“Check-in was below par for 4 star hotel. Neither bellman or luggage cart were available. Front desk staff was not particularly helpful or friendly, but the tour desk staffers were absolutely great. Helped with my lost car keys and provided good info for our trip up to Toronto.” Oct 20, 2009 by
Dara from Toronto,Canada
“My previous experiences with hotels were that they accommodated me the same as any customer. Despite being less than fully occupied - they wanted to extract more money from us in order to get a view of the falls despite the fact the hotel is called Sheraton Fallsview. They put us on a low level room with a view of the HVAC systems. Discussions with staff were on the rude side even if it is against some policy to put people in a room with a decent view, one could still be polite about it. This pretty much set the tone for our visit which meant we had no interest in spending any more money at that hotel whether it be for dinner or breakfast the next day. We gladly visited other businesses for that.” Oct 19, 2009 by
Jay Schwab from Wallingford,CT
“I will never stay at that hotel ever again. They never mentioned a parking fee and so the day I left, I found out that I was paying 25.00 dollars a day for an outdoor parking lot that was attached to the building. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they were plain old Canadian rude. Don't stay there.” Aug 1, 2009 by
Joanie from Akron,OH
“We had a wonderful stay and we loved our room. But there was no continental breakfast and we felt that twenty dollars a day for our car was way too expensive.” Jul 23, 2009 by
Deepak from Milton,Canada
“Been here numerous times, great stay, would definitely go back soon. Very clean, friendly environment. A++” Apr 20, 2009 by
Tweed from Pikeville,KY
“The location was great and the room was awesome. Also the view was incredible, the falls were right out the window.” Oct 1, 2008 by

“Great hotel, view is incredible. You're better off buying the attraction passes on the street, the hotel is too expensive. The staff didn't inform us of the $5 hotel shuttle until the last day. The overall stay was great though, I would definitely go back. Niagara on the lake was beautiful.

“It's a decent hotel, the room was nice, and the decor is nice. The pool isnt great.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Tanya from Markham, ON CA
“Was clean, I did not appreciate the fact that we spent a lot to stay there for the weekend, yet had to pay for parking each day.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Tabitha from Madison, OH
“The hotel was very pretty with a good view of the falls if you pay a lot more for the room. The casino was a good walk from the hotel especially when it is cold outside. All of the restaurants in the area were over priced. Clifton hill area is much more enjoyable, more things to do and less expensive. I would not recommend the falls view area for anyone unless they want to spend a lot of cash and only want to gamble and see the falls.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Stefanie from Steubenville, OH
“When we do travel to Niagara Falls again, I will most likely look for a hotel more centrally located and one that offers free parking. The hotel was clean, but some of the employees were not as friendly as you might expect. The food at the steakhouse was great though.” Mar 25, 2008 by
Xiangyi from Ville St-Laurent, QC CA
“Waited for very long time for check in, more than 45 min. No breakfast included. The staffs' performances are so, not very warm.” Mar 18, 2008 by
Rolf from Milton, ON CA
“Good value for the Falls.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Kim from Pittsburgh, PA
“Beautiful rooms and view. Not the nicest pool area or easiest parking.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Kim from Pickering, ON CA
“The hotel was in a great location. Rooms were very clean, quite and comfortable. The restaurant had a wonderful view and the food was great. We have stayed at this hotel before and we will stay there again.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Jonathan from Copake, NY
“The hotel was decent, the room we had, we found garbage under the beds and it kinda made me wonder if they cleaned the sheets and all. Not to mention they charge you 23.50 to park.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Karen from Ormond Beach, FL
“The location was great for viewing the falls. The parking is expensive even for the area, the hotels around it, as well as the other Sheraton, were half the price. The elevators are horribly slow.” Jan 30, 2008 by
Steve from Chatham, ON CA
“Decent view, clean large room, disappointed in $9.00 bottle of water and long elevator waits.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Thomas from Rochester, NY
“Other than the Spectacular view of the falls. The price of the room exceeded what the room could offer.” Jan 23, 2008 by
Nellie from Aurora, ON CA
“Look and feel of luxury at an affordable price.” Jan 17, 2008 by
