• The location was great, the staff was terrific and ambiance was really nice.
• The furniture was not as upscale as some hotels I've stayed in, but the bed was fabulous!

• The staff in the business centre were loud and they talked the whole time we were using the phone and internet.

• Friendly helpful staff, relatively good location.
• The concierge gave us the wrong train station written info to Krems costing us a 2 hour delay.

“It is our second stay at this Marriott hotel. The executive floor is significantly much better so it's worth the upgrade (65 euro) if luxury comfort is needed.”

• Close to major sights.

“Very clean and comfortable. Nice beds. Great location. Staff friendly and helpful and they speak English. Food in the hotel very expensive Modern. There is a charge for internet access.”

• Room was well decorated and spacious with lots of windows.
• Only option for parking was garage, and it was a little pricey.

• The bed was extremely comfortable.
• The lobby was very smoky.

“The hotel was perfectly located to enjoy the many activities of Vienna. The comfortable bed and exquisite bed linens were helpful in restoring me for another day of sightseeing.”

• Beds were supreme. Room was spacious. Windows could open.
• Pool facility was disappointing. Staff was
  late to clean. Long walk from centre of city.

“Its awkward half moon window design and glass exterior allow it to dominate the 500 year old skyline like a MacDonald's Restaurant does on any other continent than North America. It is located through maize of streets and alleyways from the central shopping area and consequently there is an absence of restaurants and shops close by. The interior lobby has three or four areas including a bar, dining room and lobby. A waterfall flows into the bar area from a rock outcrop. While this might have been a big hit in Maui it serves to remind the traveler how exceptionally American this hotel is by its absence of acknowledgement of local culture.”

• No local charm. Could have been in Dallas Texas rather than Vienna Austria.

• Luxurious linens.
• Nothing that I didn't like.

“Lovely hotel, quiet area, but well situated to tourist sites. Tram stop right outside the door, metro about a 5 minutes walk and shopping area about another 5 minutes walk. Restaurant was too expensive for us to eat in as we could never afford to stay at this hotel.”

• They were not children friendly. They couldn't get in the pool and it took forever to get a high chair at each meal.

• Location is perfect.
• Undergoing some lobby renovations was mildly distracting.

“Step out of this hotel and board No. 1 tram for a Ring Ride and connections everywhere. It's easy to walk to Graben, Kartnerstrasse, Landtmann Cafe, Opera, and just everything. Directly across the street is the Stadt Park for very pleasant walks. I have stayed here several times and would do so again!”

“Our positive experience with this hotel started before we arrived. We were lost and the staff helped us find the place. The hotel was clean and quiet and located in a great spot. I will stay there again.”

“Though a typical American-style Marriott, one could not complain about this Hotel. The room was on the large size, especially for European standards. You could not be in a more convenient location - less than 2 blocks from the UBahn, a 7 minute walk from City Centre, across from a beautiful park. The staff was multi-lingual, sincerely friendly and most helpful.”
