• The location was convenient to the airport.
• The grounds and room were very dirty and outdated. Much of the hotel decor looked like it had been there since the 1970's.

“We were actually very disappointed with the Melia Tamarindos. The rooms looked like they had been renovated more recently than the hotel grounds; however, they were not kept up. I couldn't believe that they even had plastic on the mattresses, like you would see in a hospital. The carpets in the common areas looked like they hadn't been vacuumed. Overall, I had hoped for something a bit nicer and would not stay there again.”
