• Elevators were very quick to respond.
• Room was small and the bathroom was so small that you banged your knee on the wall when using toilet.

• The atmosphere was relaxing, but classy.
• There was nothing I did not like.

“We really enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were all friendly, helpful, and concerned about their guests. It showed in every way. The rooms were comfortable and offered many amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer!”

• Location.
• Parking was expensive. Stairways were ugly. Long wait for elevators.

• Great location.
• Rooms were not clean, found last person's belonging on floor, phones in suite did not work.

• Great location and
  right on the strip.
• Room was really small, (size of a small bedroom).

“Since we were there on March Break we received free tickets for Adventure City fun house, SWAT bus, mini golf and bumper cars. This was a great savings and a fun way to spend time.”

• Good location, within walking distance to everything.
• Elevators were extremely slow, the pool was not working and we were not notified at check in.

“The hotel was clean and staff was friendly enough, but the room was very small, although beds were pretty comfortable, the elevators were extremely slow and the stairs were not convenient. The pool was closed.”

• When we walked into the hotel, Crowned Plaza in Naigara falls, Canada. All we could say was wow, it was an amazing place.

“I called in once, if I could get a king size bed with a view. The girl over the phone said she would put in a request and I received what I had asked for.”

• Everything was superb.
• The swimming pool was in repair status & we had to go 2 buildings away to use their pool and it was over crowded!

• After many requests we were put in a room larger than a closet.
• The room was tiny, with a double bed.

“The initial room was the size of a walk in closet. The room was not large enough for a couple, not really large enough for a business traveler. After 2 requests, at 10:30pm, we had a room with 2 beds. The room was beautiful & had a view of the falls. We have had this reaction in the past but were always provided with a room that was large enough for either 2 of us or our family. We have also been treated with the utmost respect & consideration at other establishments. In the end I felt that the staff was eventually accommodating, but, under great duress.”

• Great location to downtown area.
• To get to the parking lot, people have to change the elevator leading to the lot.

“I liked the geographic location of the hotel, but it is sometimes confusing to change the elevator two times to get to the parking lot. It is really inconvenient to carry luggage in and out of the parking lot. The room I stayed had no cold water and no bath tub.”

“We had a fantastic view of the Falls but had a problem with the airconditioner in our room. They upgraded us at no extra charge to a larger room with a Jacuzzi and an even better view. They were wonderful and very friendly. We want to go back someday.”

• The view of the falls was spectacular.
• We called the front desk and we were charged $1.25 & were charged for 2 days of parking at $10 per day.

• They made very obvious efforts to make this teeny tiny room as luxurious as possible.
• Room was very tiny. Only one person could be in there; views of the parking garage & a rooftop.

“This is obviously an old hotel and every effort has been made to modernize without losing it's old world charm. Luxury and comfort seems to be the focus, with a warm, friendly staff. It's location is ideal for most of the sites and attractions.”

• The location of this hotel is BRILLIANT! I would stay there again just based on location!
• The room is extremely small and is not very modern.

“This hotel is fine if you don't plan on spending time in the room. The location of this hotel could not be better! The falls is a 1 block walk from the front door and the shopping, site seeing, clubs and casino is all within a very short walk. I wouldn't eat at the hotel restaurant. The food is over priced for what you would expect.”

• The pool was broken and the rooms were small.

“The first room I had 1 bed for 4 people they gave us a cot the next night they moved us to a room with 2 beds. The room was small and the elevators were old and slow. The whole hotel was very old and not worth the money. No way is this a 3 star hotel.”

• Proximity to everything in the Niagara falls area.
• We changed rooms after 1st 2 nights due to air quality and bathroom problems.

“We had air conditioning problems, water problems in our bathroom and the pool was closed due to a leak. We were given a different room after 2 nights because they were unable to fix the problem. The room that we were moved to was wonderful. Although the bathrooms were very small in both rooms.”

“Slow but friendly front desk. Clean room but tiny. Room was very clean and the location of this hotel is ideal. Loved the "sleep kit" that they provided - relaxing CD, sleep mask, earplugs and linen spray.”

• Had elegant old world charm.
• Very small room. Plumbing was old, gave off a bad smell in bathroom.

“The Good: Elegant, old world charm. Clean, great location across the street from the falls and a block away from the main strip. Away from the hustle and bustle. Friendly staff. The Bad: The room was literally 10x10 with a little hallway and small bathroom. The closet should not even be considered a closet. It was like a little alcove with a pole to hang your clothes. I expected the room to be small but this was ridiculous. My husband had to squeeze through the bed and dresser to get to his side. This was not the worse of it. The plumbing is very old and every time we flushed the toilet, the most disgusting smell would come up. We spent 4 nights in a cramp room that smelled like a cesspool. It was horrible. Overall, we were disappointed. The hotel was pretty, but not worth the cramped room and bad smell. The best western a few blocks down was a lot nicer and a lot cheaper. Oh, and speaking of the view, we had a nice view of the parking garage. It was so depressing we kept the shades closed the whole time.”
