“The hotel was nice, but they did not have a hot tub, the staff wasn't very friendly. It was far away from everything, and they add an extra service charge at the end for using the toilet and shower.” May 15, 2008 by
Erin from Seatle, WA
“The room, location, and beach were the best! However, we felt the staff was cold and inconsiderate, esp. Because we did not attend a presentation. There was a distant vibe from the staff.” Feb 28, 2008 by
Denny from Shirley, IN
“The hotel is beautiful with many flowers hanging on the outside. We stayed in a single room with a king bed. We loved the room and the bathroom was nice, the bathtub could have used some work. The view on the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. We actually saw whales from our balcony. It was a little cool when we went so we did not swim, but they have a nice pool and beach. This hotel is ten minutes from town and is more secluded, so cab fare is a little more expensive. I would love to stay there again.” Dec 30, 2007 by
Harmeet from Fremont, CA
“Hotel was good, the location was away from downtown , which was nice to enjoy the beach, but limited selection of restaurants. We ended up going to the town frequently for food. Staff at the restaurants was very friendly, front desk staff was not very friendly though. What put me off were the hidden charges revealed during checkout. The hotel added $12 per day Service & resort fee, and additional $100 resort fee per stay.” Dec 14, 2007 by
Chris from Aloha, OR
“Very nice overall, inconvenient to Downtown.” Jul 24, 2007 by
Delio from Valencia, CA
“The place was nice back in the 50's. Today, like old starlets, the hotel is in need of a face lift. The bed and sheets were what you would expect in a Motel 6 and the shower was prefect if you were under 4'11". Had a nice ocean view but could never enjoy it since it overlooked the pool where there were drunks down there until the wee hours. At the pool you had to basically serve yourself since there were 6 servers milling around the bar but not one came to our table to ask if we needed anything.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Ivan from Anaheim, CA
“Presidente Intercontinental went above and beyond my expectations. Would definitely reconsider staying in this hotel in the future.” Jul 6, 2007 by
Mike from Coral Springs, FL
“Slightly remote, but easy access to downtown on city bus (bus is fun for kids, big smiles running to catch it, bumpy ride along winding road). Spacious rooms with no maintenance tile floors. Upper floors have a nice view and gentle sound of surf is excellent to sleep to. Good destination hotel to decompress, away from the club scene.” May 30, 2007 by
Clint from Westminster, CO
“Hotel and rooms were great. View was excellent. Beds were soft. Pillows felt like sand paper. The staff did not speak much English and it very clear that they valued non-Americans much more than American guests.” May 27, 2007 by
Sarah from San Francisco, CA
“The hotel is located on a beautiful white sand beach, and is a short and convenient bus trip to town. I was very much impressed by the quality of the rooms.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 15, 2007 by

“Fabulous! Location, view, beach, pool, service, food - no complaints except they had a sales pitch for points-based time share that wasted over four hours of one day. We were told it would take 60 minutes, and were told it was not a time share. Other than that, we loved the place, and will definitely plan to return in two years. We just won't get pulled into the sales pitch next time.” Apr 24, 2007 by
Lois from Sparks, NV
“The pool and beach were beautiful and the rooms clean with excellent complimentary toiletries. A little too far from town if you were looking to experience Po¿s night life or shopping. The bus though was easy and inexpensive to take into town and back. The pool attendant will write something in the sand to surprise someone for a small tip. I paid 50 pesos.” Mar 11, 2007 by
Benjamin from Yakima, WA
“Excellent and very friendly service. Very clean and a very safe feeling. Food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. It was a great place to unwind and would greatly recommend to others who simply need or want a quiet get away with great service at hand. A bit distant from other hotels and shopping but cab service available and very reasonable.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 19, 2006 by

“I confirmed this upon check in. When we checked out, we were told we had to book between Aprils and may (I think). No where on the site did it say that - only that it wasn't good for 9/13 through 9/17. ” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 15, 2005 by
Steven from San Diego, CA
“The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Though the bed was uncomfortable, our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is only a short drive from downtown Puerto Vallarta. Though we rented a car, many guest relied on regular transportation to downtown shopping, restaurants and local destinations; a car was not necessary. The staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant food was excellent at a reasonable price.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
