• The location was superb.
• The hallways were painted bright purple.

“This hotel is located across from the promenade. You could walk everywhere. The interior of the hotel was awful. Bright purple hallways and worn guest rooms. The weather was rainy so we spent more time in the room than normal. The TV did not work and the reception knew that upon our arrival. They comped our breakfast the day we left.”

• Very well placed, close to luxury shopping, town center and the sea.
• The room was small, very old fashion without renovation for long years and finally very poor view.

• The location and food were wonderful. The room itself was clean but in need of interior design renovation.
• Although it's in a great location, the exterior of the hotel is offsetting. It looks very institutional and the McDonald's makes it looks tacky.

“Overall our stay was very enjoyable at the Le Meriden in Nice. I would say that we were initially concerned when we saw the exterior. Although centrally located, the McDonald's and Casino on the lower level was quite offsetting. That all changed once we were inside. When we arrived we were greeted by the manager and upgraded to a superior room. This was a pleasant surprise after traveling for 12 hours. We ordered room service at 2:00 AM and were pleased with the quality of the food. The Salad Nicosia was some of the best we had. The rooftop restaurant is wonderfully convenient, with great food. The view is fabulous!”

• Location.
• Did not have 24 coffee shop for jet lagers.

“Had to change room due to drilling noise from construction. Still it was very disturbing. They should have sent up complimentary room service to placate us.”
