“Great location - clean and rooms were large.” Nov 9, 2008 by

“Overall, my husband and I were satisfied with the hotel. We wanted to access the computer and the business center was closed at that time. A concierge opened it up only for us during off-business hours without any charge. The room was really clean!” Sep 18, 2008 by

“The Sheraton in Downtown Mexico is not only very high quality, but it doesn't come off pretentious or grossly ritzy. It's relatable, as well as keeping it very classy.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Rebecca from Ann Arbor, MI
“The hotel can accommodate business or leisure guests with ease and comfort. I have stayed in Sheratons before but this appeared to be a much better run and maintained Sheraton than others. A credit to the hotel chain.” Jun 28, 2008 by
Margaret from Long Beach, CA
“Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Several eating styles available. Very fast elevators. Great view from 25th floor. Quiet. Great location for sightseeing. Felt very safe.” Jun 8, 2008 by
Gustavo from Los Angeles, CA
“It was just great. I would totally recommend it.” Jun 1, 2008 by
Maria from West New York, NJ
“The hotel is located within walking distance of El Palacio de Bellas Artes a main theater/attraction. Is in the old part of Mexico, where you can appreciate a lot of the colonial buildings and monuments. It's right in front of the Alameda Park or plaza, where you can enjoy cultural events and crafts shops. Being a non-smoker, I was put off by the smell of cigarettes in the room. I'm not sure if I specifically asked for nonsmoking or not, but I'll be sure to check this next time. There was no pool, and no continental breakfast was included. Overall it was a good value for the money. We will probably stay there again, and I would definitely would like to go back to Mexico City.” May 26, 2008 by
Joan from Medford, MA
“The hotel was in an excellent location. Helpful front desk and concierge.” May 26, 2008 by
Mark from Tampa, FL
“Great hotel in the historic part of town which makes it ideal to explore the old and colonial part of Mexico city's Downtown. Traffic and street closings during demonstrations can be a problem but it is in many parts of the city as well. Would stay here again.” May 25, 2008 by
Mara from Miami, FL
“It's a new hotel built on the place the old Regis hotel was built, it got comfort and good hospitality for tourist, the only thing is that is not secure to be outside the hotel at late ours, but as a place to rest and know the old down town area it's ok.” May 23, 2008 by
Ada from National City, CA
“Great for business travelers.” May 13, 2008 by
P from Orange, CT
“We were welcomed by the staff after we arrived. We had a room on 21 th floor. The view was beautiful. The location was perfect for us - cross street from the park, walk to historical sites and close to shopping and dining places.” May 6, 2008 by
Alvaro from Roswell, GA
“Either you use the costly facilities to fulfill your stay or do your stuff outside. Call in the morning for the daily newspaper, it is free; in minutes you will have a properly uniformed bell boy delivering it. The seclusion ends when you walk outside the hotel, for the novice it may be overwhelming, for the sophisticated; time to get a hotel taxi. For the adventurous the fun begins!” Mar 25, 2008 by
Yoshi from Fairfield, CT
“In general, we have enjoyed the stay. I hope that the internet connection in the room will become available for free of charge.” Mar 21, 2008 by
Kathleen from Greenville, SC
“It was a lovely hotel in a perfect location across from Alameda Park. The rooms were a good size and well appointed. The music that floated through the lobby from the coffee shop was too loud and obnoxious! The front desk staff and the concierge staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I'm sure that it didn't hurt that my fiancé is fluent in Spanish, though. After winning the Sheraton Centro Historica (at a great price) was a little taken aback to read in Fodor's 2008 Mexico edition that there was no elevator (not true) and that the halls were hung with old photos of the area (not true). But minor points, that Fodor's needs to address.” Feb 27, 2008 by
Frank from Austin, TX
“Very good, but I would not used their taxi service.” Mar 25, 2006 by
Walt from Lincoln, NE
