“The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was kept very clean and nice looking.” May 3, 2009 by
Cheryl from St.Stephen
“We are a tops group from St. Stephen. We had 4 rooms. The rooms were filthy the bar tender in the small lounge was rude and very ignorant. I went in to have a cup of coffee. I was charged and I payed at the bar. I gave him a $50 tip and he turned up his nose at it. I said, take it or I will. He took it and I said, thank you very much, and left. When the rest of our group went down for drinks he would not even wait on them. There was about 6 or 7 of them. I have no idea what his problem was, but the man was about 100 and walked like he had a poker up. Excuse my expression but that is the only way I can explain how he looked. Two of our members are handicapped. One with a walker, and one with an artificial limb. Our group was on the third floor and they had to walk from one end of the Inn to the other to get on and off the elevator.” Jun 4, 2008 by

“The room was awful: wallpaper is peeling, stained carpets, smelly room, holes in the wall, holes in lampshade, dusty lampshades, bathroom from the 70s. Staff and General Manager were rude and disrespectful when we complained about the state of the room and did not try to apologize or provide compensation for the state of the room.” Apr 13, 2007 by
Jacquie from Burton, NB
“Not a very pleasant stay for my husband and I who won this room as a prize! Sounds great to hear you've won a King-sized bed with a Jacuzzi, until you try to take a bath in it! Greasy grime and built-up bacteria filled our tub. I might not have known if I were just taking a bath, but once the water level covered the jets, and the jets were activated, the quick poured out! We re-arranged the couch to find 3 small tomatoes beneath. The bathroom sink counter top was separated from the wall about 3/4 of an inch and appeared to be suspended by the plumbing. When we complained, we were directed to two other rooms in the same "bath tub" condition. When we expressed our concerns again, the woman at the front desk just said that is all we have and walked away into the office. Parking was scarce. Food was average "fast-style". Highway access and mall were assets.” Jul 14, 2006 by

“Hotel ok, says near downtown, yes when going downhill but log way back up if walking. Lots of heavy traffic around the hotel and when I stayed there the car par was used for overnight parking of lorries. food was at best average.” Hotel Representatives:
