Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Beautiful common facilities.
  • Expensive everything parking, resort fee, food, drinks, you name it. Nickered and dimmed.

“It was a nice hotel but considering I bid $100 per night, resort fees, and parking, the actual price was closer to $160 per night. This is misleading if they are going to hit you up for so many fees to stay there.”

  • Take you to a beautiful island to hike and enjoy the beach.
  • Charged a surprise extra resort tax, Jacuzzi was dirty and needed painted.

“This hotel recently changed ownership and is no longer a Wyndham property.”

  • Great setting. Great amenities.
  • The resort food is way overpriced. Roads leading to hotel are unmarked.

  • Very well maintained, staff provided excellent service,we had a great time!
  • The restuarants on the grounds were pricey and the food was not that good.

“The faclity was great. It is located on a cliff overlooking the Caribean Sea. If you want to go to the beach, one gets on a ferry to a beautiful island. Hotel service was outstanding.”

Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3
Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[3]

  • The location is spectacular. Great views. Beautiful facility.
  • Too many extra charges.

“If you are rich you might want to stay here. If not, be prepared to go in debt. The place is very remote and it is like a town unto itself. You can get whatever you want there but it is very expensive. They want you to be a captive vacationer so you'll spend your money there. They don't really want you to have a car to be able to get away to cheaper meals/snacks/etc. They charge $15 a day to park your car. $22 for a buffet breakfast. $11 for breakfast for kids. I'm glad we only stayed for two nights.”

Mar 22, 2005 by Rick from Watkinsville, GA
Overall Rating: 6 User Rating Score: 6
Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[3] • Location:[9]

  • The view and the availability of a "complementary" room for a quick shower after checkout.
  • Concierge and desk staff were totally worthless. Restaurants failed to open or be ready to serve at published times

“I would not have wanted to pay full price - nice view and some good attributes - but the staff needs a lot of training in how to deal with customers. Moving around the hotel is difficult because of its multiple levels, restricted modes of movement (some areas can only be reached by elevator or the vernicular - and these things were not always fully functional - resulting in a backup and lots of standing around.”
