• Location and decor.
• Beach.

“Hotel was fantastic in every way except for the beach, but I guess most beaches are not to good in the area.”

• The pool, beach Nikkei bar.
• The breakfast buffet seemed to be out of everything at the same time, all the three days we ate there.

• Swimming pool was probably the best aspect of the hotel.
• They charge for the workout facility. Hotel seemed a little tired. Massive hotel, not very intimate.

“Hotel is a massive complex in an area of PV with other massive hotel complexes. There isn't anything really unique about the place, decent service, and decent amenities. Overall, it's an average place if you're looking for this type of hotel. Tough to call it a 4 star on a 5 star scale.”

• Clean, beautiful, comfortable, friendly, classy place.
• Too expensive! Even the coffee packet in the room was $4! Pool chairs were unavailable by midday, beach seating costs $75 per day.

“This hotel was recommended to us by friends. There were many beautiful features and were charged for every little extra! Meals and drinks were outrageously expensive, pool chairs were impossible to find during the day. We felt they "nicked and dimmed" us at every turn.”

• Ceiling fans, nice beach.
• No free palapas on the beach for customers, everything is too expensive.

“If you're looking for a pretentious, sprawling, money hungry resort this may be the place for you. From the food, to "maid fee", to charging for palapas ($60, yes dollars), I have never seen such overcharging, even in Hawaii. We have stayed in many resort”

• It is a beautiful hotel, the staff is helpful also.
• I liked the hotel but the prices for everthing were high!! Sad they think they can charge anything because people do not come back!

“The hotel is beautiful, but the price for food and extra ammenities is too high!! they charge about 5 dollars for a coke!!7 for water!! so even when it is a very nice place I probably would think twice about returning!! ”

• terreific atmosphere
• room service prices for beer

“westin is a one of the best resorts in puerto vallarta ,is clean ,secured place for the family and has the best relaxing beds in puerto vallarta I visited 3 hotels in town and I tell you the westin was the best.just make sure when you get checkout ,to check yor credit card to be clear of all security deposits from the hotel. the hotel did not credit my credit card until 2 weeks leater but this a very good resort and I will go back next year.”
