“This hotel claimed that it did not have my reservation, then it said the reservation was made with booking.com (not priceline.com) and that it was fully booked. They tried to send me to other hotels for double the 99E cost that my booking was for. I finally found an email from priceline.com (not booking.com) telling me to phone the hotel - but of course, I did not check my email until after I got to the hotel. Thus, I was sent wandering around Munich with 80 pounds of luggage looking for a hotel. We all know that hotels always have some sort of room available but this hotel merely sent me out into the street, claiming that it had no responsibility to honor the booking.” Apr 27, 2009 by
Evan from Hermosa Beach,CA
“Hotel was good overall. Good value, great location, good (indoor) pool. Room was well appointed. Bed was awful, very firm. It was quite hard for me to sleep because of the bed. Still, the location is quite good, especially for anyone who wants to use the trains. Marienplatz is a 5 minute walk.” Jan 2, 2009 by
David from Dulles,VA
“Spotless, very nice in-house bar. We arrived and departed Munich via train so the location was especially convenient. Easy walk to Marienplatz, which is a good place to begin a walking tour. Room was smallish but nicely turned out May 11, 2008 by

“My wife and I stayed for our first and last nights in Munich on a two week European vacation. Our luggage didn't make it and the Concierge was extremely helpful and called the airlines repeatedly. They also were able to guide us through the city and give us some excellent suggestions for sightseeing. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. They were also located directly across from the Main Train station which was extremely convenient. Excellent hotel with phenomenal staff. Well done.” Feb 21, 2008 by

“We can't wait to return to the le meridian Munich.” Sep 20, 2007 by

“To its merit, this hotel has a very good restaurant with very friendly staff who remembered my wife and me. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also, I felt I had to hold my breath whenever walking through the clouds of cigarette smoke in the lobby. It was carcinogen central! In fact, Munich is quite filthy with the litter of discarded cigarette butts everywhere! I also disliked the ridiculous fees charged for internet access.” Jun 4, 2007 by

“Good hotel poor location across the street the train station with security problems.” Mar 22, 2007 by

“Nice hotel, in a great city. Hotel staff was very friendly, and were happy to help. Prices for food, and drinks were high.” Aug 24, 2006 by

“Great hotel. It made our trip worthwhile. Best part of the trip.” Dec 29, 2005 by

“A good business class hotel with a central location right near the main train station. In my opinion however, it falls below the luxury category.” Dec 15, 2005 by
Ferdinand from Hamburg, DE
“Quite new luxury hotel opposite the central train station. The hotel is located around a corner, 9 levels going around a very nice and clam inner court. Only a small part of the street level covered by the hotel belongs to it. The rest are dirty awkward shops. Nice spa facilities, but I experienced them too dirty and a little bit worn. ” Dec 14, 2005 by

“This property is a short walk from the main shopping area of Munich but is very convenient to the train station (and to direct rail and bus connections to the airport). The public areas and rooms are very stylish and modern, if you want Olde Worlde charm, this is not the place, but if you want urban elegance you will love it. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center, and spa (Futuresse) in the basement. The pool is lovely, but be forewarned--the sauna is mixed-gender and bathing suits are not worn. The staff was pleasant enough but not overly friendly. I was told that a non-smoking room would be an extra 20 euros per night, which I paid. The bed was rather too firm for my tastes but comfortable. I loved the bath amenities and the separate tub and shower in the spacious bathroom. Breakfast was 20 euros for the buffet in the restaurant, or you could opt for the 7 euro option (coffee or tea and croissant) in the bar. All in all, I liked the hotel and would recommend it.” Nov 2, 2005 by
