• Was just sold so no longer available.
• Included hot breakfast was lacking.

“Because the hotel had just sold to become a condo project the hotel was at the end of the line on breakfast supplies, etc. Was closing within a week.”

• Room = good size and layout.
• Money stolen by maid.

“Residence Inn in scenic location but a mile or more from town center. Our view was of woods and a dumpster. Room was nice and good layout. Breakfast was poor quality and attendant didn't seem well trained or motivated. We experienced the theft while at breakfast and reported it to management. They interviewed the person who denied it. Her word against ours.”

• The view from the hotel room of the mountains was beautiful.
• It did not have a restaurant on site.

“The staff was very helpful with suggestion of places to eat and places that delivered to the hotel. The view from the hotel of the mountains was beautiful. There was underground parking so you did not have to get out in the weather. I would recommend it to anyone our stay was wonderful.”

• It's not as close to Banff as we expected..

• Away from the hustle and bustle of Can more. Easy to get to from the freeway.
• The room furnishings were nothing to brag about..

• Off the beaten path gorgeous view of mountains short drive to town.
• No restaurant just continental breakfast in the a.m.

“A short 3 minute drive into Can more lots of walking paths. Fairly secluded, not facing any other hotels. Pool and hot tub have nice view of the mountains. Continental breakfast was good with 3 types of cereal, make your own waffles. juice coffee, hash browns, ect. Would recommend hotel.”

“Excellent hotel with spacious room. The only thing I didn't like is that the on-line purchase is final, but you don't know if you've got one bed or two. We needed two, but fortunately the king-size bed was adequate.”

• The location is beautiful. The outdoor hot pool is surrounded by mountain peaks.
• Our room lacked bedding for the sofa bed. It took over 30 minutes for staff to fix the problem.

“This hotel is a mixed bag. The location, up in the hills and surrounded by dramatic peaks, is beautiful, but it is not easy to walk to town. The service was disappointing. We lacked bedding for the fold-out bed and our very tired children had to wait over half an hour for hotel staff to bring us a pile of bedding (they did not make the bed). The outdoor hot pool was a big hit with the kids and the adjoining hot tub was wonderful. The free breakfast was a bit dismal with fake scrambled eggs, watery orange juice and soupy oatmeal. The do-it-yourself waffles were good, though. The experience was good for the price we paid, but would have been unacceptable at the full rate.”

• Spacious room with kitchen, fireplace; wonderful breakfast included in the price; away from the town, yet only 5 min. from the town.
• The hot tub was not working properly.

“The hotel is located on a high hill very close to Cannemore, a short distance from Banff. It is new and has a spacious room with kitchenette and fireplace. The breakfast was fabulous: eggs, sausage, waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, etc. It is only 5 min. from Cannemore and in a quiet locale.”

• Very friendly staff. We arrived early and they accommodated us & gave us an upgraded room.
• There was no on site restaurant. It's too far to walk to downtown Canmore.

“Beautiful, clean hotel & rooms. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet location. The location is a few kilometers away from downtown Canmore. Need a vehicle to get anywhere from the hotel.”

• It was a super bargain. Even the receptionist commented on the unusual rate.
• One of the 2 sets of sliding glass doors leading out to the roof couldn't be locked and the staff couldn't fix it all week.

• The staff was wonderful.......very professional, kind, and courteous.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Kind, courteous staff. Very nice room accommodations. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful and beautiful setting.”

• Staff. Size of room. Comfort. "It felt like home when you are not at home."
• We could spend a month there - it was that nice. The hotel has even stepped up by adding to its landscape with a variety of flowers.

• Large, lovely, well-equipped rooms. Great pool area. Very pretty property.
• Staff was mixed (some good, some very bad).

“Overall a nice hotel. I'd give it my highest recommendation if the staff was better. Also the property is a little far from town and the room we got was VERY FAR from the ONLY hotel entrance (I've never seen such poor access to a particular room). The rooms themselves were very nice.”

“On the outskirts of Canmore, so avoids the busy main road; situated right under the beautiful Three Sisters peaks. The full kitchen, broadband internet access, complimentary breakfast, friendly and accomodating staff, free parking, were all pluses.”

• Cleaning could be a bit better. Staff friendly but very inefficient. Bring your own Ethernet cable.

“Good hotel and facilities. It could be a tad cleaner (I suspect they have trouble getting enough help). Good breakfast buffet. Staff friendly but very slow in getting things done at the front desk.”
