• Staff was very friendly at check in. Very child friendly. Great pool area and craft room!
• On the weekend pool was great but on weekday was not as clean and no towels for the entire am.

“Restaurant looked nice and was family friendly. Great convenience store on site, open early and closed late. Pool and kids craft area great for families with little ones. Very clean hotel.”

• I like the pool and workout facilities. The room was also comfortable and had a small kitchenette included.

“A very family friendly hotel. It was geared toward children. The service (i.e. room service, clean up etc.) was a bit slow because the hotel was busy during the time.”

• Nice restaurant.
• Leaky air conditioner, electrical shorts in lamps, dirty bathroom, low quality bedding, cramped spaces.

“I was disappointed with the size and quality of room. I have stayed at 1 star roadside motels that were of similar quality.”

• Pool facilities, art room for the children.

“A great hotel. When I called to confirm the room with the hotel, I was told that we could not occupy the room with more than one child. Luckily, when we got there, they did not enforce this. If they did we would have been stuck.”

• Spacious room, balcony, great Downtown location, nice bar and restaurant.
• Room was too hot, no control for heat, no way to circulate air, had to prop balcony door open to cool room.

“Nice facility Downtown Ottawa. Close to the Market district. 5 minutes cab ride or less to Winterlude activities, restaurants and Rideau Canal. Nice view of Parliament buildings from 18th floor lounge and bar.”

• The beds were very comfortable and room well appointed.
• Both beds were 3/4 size making it impossible to sleep together and room a little small.

“I enjoyed the stay at the delta as it is user friendly and the beds extremely comfortable but ensure you ask for the queen size bed as the 3/4 beds are too small for two. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend the delta to anyone staying in downtown Ottawa.”

• Beautiful lobby, very quiet rooms.
• Parking is very expensive.

“The lobby and rooms are very nice, however if you want to avoid the $18 parking charge, your only option is to park in one of the adjacent outdoor lots or try and find street parking (good luck). The location is nice, and if not for the parking issue I would rate this hotel a 10!”

“Exceptional location, large suite rooms. It is aging, clearly but gracefully. Very helpful staff and nice facilities. Only gripe is cost of parking, an average bathroom and some times a wait for the elevator. Suite had two TVs and a view of the river from the attached balcony.”

• Swimming pool and water tube are good for kids.
• Parking is expensive.

“Location is good. Parking is expensive. Swimming pool and water tube are good for kids. However one room with only one queen bed is not good for travel with kids. Room clean and staff is friendly.”
