“Beautiful, classy interior, has casino, coffee bar, restaurants, bar and free entertainment. The rooms were roomy with available balconies and had many amenities, and toilettes available. Rooms were nicely decorated. Very courteous staff. Two pools with plenty of lounge chairs and very lush landscaping, has two pool bars, attendants available to dispense tools at poolside. I highly recommend this hotel.” Sep 22, 2009 by
Rick from Fort Lauderdale,FL
“This hotel offers a tropical beach resort and casino in an urban setting. The staff is very helpful in assisting you in getting around, and the hotel is clean and very comfortable.” Aug 30, 2009 by
Martha from Henryville,PA
“The hotel met all my expectations. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Best of all, I had an ocean view. Will recommend to others.” Jun 8, 2009 by
Jessie from Boca Raton,FL
“Great location, right on the beach, nice pool, room was very nice, upscale, going back next month for business and can't go wrong with this hotel.” Apr 28, 2009 by
Larry from Nashville,TN
“We were just looking for a place to stay between planes. We arrived on a Friday night and the band in the lobby where we checked in was so loud the clerk and I had to do hand signs to make each other understood. Several employees said that those with rooms below the fourth floor would hear the band. Rooms had free wireless.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Bob from Cherry Hill,NJ
“Hotel is in a great location and the room was very nice. The layout of the lobby was horrendous. The main walkway from the front of the hotel to the back of the hotel cut through the line waiting to check in. The noise in the lobby was unbearable due to the disco that adjoined the lobby. I thought the hotel offered good value but was not on the level of the other hotels like th El San Juan or the Intercontinental.” Apr 3, 2009 by
from Beaverton,OR
“Enjoyed our 1-night stay post-cruise. Starbucks across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. Casino area can be loud, however no noise heard from our room.” Apr 3, 2009 by
Kelly from Chapel Hill,NC
“The hotel was great I would stay again.” Mar 23, 2009 by
Peter from Ottawa,Canada
“This hotel had an ideal location, the room was comfortable and clean. The lobby was quite loud as there is drinking in it. The pool was not deep. However, it's located on a beautiful beach with strong waves. The staff at the food counter was friendly and helpful. As opposed to the bag handler who took a long time to deliver bags and follow-ups were needed.” Feb 28, 2009 by
Alla from Denver,CO
“Nice hotel. Great location, nice beach. Helpful staff. Buffet at the hotel needs more variety and is very expensive. In room fridge very convenient.” Jan 31, 2009 by
Andrea from Duluth,MN
“The hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was so kind and everyone was incredibly friendly. The beach and pool were gorgeous! The only comment I have is to probably eat outside of the hotel. For example a hamburger at the pool restaurant was $15. There's a great pizza which was inexpensive and best pizza on the island.” Jan 26, 2009 by
Kevin from London,Canada
“We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, especially the pool area. The pool is right next to the sandy beach, so you had the best of two worlds. There is more than one pool, and they were not crowded, even with many families using the pool. The pool bar was fantastic, and the staff was efficient, pleasant and made fantastic, high quality drinks. You could also eat from a limited menu from the bar, and the service was very quick.” Jan 22, 2009 by
Celeste from Jackson Heights,NY
“I recommend this hotel to anybody. We had a great time and the staff was beautiful.” Dec 17, 2008 by
Deena from Goderich,Canada
“Loved the location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful except for the noise. The hotel was not at all full, but they would only change our room for a fee. I didn't feel that was very accommodating. They really need to update the air conditioning units in the front of the building so the guests can use their balconies or open the door if they choose.” Oct 16, 2008 by

“Stayed three nights kids liked it a lot for the pool but the service is not up to the brand they did not clean the room fully for the first day they also charged two items that we did consume thus examine your bill carefully when Sep 7, 2008 by

