• Ideally located in Condado with large (18ft by 7 ft high) aquarium in lobby.
• Little dust on closet's top shelf. Room door issue. No hair-dryer in rooms.

“Modern art-deco style hotel with Casino, 4 pools, restaurant & bar. Ideally located in Condado (very safe). My son loved the large aquarium in the lobby and the water slide at the children pool. Our room door needed considerable effort to open that bellhop said he'd inform engineer. But it never got fixed.”

• The room with the balcony had a great view of the ocean.
• They didn't have any rooms available until after 4pm.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I was a little doubtful after reading some of the reviews. The hotel gave us a room in the older building across the street, but they put us on the 10th floor with a great view of the ocean to the sides of the other building. The remodeling job in the old building was great. My only complaint was that they didn't have any rooms earlier in the day. I just can't believe they were sold out with economy they way it is now.”

• The stylish bathroom.
• Renovations are needed, the room was not clean, service was poor.

“Ocean view was requested and paid for booked into a "city view" room. The room was tastefully decorated, however not at all clean. Our room overlooked an alley. The grounds were nice. Dining options were pricey for what was served. Service was not good at all rude staff at nearly all encounters.”

• We loved the casino and the pool for the kids. The casino was outstanding.
• Nothing I can say negative about the hotel.

• Pool area and swim up bar, rum drinks.. yummy!
• One room had no TV remote, the other had dead batteries, never replaced.

“We had the best time at this hotel, check in was easy, my kids loved the huge aquarium in the lobby! The rooms were decent (not the Ritz, but comfy for what we paid). Room service and all the restaurants were too expensive, but the food was good, room service was prompt. Concierge was knowledgeable of area and sent us to some fabulous places... I would check with them before leaving the hotel for anything (even coffee)! The pool area and swim up bar were perfect, the game room for kids was perfect (lots of games, clean, working machines), laundry area was convenient and clean.”

“Good location. Lousy parking system. You can never get out of the parking area quickly. You first must get in line at the lobby to have your parking ticket validated.”

• Good location. Lots of dining choices.
• Rooms were a little dated.

“For the price we paid, this was an excellent value. We only spent one night on the way to catch a cruise ship the next day. The hotel location is good, and available services (casino, taxi's, restaurants) were great. I'd stay here again. The room was not very big, and our view was of the roof.”

• The hotel was in a good location and provided good information for out of town guest. Also a great beach location.
• The hotel rooms were not very clean. The bed sheets were not changed daily and the towel were not very clean.

• The location was perfect. Beach, restaurants and casinos.

“From the start, the checking in process was great! They already had me registered. Although, I was checking in early, there was no problem. The staff was really friendly, from check in/check out, information desk to include the staff at the casino. The hotel is in the perfect beach location. With the direction(map) of one of the employees at the hotel, I walked some miles on the strip of the hotel. It was a beautiful area to include a nice park right on the beach. Highly recommend.”

• The ocean view.
• charge for high-speed internet, no vending machines, nothing in the minibar.

“Every member of the staff at the Condado Plaza that I interacted with was well-dressed, knowledgeable, polite and helpful. The lobby has a beautiful aquarium and the view from my 7th floor room was breathtaking. The beach is small but protected from the surf, and the two pools (one salt water) were clean and surrounded by comfy chaises. I would love to go back and spend some laid back hours.”

• This hotel is right on the beach of the Condado Lagoon and offers breathtaking views of the ocean.
• There was not a hairdryer in the room, however they brought one up to us when we requested it.

“The hotel met our expectations and worked out fine for our cruise departure the following day. This hotel had a casino and a live band that made the evening enjoyable as well.”

“Upon check in, they sent us to an occupied room. I called the front desk and was on hold for 5 minutes. They sent someone up with a second set of keys. We proceeded to the second room, opened the door to find a woman in the room. Called the front desk and there was no answer. Went down to the front desk (which was a chore, since only 1 elevator was functioning during our stay)...and we finally got a room. The hotel was very worn and old.....the best view was on the web..I tried to transfer to the El San Juan (another Wyndham property).”

• It was absolutely wonderful, classy and made the beginning of our vacation special. Thank you.
• The only thing was some broken furniture in the room which can easily be fixed.

• The pool area was nice,they hd kids programs during the day.
• The prices for the food and drinks were very high. 12.00 hamburger,8.00 drink

“It was an older hotel,but had been updated not too long ago. The rooms were nice, although the bath was a little small. The location was great if you needed to get the the cruise ships in port.But if you went there to sight see or spend a week there it would not be the place to go.”

• Friendly, helpful, clean, convenient. Room are big. Big Closets.
• I did not find anything negative about this hotel.

“We only stay at this hotel for one night as we were getting on a cruise ship the next day. The walk in closet was very large and served as a changing room as we had 3 women and 1 man. The noon check-out was very convenient for our transfer to the ship. If I were to stay in San Juan for a longer stay I would definitely stay here. Excellent outdoor restaurant (on the water and good prices), nightlife within walking distance.”

• Nice pool areas, with adjacent beach and plentiful chairs.
• In the building we were in, across the street from the main hotel, the bar next to the pool wasn't open.

“The hotel is a relaxing escape from San Juan. I thought the casino on the premises would mean a lot of weird people wandering around, but that wasn't the case. Taxis were easy to get. It was at the very edge of Condado, though, and a 10-15 minute walk to get to the restaurants in Condado.”

“After a 3 hour delay I arrived from New York at 12:30 A.M. I asked the clerk for a nice room and he put me on the club floor with an ocean view and Continental breakfast. Fabulous!”

“Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. However, the hotel was not ready at that time. We didn't get our room until after 5pm. They asked us to call back to check on the status of our room but the hotel staff was so busy with checking in customers that our phone calls were unanswered.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was everything we expected, however I was disappointed on two counts, we had expected there to be family evening entertainment, which there was not......only entertainment being in a bar area, which was not suitable for children. The other point being there were additional charges levied on guests for use of facilities which I found to be annoying, being in an up market hotel one does not expect to have to pay $7 to use the gym and $10 for the use of tennis counts. We actually checked out the Marriott which is situated close to this hotel, and all facilities were complimentary...to hotel guests, as they should be I feel !!!! so in that respect I would not frequent this hotel again.”
