• It was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
• No smoking in rooms.

“I found it to be very clean and spacious, the rooms were well kept and I liked that there was new plates, pots & pans and the place was overall very clean. We would recommend it to anyone.”

“I was in Jasper working on the pipeline job, which meant I would be living in a hotel for months at a time. The company made arrangements for rooms with the Decore Hotels (Maligne Lodge, Tonquin Inn). I ended up in the Tonquin. I have stayed in all 3 room types. 1: staff was very rude and unhelpful to me or if my wife came to visit for a few days. 2: Restaurant service poor and expensive. 3: Room. During my stay I was forced to relocate for the weekend. The room was 100% better. 4: Room size and quality of service was poor. Tiny beds, horrible house keeping, poor room setup i.e. kitchenette cramped, bathroom has tiny vanity, cramped out dated bathroom. 5: Washing machines in poor working order. Do not wash well and the dryers do not function properly either. 6: Pool is small and was always cold! Overall quality of the stay was very poor. Would recommend any other hotel in Jasper. Tonquin is by far the worst for quality, service!”

• It was quiet.
• It was filthy (used dental floss on the floor), small room and expensive.

“The Tonquin was filthy. The room was very small. There was no wireless internet, no clock, and no extras.”

• The breakfast in the adjoining dining room was excellent.
• The rooms and halls were dirty.

“The rooms we and our friends were in were small, not very clean with poor lighting and wore or spotted carpet. There were no luggage racks. We got the feeling that the hotels in Jasper decided to raise their prices together. We would not choose this kind of place if we were to walk in and look at the place before deciding.”

• Close enough to walk to town with beautiful view- convenient to all major attractions.
• It was fine for us--no complaints--