“Our experience was great from the moment we arrived. From the valet, to check was extremely helpful. I asked for a crib to be brought to the room and they had it there within minutes. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and beach are wonderful. The food at the La Restaurant was a little pricey but was great. I will definitely stay there when I go back.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Shay from Houston, TX
“Loved it, I got the best view! Great location, only needed a cab once! I will always stay here!” Sep 5, 2008 by
Karen from Everett, MA
“Overall I was very satisfied.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Luanne from Dracut, MA
“This resort was perfect for what we wanted while in San Juan. The people were friendly and very helpful about area restaurants. Would stay there again in a second.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Everett from Marietta, GA
“Marriott San Juan by far met my expectations. I walked down the Condado strip and had diner and lunch during my stay. The atmosphere was festive. I also had the Jerk Chicken sandwich in the hotel restaurant. I never heard of jerk sauce and was surprised at how well it brought out the flavor of jerk. I must have saw 4 wedding during my stay. One wedding was performed right at the hotel on the beach. The beach bar was also great. This was a lovely hotel and I don't think I will stay at any other hotel when I go back to San Juan.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Gus from Accokeek, MD
“Good service.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Any from Atlanta, GA
“The hotel itself was nice, however the service was questionable for a Marriott. My fiance and I waited 15 minutes at the pool bar while 3 servers had their backs to us talking and serving one guest. Finally we got their attention to find out, rudely, that they were closing that minute. The other bar had 5 servers standing around playing with a cell phone while we waited another 15 minutes to be served. We also had a mix up at the front desk where we had to return several times they would reissue us a key. Just a few examples to give you an idea. There were plenty more. The hotel is in a nice location, it is clean and on the beach, however the service is less than average.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Jb from Garden City, NY
“The hotel was immaculately clean, truly comfortable, and located in an unbelievably beautiful area. The pools and beach were incredible. However, the most shining aspect of our stay was the amazing staff, which went to great lengths to make us feel welcomed and pampered. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.” Aug 9, 2008 by
Fred from Springfield, OR
“This resort hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach in the Condado section of San Juan. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. It provides two pools (one for children) and Jacuzzi. It is literally on the beach, so you walk right onto the sand from the hotel. The staff was informative and polite. I was, however, disappointed that they did not provide complimentary breakfast. I was told you have to be a member to qualify for it. Considering the price of the hotel, it seemed cheap not to provide a complimentary breakfast, which tainted my overall view and experience.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Jennifer from South Charleston, WV
“Great!” Aug 7, 2008 by
Ted from Woodbridge, ON CA
“Excellent experience, the location is great and the facilities are great. Restaurants in the area were hit and miss, even the list, the hotel gives of recommended restaurants, were not all up to expectations.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Katy from Ashburn, VA
“I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone! My vacation had been horrible up until I arrived at this hotel. This hotel totally made up for all the problems I'd had prior to check in. Not only was it a beautiful room with luxurious bedding and a lovely bathroom, but I had two balconies and a view of the gorgeous ocean! If I ever return to Puerto Rico I will definitely stay at this hotel again!” Jul 30, 2008 by
Sean from Flushing, NY
“We loved San Juan and the Marriott. It's location was great and it was a short cab ride in to Old San Juan. The beach at the Marriott was fantastic. One of the nicest beaches we have been to and we are beach people! Food and drinks are a bit pricey but overall we had a great time!” Jul 27, 2008 by
Keith from Springfield, VA
“Nice hotel in a great location. Easy access to San Juan. Lots to do at the hotel. Would recommend.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Damaris from Dalton, GA
“The hotel is located on the prettiest beach in San Juan. The service was excellent, the staff is very friendly, and everyone went out of their way to ensure we were having a great time. It is located 10 minutes from Old San Juan, the historic district of the capital which allowed us to become more acquainted with the Puerto Rican culture. We had a blast and would stay their again on our next visit.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Marla from Sanford, FL
“Overall, our experience at this hotel was excellent. The location is perfect, we were able to dine in the hotel, walk to restaurants, and take a short cab ride to Old San Juan and enjoy the tourist spots. The room was very clean, the concierge was outstanding. We will definitely make plans again to stay at this hotel again.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Lynne from Monroe Township, NJ
“I thought it was lovely but not as nice as some of the other 4 star resorts.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Dan from Oak Ridge, TN
“The hotel was in a decent location, great view, and clean. Price was more than expected, if you rent a car expect to pay $16 to park at the hotel per day, internet service is $15 a day, movies through the hotel's system cost more than that of a cheap motel/hotel, and they leave a bottle of water and tell you if you drink it you will owe $5.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Michele from College Park, GA
“This hotel was very nice and about 20 minutes from the airport in Coronado. Check in was very easy and the city view room that we had was very well appointed. The beach was well maintained along with the swimming pools.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Ed from Moorpark, CA
“Very clean and staff was very attentive and friendly. Surf on the beach is very hazardous to small children as indicated by a red flag as you exit the hotel to the beach. Food and drinks we had at the hotel was good but very expensive. Hertz rental onsite made everything very easy and staff was excellent. They gave us maps and suggestions that helped a lot.” Jul 9, 2008 by
James from Charlotte, NC
“This experience was not that good. After we checked in the rooms other people were walking into the rooms because of mistakes made by the front desk. One of the parties had just gotten out of the shower and was seen by another guest in there own room. It was a nightmare and I will never take a group to this hotel again. We also where not compensated enough.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jul 7, 2008 by
Stefanie from Sarasota, FL
“Overall, I felt that this hotel was wonderful. It's in close proximity to the airport, the cruise port and old san Juan. It was also within walking distance to shops, restaurants and nightlife. The staff was excellent, very helpful! Their was plenty to do at the hotel with the casino, beach, pool/bar area, inside bar and dance floor. The only downside is some of the food was a little pricey and our room should have been cleaner than it was when we arrived. Overall though, I would definitely come back, our experience was excellent. We can't wait to come back to the Marriott! We will definitely visit the Marriott Stellar is!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 7, 2008 by

“Location was ok. Beach was a beach and that is about all. About 300 yards long. Street on which the hotel as located had adequate eats and supplies; it just was not pretty.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jul 3, 2008 by
Karen from Owensboro, KY
“The customer service is top notch. They'll treat you royally! We were able to check in early (11:30) and we were given the option of upgrading to an ocean view room. Our room actually had a balcony with a city view. The room and bathroom were beautifully furnished with modern yet comfortable decor. The bed was magnificent! The workout room was very nicely equipped, but it's a bit hard to find. The pool was extra special, complete with fountains and water slides.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 30, 2008 by
Linda from Indian River, MI
“This Marriott was very nice, however it was very crowded and there were way too many people for the size of the pool. It had more of a hotel feeling, rather than a resort feeling. We would stay here again simply because of it's location to a variety of restaurants.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 30, 2008 by
Glen from Pueblo, CO
“Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Hotel staff not helpful, no hot tub, pool dirty with a lot of party people drinking, not for kids.” Jun 27, 2008 by
Arelys from Port Saint Lucie, FL
“Beautiful resort, the rooms extremely clean and modern, the beds super comfortable and cozy, but the best is the staff, they will go over their way to make your stay more pleasant. Also if you are looking forward to dance you don't have to go anywhere else this is the place.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 16, 2008 by

“Fantastic experience, would definitely go back.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 16, 2008 by

“Excellent in decor, comfort and amenities. The only draw back was hotel food. However, there are many affordable great local places in walking distance.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 8, 2008 by

“The hotel meets all of my expectations it even gave me an upgrade to the beach side. It was wonderful I really appreciated the hotel and its services.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 8, 2008 by

“Rooms were very nice; pool area was nice but has lots of shade which is good and bad. Beach area was large and nice. Easy to find a chair.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.May 26, 2008 by
Christine from Silver Springs, FL
“Great hotel, beach location was excellent. The room we received look onto the roof and nothing else, so that was discouraging. But we were there for only one night. Excellent service from all employees, they all seemed genuinely happy to serve you.” May 26, 2008 by
Robert from Concord, CA
“Nice stay. There are plenty of good restaurants within a couple blocks and a Walgreens a block away. Room and service was fine. Beach could have been cleaner as there were plenty of bottle caps and other debris in the sand. They did not allow us to check in until 4 pm (not a minute sooner).” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.May 23, 2008 by

“This is a wonderful hotel that just underwent a $46 million renovation and is managed impeccably. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful with great bathrooms and super-comfy beds. The pool area is gorgeous with separate children's pool and 2 bars. The beach is also very nice and is a great place to body surf. The restaurants and coffee shop on the property are all excellent and there are many other dinning options within short walking distance. There is a very good fitness center and one of the best casinos in San Juan. A short walk leads to all the upscale shopping San Juan offers a little slice of 5th Avenue like Gucci, Cartier, etc.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 23, 2008 by

“My husband and I stayed here pre and post cruise. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They had the most beautiful swimming pool I had ever seen. We hope to go back for a longer stay.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
