• The pool area is wonderful and very relaxing.
• Our room was very loud at night.

“This is a wonderful hotel with a great convenient location to all the downtown activities. The pool and spa area are excellent, and the rest of the hotel looks really great with some cool personality. Oh and the bed and bedding are super comfortable. I've been here before and have always enjoyed my stay. But this last trip I found we could hear lots of noise from the rest of the hotel in our room, especially at night. It was a bit uncomfortable because of that. I haven't experienced that level of discomfort at the Armories before and think we simply got a lower end room this time. Overall, a great hotel in a great location, just make sure you aren't on the second floor.”

“Would recommend to my friends. The only negative comment I have is that either the walls are thin or the people in the hallway talk way too loud, plus slammed their doors too heavily in the early morning and late at night.”

“The Delta Armories is a centrally located upscale and unique hotel in London's downtown core. It's ideal for business travelers, families and romantic get a ways. The hotel has a nice mini museum, pool, gym, hot tube, sauna, lockers, and kids play area. Hotel has an excellent atrium type restaurant/bar located on site and offers a weekend brunch to boast about. Excellent place to stay in comfort and relax in when visiting London Ontario Canada.”

• Beautifully maintained classic downtown hotel.

“The Delta London Armouries Hotel is a wonderfully maintained classic old downtown hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and charming. The lunch we had at the hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and of very high quality. The hotel is perfectly situated for any downtown business a guest might have. There is a parking fee, but it is quite a bit less if a guest self-parks.”

• There was lots to do in the area the hotel was in.
• Bed was not that comfortable and room decor was dated.

“It was ok, but the mattress was not that comfortable and the parking was a block away. So I don't think for myself that I would like to stay here again.”

“Both rooms showed their age and need to be remodeled. The mattresses were very old and needed to be replaced, you could feel every spring and my back ached in the morning. I expected a better quality room from the Delta.”

• Concierge failed to explain parking, and thus we overpaid.

“The hotel is very nice. The room we stayed in was obviously the lower scale of the rooms that they offer, however, it was still more than adequate to suit the needs of my wife and I. The room was fitted with what they refer to as 2 queen sized beds but they seemed to me more a kin to 2 doubles. Other than that, the room and the hotel itself was very clean and pleasant. The pool area was also nice as it had a small swimming pool and a hot tub.”

• The staff was fairly accommodating.
• The room was pretty torn up for a Delta class hotel.

“Torn up carpet. Crack in bathroom near toilet. Crack in sink. Mold on shower knob. Ancient, dirty fridge. Vanity light burned out in bathroom. Torn wallpaper in bathroom. Closet smelled like fish first day. Ambulance service a block from hotel.”

• Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Location was great and lobby was quite presentable.
• The hotel rooms themselves were slightly outdated and not modern. Stark contrast to lobby.

• Every room is different so you never know what your going to end up with.

• Unique building - armory originally built in 1905. A few historic archives and pictures in the common areas were interesting to me.
• Breakfast buffet food quality mediocre and food was cold. Parking a big problem at this property location when sold out.

“Hotel did not meet expectations with respect to food quality, general cleanliness and cleanliness of room. Location of the hotel was excellent but parking was a challenge. Hotel staff by and large was very friendly and helpful. This property needs a major remodel. Pullout bed was a joke.”

• The Delta always makes you feel important, like you are their only guest that they need to please.
• Sorry there is nothing that I did not like.

• Jacuzzi still not working wasn't working in February when we stayed there still not working now!

“I thought this hotel was a 2 star at best because they haven't fixed the Jacuzzi! I stayed at the hotel in February and the whirlpool was not working properly then but when it takes over two months to fix!?! A whirlpool has to be hot this one was not! I think the management staff has to pull up the socks.”

• Great adaptive reuse of old architecture incorporated into a new building.
• Ugly old fashioned print pattern comforters/bed covers.

“This is a lovely surprise in a contemporary Downtown full of unremarkable high-rise architecture. The hotel tower is planted in the middle of a historic armory building that houses the restaurant, bar and pool area, with guest rooms on the lower floors of the tower opening into this vaulted atrium. Rooms were well appointed and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and our toddler during our stay.”

• Lack of free parking for hotel guests.

“Upgraded ourselves to the club floor for $50 - definitely worth it! We had access to a private lounge with free beer, wine & snacks and a free deluxe continental breakfast. It also got us a quiet room away from the many hockey teams that had taken over London!”

• It was not the first time I had challenges with the internet.

“I enjoy the Delta. Some feedback for the valet service. When I checked out I had a very large suitcase and my computer bag. There were three team members standing at the valet desk. I was handed my keys. No one opened a door for me. As I got my suitcase out to my car parked in front of the hotel a stranger walking by helped my put it in my car.”

• The location of our room was noisy and the pull out bed horribly uncomfortable for my son.

• We lost power in the middle of the night for several hours which was inconvenient when trying to shower etc.

• The cost of beer being brought to your room.

“My husband and I stayed here for the first and found it amazing. The staff even though very young overall was excellent. There was a major hockey tournament with fewer than 17 year olds all staying at the hotel at the same time and that made things very busy but the service was impeccable. We would def. stay here again and recommend it to anyone passing through.”

• They always make me feel important and that their job is to make my stay happy and comfortable.
• The front desk made an error on our check in, had us down for 1 night instead of 2 that I had purchased so we did not get housekeeping on the 2nd day.

“We have stayed many times since the early 90's and will continue to go, there are usually no problems, and this visit was an exception. However after I mentioned the problems with room etc, they promised to make it "right" on my next stay.”
