• Great atmosphere and excellent location - very charming.
• Valet parking, although staff was excellent.

• Beautiful rooms, helpful, friendly staff, excellent location for tourism.
• TVs were small for the size of the room.

• Great ambiance, beautiful brick-walled room, stylish lobby and bar. Helpful staff and complimentary wine and cheese.

“Very chic hotel in Old Montreal. The hotel has an original part and a new part. Our first room was very small and dark in the new part, a long distance from the elevator. My wife had a sore knee which the bellman noticed immediately and on his own initiative contacted the front desk and arranged for a room closer to the elevator. We were given a large and beautiful room in the original part of the hotel, with brick walls on all sides and a roomy bath. Our experience would have been much different if we had stayed in the first room. I don't know if all rooms in the new part are as small and dark, but in the future I will always ask for a room in the original section. The hotel served a continental breakfast in the first floor bar/restaurant area with cereal and pastries. While there was nothing wrong with this, it was a come-down from the lavish breakfasts we were used to in hotels in Europe and the Middle East. Overall, a very positive experience. We will definitely return, although most likely in the off season.”

• Big comfortable room. Great location. Wine & cheese hour was nice.
• Ordered room service and it took 2hrs for it to arrive.

“Overall, a very nice boutique hotel in a great location. The room was quite large and nicely appointed. People were friendly and helpful. Wine & cheese hour was also a nice feature. Our only complaint was that we ordered room service one evening and it took almost 2hrs for it to arrive.”

• Great location, attractive decor in public areas, nice rooms with comfortable seating, beautiful bathrooms.
• The shower nozzle only had one setting which didn't spray well, occasionally there was no hot water.

“Hotel Nelligan is located in the middle of Old Montreal. Almost everything is in walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room service is fast and has great food. It was a very enjoyable stay.”

• Incredible! Comfy relaxing super nice employees.
• Not a thing.

“We've stayed at the W in many Cities. This is by far a much more relaxing atmosphere then the W. We like the W, but for our stay in Montreal we fell in love with N. We will forever stay at Nelligan when we're in Montreal.”

• Friendly service great place.
• A couple of nights had to sleep with window closed, noise outside.

• The room was really nice. The staff was also helpful and friendly.
• They told us we had to pay to park on the st, which was not true because it was the weekend.

“This was a beautiful hotel. The room was excellent, bot clean and sizable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.”

• Lovely room, decent breakfast, excellent evening wine & cheese.
• lighting in bathroom poor. Forget breakfast on the roof - only open later in day/evening.

• Nicest hotel, in the world, that I have ever stayed at!
• There is nothing to not like about Hotel Nelligan.

“I had only planned to spend one night there celebrating my anniversary. One night was not enough, so we stayed for two. From helpful service, to the amazing rooms, this is now the only hotel in Montreal that I would stay.”
