Robert from Honolulu, HI
“Vary expensive, hotel breakfast price out of this world, rooms were poorly planned (recently remodeled too), bathroom was so ultra modern, it is hard to use. Room key rarely worked, requiring trips to the front desk for assistance. The Marriott is much better.” Jul 19, 2008 by
Michael from Del Mar, CA
“This hotel could be a great hotel but it presently a 2 star. Although the rooms are new, the construction dust gave my wife severe allergic reactions. We also could not sleep because of the constant noise which lasted through the night. Our windows had to remain open because there was no air conditions. We would not recommend this hotel at this time although this change when the renovations.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Christy from Washington, DC
“This hotel will be quite nice once the renovations are complete. The room we had was great, except that there was no air conditioning. It was pretty hot during our stay, and the fan in the room only helped a bit. I was under the impression that wireless Internet would have been available at no cost, but it was quite expensive. The renovated room was very stylish, but some of the practicalities of the renovations made our stay less than 4-star.” Jul 7, 2007 by
Chung from Chicago, IL
“I like the style but too old.” Nov 8, 2005 by
Emily from Gainesboro, TN
“Unfortunately this hotel was a big disappointment. The furnishings were shabby, the plumbing was not reliable, and the door to the room had to be locked with the key which presented a fire safety issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other nicer hotels in Copenhagen for the same price or cheaper.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Mar 2, 2005 by

“the location was great and the hotel was decent, the beds were clean, but the bathroom was too small to use and it was shabby. not up to par for a supposed 4 star hotel, which is what I was expecting; maybe I would've been more satisfied if it were billed as a 2 or 3 star. its serviceable. not luxurious.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 28, 2005 by

“The hotel is in a good location but it is a bit run down. The room allocated to us was a disgrace for a four star hotel (perhaps because we were prepaid). A hotel would have better accomodation. ” Jan 9, 2005 by
Tony from Naples, FL
“In its day the Palace was probably a grand hotel. While the location is still the best in Copenhagen, the hotel sadly has fallen into a poor state. I would not recommend staying here and it is not a four star hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jan 8, 2005 by

“Very conveniently located Grand Old Hotel, that needs overhauling.” Oct 13, 2004 by
“Old hotel, has seen better times. Grand setting, excellent location, but in dire need of an refurbishment. Some of the bathrooms were a joke for the level and price they say they are. In all fairness, despite the fact that it's quite old, it is kept extremely clean, and staff is helpful. Just once did I encounter an unpleasant experience with a representative of the hotel, and that was via phone, not in person.” Sep 2, 2004 by
George P. from Wichita, KS “The Palace Hotel is in a great location, next to city hall and a block from Tivoli Gardens. Hotel Representatives:
