“Not very clean at all! Our stay was awful. With all the teams having a party, it was so hard to sleep. My children wanted to leave. I would recommend this for teams only, not families as they would be disappointed like we were. The staff was not helpful at all. The housekeepers themselves, didn't look like they too happy about working here. I will not stay here again!” Aug 7, 2008 by
Karen from Chatham, ON CA
“The room was alright but needs to be updated I think. The bathroom seemed a bit small. The door to enter the hotel didn't have a bar on the inside to push on to get out just the small end of it didn't seem all that secure and safe.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Chris from Bowmanville, ON CA
“The staff was very courteous and helped with all and every need we had. The rooms were great and very clean. Highly recommended!” Jul 26, 2008 by
Lynne from Azilda, ON CA
“I would recommend this hotel for its location and cleanliness; fast check-in and check-out. - Helpful staff.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Janet from Canton, MI
“Basic, clean and recently updated hotel with a very pleasant staff. Perfect location for our needs and the Boston Pizza next door was very good.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Ashley from Sarnia, ON CA
“This hotel was clean, the rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly & the outdoor pool was wonderful!” Jul 22, 2008 by
Lilian from Edmonds, WA
“Days Inn London is fine if you're just looking for reasonably priced, very basic accommodations. The rooms are small but have all the amenities you need. TV, Wi-Fi, coffee maker etc. Some things in our room were in need of repair (broken chair and the door lock was very hard to disengage). Outdoor pool was fine but small and the area got quite rowdy in the early evening with lots of people hanging out by the pool and drinking/smoking outside their rooms.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Jazz from Oakville, ON CA
“Basic clean place to lay your head. Good location. Walk to restaurants and mall.” Jul 14, 2008 by
Aaron from Sterling Heights, MI
“Great price. Very loud at night due to nearby road. Had to wait at counter at check-in and check-out because there was only one receptionist and they were on the phone both times.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Josh from Windsor, ON CA
“Honestly, we were really impressed with the room. The room had 2 beds, mini-fridge and a microwave. They didn't even have those at the Hilton. Plus, free wireless internet. The best part was the location (across from White Oaks Mall), near many restaurants and close to downtown. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.” May 29, 2008 by
Mary from Kingston, ON CA
“Okay, good location, no extras that would make me want to go back.” May 1, 2008 by
Beryl from Loudonville, NY
“Song, the young man who checked us in, was very helpful and pleasant. The twice the rooms we were given were unacceptable. It appeared that the staff had made the beds with queen sized sheets rather than king sheets that would fit the bed. We know from experience that we would have been sleeping on the mattress long before morning. Song was terrific and finally gave us an "upgrade" to a newly renovated room. Then the room was fine but the halls were not clean and the door from the parking lot was not working properly and could not be locked without pulling it extra hard. Most people did not do that and therefore we felt uncomfortable being somewhat unsafe. I would not stay here again.” May 1, 2008 by
Lee E. from Fowlerville, MI
“First impressions are not great at the Days Inn. The building is older and the reception desk area is very loud due to an open floor plan with a restaurant. Trying to check in with all the noise was difficult. They had us drive to door three in the back and the parking lot was gross. All the garbage bins were full and over flowing, there was construction material everywhere, and cigarette buts covering the sidewalk. At this point I was very worried! However, when we arrived in our room it was beautiful. It was recently remodeled and smelled like paint. We weren't happy with the fumes, so I spoke with the front desk about it. They were completely booked due to the reconstruction and couldn't move us to another room. They did offer to spray the room with an odor neutralizer and open a vent in the air conditioner so it drew in fresh air. It seemed to work and our room did air out. All in all, it was a nice stay and we were conveniently located to everything we needed. I would stay there again, especially for the price.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Lilly from Gormley, ON CA
“We were disappointed with the mess on the floor that we were assigned however after requesting a change of floors and rooms, we were promptly given a renovated room on a different floor. I think they should not have guests on the floor that was being renovated to begin with as it was dusty and noisy with discarded furniture throughout the hallway. We were traveling with a group of 17 (5 rooms) and we wanted to be on the same floor so we were all placed on the floor that was being renovated. The good news is that they did move us all when we complained.” Mar 4, 2008 by
Brian from Atlanta, GA
“Decent accommodations. It should be very nice when the construction is complete. The restaurant food was good and their employees were extremely nice, helpful, and professional. The housekeepers were very professional and extremely helpful when I needed things because airport security took things from my luggage. I thought the price was a little higher than it should have been for this hotel but the location was convenient for the activities I had planned and I would stay there again.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Susan from Chatham, ON CA
“It was clean. The bed was comfortable. Fridge and microwave were added bonus.” Feb 18, 2008 by
Patti from Sarnia, ON CA
“It would be worth locking back door at night. Unsafe. Inviting burglary.” Jan 30, 2008 by
Erin from Parry Sound, ON CA
“The staff were helpful and accommodating. It was quiet, clean and warm.” Jan 16, 2008 by
Tiffany from Chatham, ON CA
“The rooms need to be revamped major.” Dec 12, 2007 by
Dan from Waterloo, ON CA
“The Day's Inn in south London Ontario greatly exceeded my expectations. For the price, all I expected was the basics bed and bath and at a decent location. We got this of course and more. The room was practically big enough to play football in (certainly plenty of room for a cot or crib), all the facilities were clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. Other perks that I would not expect from a hotel at this price were free (and fast) wireless internet, a decent in hotel restaurant, and complimentary toiletry stuff like razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, etc. (this came in quite handy since the airlines lost our luggage). The location was quite convenient right off highway 401 but not exactly romantic or in the center of Downtown. I would highly recommend this place to any business travelers or thrifty vacationers going to or through London, on.” Dec 10, 2007 by
Arnold from Goderich, ON CA
“Good value for money, but maintenance of the building and personal choice options for customers can improve.” Nov 14, 2007 by
Shelley from Brantford, ON CA
“We were here for a hockey tournament. The room was very basic and the hotel is showing its wear and tear. It was fine for a one night stay!” Nov 14, 2007 by
Shawna from Chatham, ON CA
“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel was outdated and the bed was uncomfortable.” Oct 30, 2007 by
Craig from Elliot Lake, ON CA
“Room stunk they only furbished it they would not change room the staff smokes outside the room.” Oct 29, 2007 by
Seth from Berkley, MI
“The hotel was ok. It was very dark inside and could use a good cleaning.” Oct 27, 2007 by
Janice from Chatham, ON CA
“This hotel was okay.” Oct 15, 2007 by
Tom from Adrian, MI
“This hotel did not come close to meeting the minimum requirement of a 2 star hotel room. The hotel was very old and rooms showed it. Bed uncomfortable and old. Shower had mold. Window lacked a curtain that covered the window therefore allowing window allowing people to look in.” Sep 28, 2007 by
Jeff from Harrow, ON CA
“The Hotel was fine - met our expectations.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Marc from Temiscaming, CA
“We were very unhappy with our stay at the London Days Inn. The rooms were sub-standard, old and in rough shape. There were parties going on all weekend on site (indoors and outdoors) until very late at night and the hotel staff did nothing about it. (Softball tournament teams). We did not manage to get at least one good night sleep and we were there 4 nights. We asked for upgrades and to be moved in a different (newer part of the hotel) and were not accommodated. In any other situation I would have been refunded my money and moved on to a better place. Again, very unhappy with this hotel and the overall experience.” Aug 17, 2007 by
August from Hilton, NY
“Hotel was not a very nice hotel. We feel we paid for a hotel and were deceived.” Jul 12, 2007 by
Suzanne from Beamsville, ON CA
“I was very surprised with the great quality of this hotel. I have stayed at many Days Inns and this one is the best by far.” Jul 9, 2007 by
Maureen from Millbury, MA
“This Day's Inn has not been updated in 30 years. It is run down and dirty. We did not feel comfortable or relaxed in this hotel.” Jun 13, 2007 by
Georeg from Palm Beach Shores, FL
“Everything was as we expected and across from large mall and great restaurants in the area. Outside pool in a courtyard but have to make early reservations for inside room to the pool but no problem from other rooms except no view.” Jun 7, 2007 by
Willie from Buffalo, NY
“I was there for the Ontario master's track & field meet @ the university. Of western Ontario. The hotel was located on the Wellington shopping strip & only 15 minutes from the track stadium. I enjoyed the room & the staff was friendly.” Apr 27, 2007 by
Rich from Newburgh, NY
“Too expensive for what it was. Nicer places to stay right in the area that are newer. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was right across the street from a mall!” Feb 2, 2007 by
Kathy from Niagara Falls, ON CA
“We stayed at a Hilton in December and this was a far better motel. Ruby our receptionist was helpful and very pleasant. The cleaning lady was so polite. The room was self heat controlled and we didn't get overly warm or excessively cold. I will definitely be visiting again.”
