• I loved the room decor and the comfy beds & staff.
• Nothing, I can say Loved it.

“Well this was start of our Holiday to Mexico and we were greeted very well at reception, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are fantastic, very comfy and so clean. House service was excellent as I had forgotten my razor and one was brought up within minutes. Check out was also very friendly, especially at 4 am. Well worth staying here.”

• Convenience to all major routes and the airport.
• There was lots of garbage left in hallways (trays, beer cans, etc.).

“The hotel was pleasant enough but we didn't get the room we reserved. We were moved twice before we got what we asked for.”

• The room we stayed in was quite nice, but the room our friends stayed in was quite a bit older.
• The hotel felt older, some rooms were quite out-of-date.

“Some hotel rooms were renovated, but others felt older & tired. The food in the restaurant was good, but pricey for families.”

• Complimentary airport shuttle.

“Each time I have felt I paid a fair price until my stay at the Holiday Inn Airport in Calgary. The room was dirty, tired looking and uncomfortable from the minute we opened the door.”

• It was along my intended tour.
• There were no severe negatives at this hotel.

“This is an older but refurbished hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. It fits well into the short stay at moderate cost. And has indoor pool, restaurant and bar on site. This was a very good value for money spent.”

• The hot tub and pool were very clean.
• There is a big difference between the remodeled and un-remodeled rooms.

“One room looked like it had recently been remodeled. It had modern furniture, an in-room refrigerator and microwave, and everything looked new and clean. The other room, right down the hall, had old furniture, peeling wallpaper and mold in the bathroom, and no refrigerator or microwave. Be sure to call the hotel and request one of the renovated rooms!”

• Wonderful view from the 5th floor.
• Windows are guide dirty. Bed uncomfortable.

“Our overall stay was quite pleasant. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Meals in the restaurant were excellent.”

• Clean, good hours for pool etc, convenient location.
• Lousy service in restaurant, no complimentary breakfast, no sign giving directions from airport's exit road.

“This Holiday Inn express had a friendly desk staff, clean rooms, enough pillows, and then some, computer connections should we have wanted them. The bathroom felt small, especially since the sink was unusable when somebody else was showering. The restaurant's wait staff was inadequate the evening we were there, but I understand that the next morning, the problem was corrected.”

• The staff is efficient and friendly and the room is spacious.
• The bathroom is adequate but could be upgraded with tiles instead of tub surround.

“The staff of the hotel is friendly, helpful and efficient. The pool and exercise room was a good surprise. The Hotel is close to the Airport and close to shopping centers and cinemas. It is also convenient for the major highways east and west. The hotel was of good quality for a good price.”

• Staff too busy to bring a comb to my room had to go to front desk, where 3 staff was "chatting".

“Decent hotel close to airport. Good exercise room and pool. Wanted to watch baseball game on TV in the bar but smoking was allowed so spayed in and got room service. Service was prompt, food marginal.”

• The location was good.
• It was noisy, the staff wasn't friendly and the room service was very poor.

“When we first entered the hotel it appeared nice, but the staff wasn't helpful or polite, there was noise up and down the hallway all night, people even banging on the door and the restaurant completely messed up our breakfast room service order and refused to make amends. There was me, my husband and our 19 year old child; we stayed at the Hyatt the night before and wished we could have extended our stay there instead. The beds were awful as well both me and my husband had horrid backaches the next day.”

• Whole hotel smelt like smoke, beds very uncomfortable.

“A two star hotel at best, the beds were hard as a rock. Service at the bar/lounge took forever, about 20 min to even be acknowledged and we were sitting across from the bar.”

• Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Good amount of furniture and bar area. Clean and updated bathroom. High speed internet included.
• Shampoo and soap were not the best quality. A/c-heat unit was a little loud.

“I was very disappointed with regard to the Holiday Inn. They pretty much did nothing with regard to accommodating me until I put up a fight. I would never stay there again and this experience may cause me to never stay at another Holiday Inn.”

• No desk and chair, insufficient air conditioning.

“Very difficult to get to and from the hotel from the major roadway. Very poor parking and small - car is likely to get dinged. No working desk & chair. Just a two-drawer dresser. It was hotter in the room than it was outdoors - noisy window A/C unit that did not cool the room. I've seen better Motel 6s. No closet, just a shelf and a clothes pole under it. Tiny bathroom had to contort myself between the tub and commode just to open/close the door from inside the WC. Definitely not worth.”

“The hotel was in the process of being renovated. The outside looked very nice - newly done. The inside was older but in very good condition. The beds and bedding, towels, etc. Were good.”

• The staff was very friendly, pool area was very clean and rooms were tidy and well maintained. Great movie selections!
• Food was pretty greasy and the gym area is in need of revamping, bathroom and bedspreads should be updated.

“^I really enjoyed my stay here, prices were appropriate; staff was very friendly and accommodating, great for along week-end, though you may want to rent a car if you stay longer then a few days.”

• The size of the washroom.

“Overall, the holiday inn was a comfortable hotel. I found the washroom to be a little small for my taste but otherwise, the room had everything I needed for my stay. The lobby was very well decorated and the pool/fitness area was also very enjoyable during my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in Calgary and needs to be close to the airport.”

• Rooms were beautiful, staff was great, loved this hotel.
• Large tarp covering window (construction) made it impossible to cool off.

“This hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are decorated beautifully. Plasma TV, small kitchen with granite through out bath and kitchen. Lobby, halls ect are very clean and well designed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.”

• Lots of pillows (recent knee surgery, so appreciated extra support) also, a newspaper at our door in the morning.
• Nothing.

“Very clean, friendly staff (willing to give us directions to long term airport parking) very quiet. We were there new year's eve and heard absolutely no partying. We enjoyed the complementary newspaper as that gave us something to read at the airport. Appreciated the 2 queen sized beds with lots of pillows. Didn't need other amenities (such as toothbrush), but nice the know they are available.”
