“This was a family vacation rather than my typical business trip. Regardless this hotel stands out as one of the most comfortable, friendly and well appointed that I have stayed in. Our room was courtyard facing so we never ever heard any traffic and really never heard sounds from the neighbors. What a treat. The room was very large by UK standards. There were several comfortable chairs and a sofa. Plenty of lights so one could read. The air conditioning came in handy. The Holborn Tube station is just a half block away and makes getting about very easy. The British Museum is within walking distance as is the whole of Covent Garden shopping area. The cost of breakfast is very pricey but if you go for the package it gets more reasonable. There's a Starbucks right across the street and a few other coffee shops even closer. Still an elegant breakfast buffet really started our day off right. ” 4 of 5 people found this review helpful.Oct 6, 2005 by

“This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The marble staircase alone is enough for me to want to go back. The staff was very helpful and friendly. ” 5 of 6 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
