• Good restaurant and nicely landscaped frontage.
• No air conditioning in room or fridge in room.

“Room was located in a separate building, next to main building. Room was clean, basically appointed and fine for a short stay. However, there's no AC in room. If it wasn't for an electric fan, stay would not have been bearable. At check-in time, hotel clerk explained that room is a basic room and offered an upgraded room at higher price. Hotel is located at the far end of town and OK if you are prepared to walk approx. 20 min. to the heart of town. This was not an issue for us, as we had option to walk or drive.”

• It has convenient access to the highway back to jasper.
• The rooms were dark, the bathroom was somewhat dingy and the hallways were bleak.

“While in Banff, I stayed at 2 other lodges. They were both absolutely excellent in every aspect and far exceeded my expectations. It made the inns of Banff pale by comparison. Had I not experienced the other 2 lodges, I might have said it was reasonably adequate.”

• Spacious room with beautiful view of the mountains and downtown Banff.
• Can't think of anything.

“Our suite was very spacious and well laid out. The balcony offered a beautiful view of both the nearby mountains and downtown Banff. Being at the end of the lodging options limited the traffic and great access to the highway 1.”

• We just liked everything about it!
• Maybe needs some painting in the hallways.

“We really liked it! We were upgraded to an even better room when we got there for a very small fee! The pools were great! The staff is excellent! We had so much fun in this hotel and we loved the view!”
