• It was a convenient location.
• It was being renovated.

“The hotel was being renovated which we were not told about, we could not use the balcony as it was covered with scaffolding and the main lobby and public areas of the hotel we not very usable. The hotel really needs a renovation as parts of it are quite run down, so it will be good once it is completed, but it would of been nice to have been told about this in advance, for the price that we paid i do not feel the hotel was worth it.”

• Very poor condition overall.

“My room was updated, but overall the hotel is a dump. Earlier it mentioned updating, it is still going on. Elevator opened onto other floors that smelled like a college dorm room.”

• Its a little older but clean, staff friendly and helpful.
• Coffee maker did not work .Was not too happy but price was what i was looking for.

• Good Location.
• Not clean at all.

“If you stay here make sure to have a renovated room. The bed almost tipped over when I sat on the end. The rooms were not sound proof at all. The bathroom was dirty the whole time we stayed there. The staff was friendly enough and the location is good being close to restaurants and shopping. Definitely wouldn't stay there again though.”

• Staff that helped bring in our cot was very friendly and helpful - it was also nice having a restaurant on site.
• Very negative experience with one of the front desk clerks, she was very rude and comments were not called for.

“The hotel in general was fine; the room was pretty clean and neat. The only negative experience was one of the front desk clerks, who were very rude, and not very helpful. This happened at check in, so it was very disappointing. They may need to consider sending their staff, who is dealing directly with the public, to a customer service seminar in order that they treat guests with respect and are able to help them in any situation.”

• Kid friendly, staff was accommodating.
• Not very clean, dated.

“Stayed in a renovated room which was ok. Requested the bedding to be changed and it wasn't plus there were crackers on the floor which weren't from us and were there the full time we stayed there and I told the front desk about them too. The hours of the waterslides were not long enough especially for people who have other things to do while in Edmonton. I would recommend opening the water park earlier and staying open later. I won't stay there again.”

• The beds were very comfortable it was so nice to have a great nights sleep.
• Found left over garbage from previous guest nest to the bed and found it to need a little more cleaning, was a cleaner myself.

“We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was in a good location and had all the amenities right on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is still under upgrades, but can see the improvements in progress. Sure will be a more upscale look inside, hope they do some outside as well. Will stay there again and tell family and friends to go as well. Thanks for the great stay.”

• Room on the 6th floor was completely renovated, new furniture, great staff. Water park was ok.
• Hotel is not completely renovated, lots of fix-ups needed, small elevators with dirty carpet.

“We noticed other floors were not remodeled and needed lots of fix-ups. Elevators are small with dirty carpet. Water park had lifeguards, nice but, is getting old.”

• Close to a restaurant.
• TV cabinet had broken door, toilet had broken handle, Hard to find based on address vs. street label.

“Room cleanliness OK, but broken things listed above indicate employees don't check these things. Lobby being refurbished, but ceilings had cracks and water damage. Gives a shabby appearance. Elevators small.”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Service was horrible, dirty rooms, terrible sleep.

“Worst hotel ever stayed in. We had problems with the cleaning staff being extremely rude. So we spoke to the manager about it....he couldn't have cared less, he hardly said a word to us and just stared at us like we were stupid. It was noisy all night and the worst sleep I have ever had. They say they have an 8000 sq foot water park...well the room it's in might have been that large but the pool is at most 500 sq feet and that's including the hot tub and the landing from the worn down slides. The room were not clean at all...I didn't even want to take off my shoes. After one night we decided to check out and found another hotel. This hotel is great if you want to waste 100 dollars a night and to be treated like you're nothing more than a speck of dirt. Worst hotel ever if you see any good reviews DO NOT believe them!!!!!
