“Good location and nice atmosphere. Gym facilities were top rate and staff was friendly and helpful.” Sep 8, 2008 by
K from Columbia, MD
“At first, I was not happy with the room that I was given. The room was supposed to have two double beds, but actually had two twin beds. I asked to be moved, and the staff immediately put me in a room with a king sized bed. They were very nice about it. On another note, I'm not really sure why this hotel was considered 5-star. I've stayed in hotels that were 4-star, and they were much nicer and less expensive.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Susan from Greenville, SC
“Loved it. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.” Aug 21, 2008 by

“A very nice location, castle view with easy driving and parking. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Srinivasa from Cupertino, CA
“Hotel is about ten minutes walk from the Royal mile. Good number of restaurants and grocery stores around the hotel. Room was not what I would expect for a five star hotel. Staff took a long time to answer calls to the front desk.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Peter from Willow Springs, IL
“You expect higher standards from a five star location. The neighborhood has some very suspect neighbors. Bottoms up show bar, a sauna that offers Thai massage. You also expect free amenities, like WiFi, business center, or breakfast. Nothing free offered here.” Jun 29, 2008 by
Art from Richland, WA
“Great location and excellent restaurants on site. Close to Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. Friendly staff and helpful concierge. Great value.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Bob from Toms River, NJ
“Great location and amenities but not wild about the two single beds that I was given. Beds were not too comfortable as well.” May 12, 2008 by
John from Three Rivers, MI
“The Sheraton Grand has an excellent location to sightsee in the city center. It has an easy elegance, not too stuffy, with a very friendly and helpful staff - right down to how to play the par five holes on the golf course they arranged for us!” May 6, 2008 by
Ace from San Diego, CA
“The rooms and general state of the hotel is by no means what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, more like 4 stars. The spa makes up for it, although you have to pay extra to access most of the facilities. There was no free internet access which is not acceptable in 2008 from a 5 star hotel.” Mar 30, 2008 by
Theresia from Honolulu, HI
“Great.” Sep 23, 2005 by

“This is an excellent spa and hotel. Truly 5 star in everything from location, staff, restaurants to rooms. We would definitely stay here again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 23, 2005 by

“Great location, but small shabby rooms. Bellman double as concierge, so only available when not lugging luggage...but they did seem knowledgeable. Turndown service only on request. Somewhat of a stretch to call this a 4-star hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 9, 2004 by
David P. from Petoskey “Very luxurious and sumptuous room/bath at this hotel. Great helpful staff, excellent location, superb food.” Hotel Representatives:
