• Bad management; hotel has seen better days.

“Some bonehead on the management team of this hotel agreed to let a business student conference have a disco to wrap up their conference. The disco started at 11 pm on a Sunday night in January of this year. We were on business with meetings first thing Monday morning and then a drive to Red Deer right after. Despite complaints from midnight to 2 am, no one shut the disco down. The bass resonated throughout the hotel making it impossible to sleep or even watch television. At 2.15 I threatened to call the police and the music stopped 5 minutes later. While I received a reduction on my room rate, it did not compensate for the lack of sleep and increase in stress. Any hotel management that would go along with this deserves what it will get from me - no return business. There are too many other well runs hotels in Lethbridge. The hotel has also gone downhill since its early days and needs a makeover and renovation - in the buildings and in management.”