Amanda from Hamilton, ON CA
“Good hotel, beautiful view of the falls, very clean and professional. parking is very expensive at the hotel $20 per night, only $5 at the casino.” Jan 17, 2008 by
Jean from Gatineau, QC CA
“Walking, however, is desirable at Niagara Falls on both sides of the border!” Jan 17, 2008 by
Pat A. from Aurora, ON CA
“The hotel lounge/restaurant had a very nice ambiance and good food. The in house live musical entertainment was great. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.” Jan 3, 2008 by
Deb from Ann Arbor, MI
“The location is the furthest on the step of hotels, but has a great view and is only 20 min walk from downtown and 5 minutes from the better restaurants (recommend The Keg for convince - book reservation on line A MUST). The staff is excellent, the rooms were comfortable. My only complaint was the pool and whirlpool/sauna. It was gruesome. Very strong smell of chlorine, full of children and parents and very dingy. Not the romantic getaway that we were hoping for (esp. since the rooms with Jacuzzi were all sold out. (Even if my daughter was with me. she would not have been allowed to play in the pool).” Jan 2, 2008 by
Gina from Fort Gratiot, MI
“There was some type of rumbling in the pipes around midnight. It sounded like a jack hammer- I had to call the front desk to find out if they had late night construction going on. It was hard to sleep. .” Dec 13, 2007 by
Edwin from Tucson, AZ
“The concierge wasn't keen on assisting me and showed me a black face on both days I sought their services. Disappointing to find that in such an upscale place. The diner's staff was much more helpful and accommodated to my request to use the internet past their closing time. Got a great view to the falls, unobstructed by other buildings in the area.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Mohmed from Scarborough, ON CA
“Very bad experience, no free calls, no DVD, no free water, I have traveled USA in many states for much cheaper value get better deals.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Nadine from Dresden, ON CA
“Hotel was nice, but at the end of the strip which made it inconvenient to get to local attractions in the winter. The pool area was nothing special and the whirlpool was not hot and the jets weren't strong. Overall, it was a nice stay, but would have preferred the Marriott next door.” Nov 29, 2007 by
Richard from Erie, PA
“Very little that we experienced was anything but positive. Clean, roomy, great staff, but at $22 plus per day to park in their lot, when right across the street was a lot that was $10 for all day, I was not happy when I was presented the bill for parking.” Nov 28, 2007 by
Kim from Greenfield Twp, PA
“We enjoyed our stay. No major issues at all. Just, like I said, the parking fee is way too high. I can't believe that a hotel that someone stays at could even ask for $20 a night.” Nov 28, 2007 by
Louise from Brighton, MI
“I doubt I'll request that star level again. The lobby was beautiful, but once past that, the rooms and facilities were just as nice at the 2 1/2 star Doubletree hotels. The pool wasn't very nice at all. The gym was nice. The restaurants and food was very expensive so we ate outside the hotel. All in all, I'd prefer not to stay at a Sheraton again.” Nov 26, 2007 by
Rebecca from San Antonio, TX
“When we checked in, we asked if we could please have a room with a view of the falls. The hotel was obviously not crowded, since it was the beginning of Thanks Giving week, and we told them we were celebrating our anniversary. We rarely go on trips alone without the kids and it would have been nice to have a view to enjoy. They told us it would be extra. We declined and were disappointed. Also, the hot tub was not working and was not even hot and the heated pool was cold. We did like the sauna, for the 5 minutes we could stand to be in there. Needless to say, we spent our time at other locations, i.e., the casino down the street and other attractions which were not related to the hotel. We were very disappointed.” Nov 25, 2007 by
Margot from Markham, ON CA
“The hotel was great with friendly staff and very clean rooms.” Nov 24, 2007 by
Jane from Hilton, NY
“Even though parking was high they suggested another parking lot for half price. The cost of food was crazy in Canada, not the hotels fault. Casino was fabulous but we still lost!” Nov 23, 2007 by
Linda from Bentonville, AR
“The first room on the 15th floor had no heat or air in it and the windows with a view of the falls below the 20th floor are filthy! I went to the desk the next morning to tell them about the heat/air problem. We were moved to a room on the other side of the hotel with a view of the top of a parking lot. (We had to pay extra for a dirty window view of the falls.) My friend then called the desk to tell them the new room was not acceptable and we would pay the extra amount for the view of the falls. This time we were treated like "it mattered." The hotel apologized for the room without air/heat and upgraded us to a room above the 20th floor. Now these are the rooms worthy of four stars! Windows were clean, air and heat worked! We still had to pay extra for the view, but oh how beautiful it was!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 15, 2007 by

