• Some rooms.
• Bad customer service, invisible manager, and there was no cooperation.

“The worst stay ever. Room was not ready as promised. When we got in, it was a smoking room (asked for non-smoking); AC did not work, they refused to relocate. Manager was non-existent; we could not talk to him/her. Was threaten by security when asking to get in contact with Manager at night. Relocated us after constant complaining. Desk supervisor promised a credit, but manager denied it. Left message for manager; never got a call. Will never recommend.”

“The receptionist did her best to accommodate our needs by reassigning our booking to a non-smoking room which turned out to be a room suite with two bathrooms.”

• Location and cleanliness are good.
• The attitude of staff is not friendly.

“On the second day, there was no internet. The staff failed to give me a good explanation. They hung up the phone, and refused to tell me her name.”

• Really nothing.
• For the price, it was just a terrible value.

“This hotel was very disappointing. It lacked amenities, and everything in the room seemed cheap. You could tell the were running on a budget and skimped on toiletries, lighting, coffee etc. The halls were dark and the whole place had a bad ambiance. There was no water pressure in the shower and the shower could not be regulated. Never again will I stay at a Clarion.”

• Ceiling paint falling off in our bathroom.

• Location and area.
• Not up to Ontario standards, extension cords with lamps unplugged, minimal toiletries.

“Friendly, poorly organized for breakfast, well below Ontario standards. No posting of rates or emergency exits.”

• Beautiful room. Swimming pool.
• You do need a car to get around.

“Ideally located for easy access to the historic district of Quebec. Friendly staff, and great rooms. Perfect for the price.”

• Close to freeway.
• Dumpy room, noisy.

“This property has seen better days and is in need of reinvestment. Decidedly down market but close to the freeway off ramp and bus service to the old city of Quebec.”

• Had everything. Pool, small store, and breakfast available.
• Though there were three lamps in the room, it was still dark.

“The Clarion hotel was a fine place to visit Quebec from. We preferred staying outside of the city and the free parking was nice to have. It was easy to get into and out of Quebec for the day. Our room is exactly what you would expect from a Clarion, so we were certainly satisfied with the place. If in the area, we would stay there again. Breakfast buffet was $11.45 for the hot buffet. They had a very nice variety and a great staff serving!”

• Room was comfortable & met my expectations.
• A wedding party in one of the halls kept me awake till midnight. I called the front desk to complain and nothing was done about the noise.

“It was a nice hotel however, they did not serve supper and I had to find a restaurant elsewhere. There was a wedding reception going on downstairs below my room and kept me awake until midnight. I had to drive another 8 hours the next day, and I was very tired. When I called the front desk, I was not offered another room.”

• Good parking-reasonable-easy to find-nice staff.
• Older carpeting & soft goods-small swimming pool.

“It was easy to find and get in and out of. Nice staff, helpful with directions etc. Good parking. Safe location, don't worry about going outside at night. Comfortable beds, but older decorating and carpeting took away from the whole experience.”

• The staffs are very warm and the room is quite big.
• Little bit too dark.

• Friendly Staff.
• Smell horrible, too far from Quebec old town.

“I have stayed there in June 2006. I had the 615 number room, and it smelled horrible, like humidity, imagine if you left your towel dunked like seven days. The staff was ok, and they changed my room in the first floor, and the second one smell better, but the alarm clock didn't work because it was too old (I think that am/fm alarm clock was 20 years old, and I'm not kidding'). If you travel for visiting Quebec, is not good, because is too far from the hotel (like 5 miles) and if you want to walk away, it's difficult because you are in the mettle of the highways and avenues. If I were you I could change the Hotel near by Quebec old town.”
