobby and hotel shops - perfect for business or pleasure. However, the rooms are slightly on the older side, and the room amenities are getting a bit old. For a romantic stay, I would try to find some other place, but a business trip will be more than fine. Parking is convenient ($20 per day) right underneath the hotel, but the structure is much disorganized. Despite these disadvantages at this hotel, I'd still highly recommend it to those traveling alone, on business, leisure, or with your family.” Oct 19, 2008 by

“The staff was all very helpful and friendly. A hotel employee even gifted us with a bottle of wine to start off a romantic getaway at the hotel. Front desk staff and the concierge were extremely helpful.

“Only the outdated decor of the rooms keeps this hotel from being 4-star. Polite + efficient staff.” Oct 16, 2008 by
Noorani
“I would definitely come back to Sheraton again. Would definitely recommend other businesses to stay at this hotel.

“Very clean and pleasant hotel. Good location as it is not too far from Old Montreal or from shopping on St. Catherine. Room service was very efficeient and good. Convenient early check out as well.” Oct 16, 2008 by
Nate
“A great place to stay if visiting Montreal as a tourist. The staff was very friendly and we had an awesome trip. I definitely recommend getting a room on a high-numbered floor as it provides spectacular views of the city.

“The hotel was just ok if you want a better hotel go to the hyatt regency. The hotel proclaimed that there was high speed internet in the room but alas they charged by the day. This forced us to be inconvenienced by going to the club on the 37th floor or the lobby. I was also shocked by the poor service and food in the club lounge which is available to starwood members.” Oct 14, 2008 by
Christoph
“Nice hotel, not over the top fancy rather basic rooms, but well equipped, pricey restaurant/breakfast, convenient location.” Oct 4, 2008 by
Rick
“Great Hotel. Charges for Parking and Internet.” Oct 3, 2008 by
Vickie
“This hotel was full of business people. The room itself was nice, if a little dated. The room was very quiet with no noise heard from other guests or traffic. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely return.” Sep 24, 2008 by
Ruth
“It was a lovely room and hotel, quiet room, comfortable bedding, helpful staff, good location.” Sep 17, 2008 by
Cindy
“Overall the hotel was a good value, location was very convienent. The lobby and common areas were very nice, however the room we had was out dated and in much need of renovation.” Sep 15, 2008 by
Lisa
“The Sheraton Montreal was a great hotel because of the location. It was central to all the area attractions. A pleasant walk to Old Montreal and right near Crescent Street where all the restaurants were. The only drawback was the slightly worn wallpaper, decor. The hotel staff was very pleasant and the concierge was helpful. A nice hotel.” Sep 15, 2008 by
Ephraim
“The Le Centre Sheraton is an okay hotel but its closer to 3* than Sep 14, 2008 by
Christopher from Chicago, IL
“The location is great and is within close walking distance of everything including a Metro (subway) station, if needed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The clerk that checked us in said that there were no queen or king size beds in the hotel. We passed a room that was being cleaned, and there was clearly a king size bed in it.” Sep 12, 2008 by
Romeo from Saskatoon, SK CA
“Initially, the hotel looked old, but the potential for it to be well kept gave me a glimmer of hope. False hope, is what I had. I called numerous times for service at the front desk and they either forgot, or just didn't do any of their work. I was very disappointed with my stay.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Julia from Quincy, MA
“Location is great. Almost all of the attractions are walk distance from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and clean. But the cover of the chair was torn. There were stains on the carpet in the hall. Bathroom needs to be renovated.”
