  • Every employee was looking for a tip, you had to tip the valet even though you paid for this service.

“The only thing good about this hotel it its location. Except that, the staff is very unfriendly. When I went for check in the receptionist was very frowning and tried to give me a room in a lower floor though there were available rooms at higher floors. The room was non smoking and when we entered we found a strong smell of smoke. I had to pay $20 for wireless internet access which is free everywhere else. The information desk gave us wrong information about the shuttle schedule and when I went to talk to them They were very unfriendly and when I complained and asked to reach the manager they told me they will follow up and keep me informed but they did not call. The funny thing is that I found in my check out receipt a $20 fee for parking however I did not go there by car!”

  • The kids loved the swimming pool and slide was great. I liked the free shuttle.

  • In room Jacuzzi did not work, elevator was like a sauna.

“I expected better for a Hilton. The in room Jacuzzi did not work which was a big let down for my kids. Also the elevator to the North tower was like a sauna. Every time we rode up in it other guests beside me made the same comment.”

  • It was nicely decorated. The room was quite pleasing and great view from my guestroom. I will come back many times.
  • The restaurant and bar closes too early. The time could have been extended to 12:00 a.m.

The room was fabulous and nicely decorated with the most breathtaking view of the Casino and the Niagara falls. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.   • Room smelled Smokey even though it was "non smoking".

“Hotel was more than we expected! For an additional $30, we got a room on the 17th floor with a great view of the American falls and the Clifton Hill area. The pool was also spectacular! We normally stay at the Radisson and this was definitely an upgrade for us! Only negatives were the room smelled "smoky" even though it was supposedly a non smoking room. Also, clock was an hour and 10 minutes fast and housekeeping came up, had to get a screwdriver, and never returned. Other than that, would highly recommend!”

  • Cleanliness, room is spacious and friendly staff when we ordered room service.
  • Valet parking only, pool is not that cleaned- not heated enough for young children.

  • The 45 minute waits for my car to be brought down. It would have been longer had I not inquired as to its where about.

“I was a little disappointed at the stains on the carpet in my hotel room. It would not have taken much for it to have been cleaned. The overall experience was ok up until the point where we were kept waiting in the misting rain for 45 minutes waiting for my car to be brought down. My wife was steaming and I convinced her to simply get in rather than carving some one a new orifice. The only reason why it was only 45 minutes was because I finally cornered one of the attendants and asked what the hold up was. He checked and told me my car had been brought down a long time ago. I found it hidden on the ramp that went under the hotel. It was not visible from the front entrance where we were told to wait. A little communication would have gone a long way!”

  • Information desk empty most of the time, you cannot rely on the shuttle service.

“Information counter empty most of the time, the front desk not well informed, shuttle service never on time and takes you only to old casino. Plan on taking out your car more often than expected. Waterfall in pool was not working entire stay; maid service comes late in the afternoon to make up rooms. If you plan on eating at the front cafe, expect a bus load of visitors cutting through the restaurant. Great view of the falls fl 17-33. The bell/ valet and waiting staff excellent. it seems that the hotel caters to vip, executive class, not to the little man. In addition to room taxes you pay $11.00 advertisement fee for hotel daily. And $20.00 parking fee for your stay.”

  • The room was laid out backwards. The view of the falls was on the other side of the room.

“Parking was a bit congested upon arrival. After that minor issue all went well. The room was spacious and comfortable. As noted the TV was on the south wall, the bed on the north wall. If the layout were reversed then there would have been a view of the falls from the bed. The lights in the falls would have really been neat enjoying the view in the prone position.”

  • The suite was extremely spacious and clean.
  • Floors 12-16 are advertised "Falls view". We were on Floor 16 and could not see the Falls at all.

“The hotel was very nice and friendly. However, we expected to be able to see Niagara Falls from our "Falls view" hotel room on Floor 16. However, we could only see the mist from the falls rising above the parking garage to the Casino that obstructed our view. We were even on Floor 16, the highest of the "Falls view" floors. Good experience, but if you want to see the Falls from your room, stay somewhere else.”

“I got a king sized suite with a double Jacuzzi for my husband's birthday. I woke up with bug bites all over my body. When I went to complain, the counter staff sent me to the bar to wait for a security guard to take a statement. The hotel did not make a follow up call as I was told they should. When I called to speak to the manager, they told me they found no bugs, and that they were not going to offer any recompense. I was very upset.”

  • No family oriented restaurant, but room service was good.

“I would rate this a class A hotel. The door person helped us take our bags out of the car and our luggage was brought up to our room. Our car was parked for us and this was a great. With having a kid it made our stay great. The rooms were big and comfortable. The views were spectacular. Overall we didn't want to leave. The price was a bit out of what we would normally pay for a hotel, but it was worth the extra money. The location was great also. We could walk to just about anywhere. Our family had a wonderful experience. My husband and I are thinking of coming back for our 25th wedding anniversary. We just celebrated our 20th this year. Thanks again.”

  • Shuttle service was started a bit late? 10:30 am most attractions started at 9:00 am time didn't make sense.

Valet parking was not necessary and they did not advise of that, we could have parked our own vehicle and saved 10/day would have appreciated the opportunity to know this and make the decision if we go back again (which we will) would probably stay at a lower priced facility and do other things in the area.   • The first room had a filthy badly stained carpet and the maps from the concierge are not correct.

“While the location is good, the rooms are tired and dingy. Our first room had a filthy stained carpet. When I requested a clean room we were upgraded to a room with a view of the falls.   • Filthy yes filthy carpeting . . . I was told that the carpet would be replaced and the bellboy apologized - but it was actually gross!

  • The Hilton tours were overpriced compared to the regular tours you could buy on the street.

“This is the best hotel in Niagara falls, it does not matter if you get a room with a view of the falls unless you are going to be in your room a lot. We were not. Make sure that you eat at the falls view restaurant at the top of the hotel. Make reservations before you get there. Do not eat at Cousin Vinny's Italian restaurant, it was horrible with lousy service. Every thing you need is within walking distance of the hotel and they will valet your car for you or let you park it for only $20 bucks. If you are only staying one night they will let you keep your car and baggage their until you decide you have had enough of the falls. The rooms are incredible with the best beds in Niagara!! Stay here it is worth the money!!”
