• Close to West Edmonton mall.
• No free breakfast, no pool or hot tub.

“The room could have been cleaner, bed was comfortable. No free breakfast, no pool or hot tub. We had been traveling all day and it would have been nice to relax in the pool at the end of a long day.”

“The towels were not replaced, the vacuuming was not done, beds were not remade, and it was an uncomfortable bed that made a sore back of what was suppose to be enjoyable.”

• The maids obeyed the 'do not disturb' sign.
• There was no elevator, workout room or swimming pool. There was extensive construction on the road it was located on.

“The hotel was ok, but not great. We were on the second floor, yet there were no elevators. This made bringing up the luggage difficult, although we managed. There was construction on the street the hotel faced (100th Avenue) and they were tarring the McDonald's parking lot next door. The maid staff respected our privacy and left us notes when the do not disturb sign was up. However, the second day they left the note before 10 am, which I thought was rather early to expect us to have mad a decision to leave the room for the day and let the maid service in. On the second night of our stay, we ate at the Albert's restaurant connected to the hotel. The food came very fast, however, my burger was underdone and there was a bug on the inside of my son's glass. The restaurant was also only open till 7pm. On the positive side, the first person we dealt with was friendly and accommodating, and seemed to have a good knowledge of the area. The hotel was also very close to a grocery store, gas station, liquor store and many nice, family restaurants. I think this is a good hotel for anyone who is passing through or ex.”

• Recently renovated, accommodated my request for 2 double beds.
• I did not see an elevator for 2nd floor service. Room air conditioner is old and musty.

“Location is suitable for business or shopping in west Edmonton. Motel is clean and recently renovated. No restaurant on-site but one nearby. Free parking convenience. I would recommend this hotel for brief visits to west Edmonton where hotels are expensive.”

• The price was great.
• The staff was condescending and rude.

“The hotel was very clean; the beds were comfortable. The staff at the hotel told us that we couldn't have a room with two queens. After a bit of time, they consented to providing us with a room with two beds. They gave us a room with a very loud air conditioning unit, that was so loud, it was difficult to sleep. I also worried that the noise would disturb other patrons of the hotel. I suspect that they were aware of problems with this unit, and that is why they gave it to us. They made me feel like I was a pauper or welfare recipient.”

• The location, the location, the location.
• Noisy A/C prevented a good nights sleep on second night! And I had a long drive the next day!

“I was happy with the room comfort and cleanliness as well as the location for the purpose of my stay. I was not happy with the noise from the A/C in my room as well as a room close by. I had a long journey the next day and the lack of sleep made it harder. The hotel should support the new Rick's Grill right beside it because we had a SUPERB dinner there. Better than the Reb Lobster the night before!”

• Staff was really friendly, the hotel was quiet and conveniently located close to West Edmonton Mall.
• A little wear and tear, bedspread had a small stain on it.

“Good proximity to the West Edmonton Mall is probably the best thing about this hotel; the staff were polite but the building itself was not the cleanest I've seen and it could stand with some updating.”

• It was close to the West Edmonton Mall.
• The walls are paper thin. We were woken up at 3am by kids coming home from a party.

“I would not stay their again. The thin walls made it feel like a no-star. Seriously, even at half price, its too much.”

• The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the bathtub was bigger than usual. I would stay here again.
• I liked everything I don't have any complaints.

“This is definitely a hotel to stay at if you just want a comfortable nights sleep. We don't spend our time in our hotel except for at night. This hotel gave us what we needed. Very close to West Edmonton Mall which is why we chose the location. Very clean and modern hotel. You can tell the hotel been updated. They offer lots of comfortable pillows and very comfortable beds. I guess the name "Comfort Inn" says it all.”

• I liked the daily newspaper and the availability of ice.
• Room cleanliness was not a high priority for this hotel.

“Although, I got my money's worth. The cleaning staffs were rather slack in their efforts to provide clean surroundings. It took three days and two complaints for them to vacuum the floor, which needed cleaning and/or replacement.”

• Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
• Rooms are looking a little tired, and the sofa beds leave much to be desired.

“Overall, the hotel works as a no frills comfortable stay. It is close to many shops and restaurants, and main road arteries. The rooms feel a little tired, but they are relatively clean, and the staff although overwhelmed this particular weekend, were helpful.”

• Easy to get to and close to shopping and restaurants, free parking.
• Quite a distance from downtown sites, and west Edmonton mall. Nor fridge in room and the cable for TV was very basic/no frills.

“Overall the hotel was clean, the staff friendly and during my stay, I had not problem with noise from the other guests - even though I was on the main floor with my balcony/deck fronting the parking lot. A bit pricey for the location but otherwise a good stay overall.”

• The friendly people at the service desk and that the hotel was close to the conference that I was attending.
• The CFR rodeo finals were in town and some of the other guest coming back were not to quiet when they came back late.

• Friendly and helpful staff, neat rooms.

“Good hotel for both business purposes and vacation. Great location.
They have a working lobby (internet service, fax, phone, printer) to enable guests to conduct business. Hotel has exciting ideas for what to do while on vacation.
In summary, my family had a wonderful stay at Comfort Inn Edmonton. Will recommend the hotel to friends.”
