“It was a nice hotel but considering I bid $100 per night, resort fees, and parking, the actual price was closer to $160 per night. This is misleading if they are going to hit you up for so many fees to stay there.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 7, 2005 by

“This is an excellent hotel/resort with a gorgeous private island and convenient activities like rainforest hiking and kayaking.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 12, 2005 by

“The faclity was great. It is located on a cliff overlooking the Caribean Sea. If you want to go to the beach, one gets on a ferry to a beautiful island. Hotel service was outstanding.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 5, 2005 by

“If you are rich you might want to stay here. If not, be prepared to go in debt. The place is very remote and it is like a town unto itself. You can get whatever you want there but it is very expensive. They want you to be a captive vacationer so you'll spend your money there. They don't really want you to have a car to be able to get away to cheaper meals/snacks/etc. They charge $15 a day to park your car. $22 for a buffet breakfast. $11 for breakfast for kids. I'm glad we only stayed for two nights.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 22, 2005 by

“I would not have wanted to pay full price - nice view and some good attributes - but the staff needs a lot of training in how to deal with customers. Moving around the hotel is difficult because of its multiple levels, restricted modes of movement (some areas can only be reached by elevator or the vernicular - and these things were not always fully functional - resulting in a backup and lots of standing around.”