“I was overall very pleased with the hotel and the price we paid.” Nov 14, 2007 by
Kailley from London, ON CA
“It was clean and gorgeous inside. The hotel staff could have been a bit friendlier but overall it was a good experience.” Nov 14, 2007 by
Judie from Richmond Hill, ON CA
“I think the hotel is wonderful and it is a great place to relax. It in the perfect location with regard to eating out. But I do believe the bed sheets should be changed every time the room is to be cleaned.” Nov 13, 2007 by
Teresa from Dunnville, ON CA
“This hotel is an excellent choice for couples or families. We really enjoyed our stay.” Nov 7, 2007 by
Corwyn from Raynham, MA
“The hotel is beautiful and the view of the falls and the light and firework show is incredible. The only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth is the down right petty nickel and dime charges. They couldn't afford to include internet access and parking. To compare, because our travel plans changed, we were able to go up a day early. We stayed at another local hotel (so you know the quality here wasn't anywhere near Sheraton) for the night and they could afford to give us "free" parking and internet access. Shame on Sheraton.” Nov 6, 2007 by
Jennifer from Sagamore Hills, OH
“The Sheraton falls view was beautiful. The lobby and public spaces were very nice and we upgraded to a falls view room and it was also gorgeous. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was nice and refreshing. The location is near the falls, but not entirely convenient. It is a medium length walk to get down the hill to the falls, but it was not a problem. Our only complaint was that the bed was not as comfortable as one would expect for a hotel of this class. The mattress was slightly hard and the pillows were not that great.” Nov 6, 2007 by
Judy from Orange Park, FL
“The room was wonderful, the beds were great. As I stated our waitress made our stay there memorable and is the main reason I would come back and recommend your hotel to everybody I know. She is a real asset to your hotel. All together we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back again.” Oct 23, 2007 by
Anita from Chicago, IL
“Best location on the street. A great view of the falls from the 2nd floor restaurant.” Oct 11, 2007 by
James from Annapolis, MD
“The hotel is very nice. Check-in was professional and uneventful. The pool and hot tub are nice and clean. The room was nicely decorated and included a mini-fridge. The lobby and common area was nice and the bellhop/concierge was both very good. The hotel has a $5 shuttle that hits most places in town. This is a nice service given the location of the hotel.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Gar from Natick, MA
“What a great hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Clean and roomy with a great view of the falls. Bed was one of the best I have slept on. Parking was a bit of a bummer. I parked in the parking next door and was a bit surprised to find that they did not even have a pedestrian walkway across a fairly busy road to the hotel.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Wendy from Cleveland, OH
“We did not like our stay at this hotel! We booked a king bed and we're given a room with 2 queen beds. Did not appreciate this since we went to celebrate our anniversary. The front desk staff was rude and not helpful at all. Nothing was complimentary. You had to pay for every little thing! Needless to stay we won't be back at the Sheraton and probably Niagara Falls for that matter.” Oct 9, 2007 by
Meg from Joliet, IL
“Excellent hotel, excellent service, comfy beds, fantastic views, the shuttle service for $5 per room per day was fantastic. Only downside was the parking fee of $20 was not mentioned up front. We have two kids and they had no problem giving us a room with two double beds and non smoking. Very accommodating and concierge was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!” Oct 8, 2007 by
Stephanie from Bradford, PA
“Once I got home I was charged $20 for parking and $4 for a bottle of water I was told I was not going to be charged for. None of the charges were on my final bill it was not till after I got home that I was charged.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Don from Smyrna, TN
“Overall, a very good hotel, friendly staff, and an awesome view of the falls.” Oct 6, 2007 by
Harry from Bedford, NH
“I enjoyed the hotel and the location. The staff was very helpful on tourist information and the location was good. Walking the hill to and from the "people mover" was very hard. You could have the hotel shuttle pick you up for an extra five dollars a day. They also wanted twenty dollars a day to park and did not tell us until check out that there was a fee.”
