Jonathan from New Caney, TX
“Overall not bad, it met the expectations, however I do not think it is a five-star hotel. It is packed with many tourist. The breakfast is not very good for the price.” Jul 18, 2006 by
Curtis from Carlsbad, CA
“This hotel was an excellent choice for us. the hotel was maintained spotless and the staff was very courteous. the a/c was a welcome relief after staying at several other hotels in Europe that didn't have a/c.” Jul 17, 2006 by
Jose from Panama, WY
“The hotel is across the street from an S-Bahn station, and has nice facilities. The only issue was that during our stay the air conditioning system did not work in the room we stayed at, and there was an overall damp smell to the place.” Jul 5, 2006 by
Robden from Mesa, AZ
“We had trouble sleeping due to the traffic.” Jun 29, 2006 by
Rick from Chicago, IL
“A good imitation of higher end American hotels. The transition from a classic European hotel to some sort of Euro-American combination is obvious. Paying full rate for this hotel would not be worth it. Getting a superb nightly rate will only help the final a little, as add-on charges are rampant.” Jun 21, 2006 by
Ted from Seal Beach, CA
“A rather bland exterior, but inside it is much better. It is a nice hotel, no real complaints, but nothing special either. Staff was helpful. Lots of pillows on the bed and where nice, and the swimming pool was interesting. An almost completely unremarkable hotel, and for the price breakfast and use of the fitness room should have been included.” Jun 7, 2006 by
Gabriel from Long Beach, NY
“Clean, comfortable, professionally run hotel. Just across the street from nearest U-bahn station, but not close enough to the center to walk - especially after a long day of activity.” Jun 4, 2006 by
Jim from Tucson, AZ
“This is a typical Renaissance chain hotel. It is new and nicely appointed. It did lack a coffee maker which is usually in most hotels of this caliber. A lot of bus tour groups stay there. It was a good value, but requires the traveler to be comfortable with public transit.” May 25, 2006 by
Margaret from Bethesda, MD
“The hotel was clean, very well maintained and presented an atmosphere that would be expected in Fanta Fe.” Apr 11, 2006 by
Tinny from Hercules, CA
“Great location, close to the underground and very walk able distance to the Schonbrunn palace.” Jan 5, 2006 by
Ajay from Joliet, IL
“The prices for food and services airport transportation, garage parking are higher than comparable hotel Mercury. I will avoid any hotel whose management thinks that I am there for their leisure not mine.” Nov 18, 2005 by
Beth from Natick, MA
“The hotel was a short walk from the subway, which was very convenient. This made the location desirable because we could get to the center (Karlsplatz) in about 10 minutes. The rooms were clean and the lobby was pretty. The front desk staff was always helpful with questions and suggestions.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Nov 5, 2005 by

“Spacious room, very comfortable bed and nice lobby with good facilities. Easy to get to the subway. However there is no free e-mail service, and there is a charge for the use of sauna (but not indicated in the hotel information booklet).” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Nov 1, 2005 by

“Rooms are pleasant though slightly small and just a little dated. The neighborhood is fine without a lot of traffic noise.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Oct 8, 2005 by
John from Lincoln, RI
“Generally, a well-run, clean and friendly hotel. I would recommend it to others, as I had no major issues with the place. Again, my only real problem was with the health club. They allow smoking in this area, which is an obvious contradiction to the whole health concept. The highly cramped workout room is also jam packed with hopelessly out of date equipment.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Oct 3, 2005 by
Mike A. from Malden, MA
“The Renaissance Wien Hotel is a beautiful hotel located outside the city center of Vienna Wienm, but is conveniently on one of the city's very efficient U-bahn subway lines and is only 4 stops from the city center. It is only one stop away from the fabulous Schonbrunn Palace. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant however was overpriced. I would highly recommend this hotel.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Sep 29, 2005 by

“The Renaissance Wien, a nice hotel located on the edge of a pleasant residential neighborhood, isn't close to the ring in Vienna, but central Vienna is easily accessed by U-bahn. The hotel is just across the street from the U-bahn stop and the ride to the center is less than ten minutes.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 29, 2005 by
David from Jasper, GA
“Exceptionally helpful staff throughout hotel. Checking in and out was a breeze. Close to an underground and bus stop for easy access to the center of Vienna. Not many restaurants nearby but one friendly pub with tasty local cuisine right across the street. We would definitely stay at the Renaissance Wien again.” Jun 22, 2005 by
Ray from Irvine, CA
“This a three star hotel at best both in terms of quality and location. The staff are pretty good but it seemed under staff most of the times. It is popular with big tourist groups and there is not enough staff to support the big groups!Would not go back to it!” Jun 12, 2005 by
Sharon from Ingram, TX
“This hotel was a breath of fresh air after having spent one night previously in another hotel which was recommended to us by the Tourist Information employee. It was very convenient to the metro as well.” May 30, 2005 by
Daryl from Bakersfield, CA
“While located some distance from downtown Vienna, only 10 minute walk to Shonenbrun Palace. Service in restaurant was excellent as was the fare. Houskeeping staff was excellent in their efforts, even providing iron and board within 3 minutes of request at midnight.” Nov 30, 2004 by
Greg B. from Florence “Renaissance Wein Hotel is a standard Marriott Business Hotel located near but not in the historic district. I found the hotel to be well operated, very clean and friendly in every way.” Oct 5, 2004 by
William P. from Alexandria, VA “5-star rating seems very excessive. Nothing special about the room - clean, but nothing special decor-wise. No 5-star amenities such as nightly turn down, bathrobes, etc. We just came from a 5-star Hilton in Budapest - a world of difference between these two hotels.” Oct 2, 2004 by
Sudhakar E. from Farmington Hills, MI “There was only a small bar with sandwiches in the fridge available for dinner.” Hotel Representatives:
