• Always reliable - you know what you will get
• Bed settee was not particularly comfortable

• Clean and comfortable with all the basics. Sofa bed already made up for the children.

“All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A really good atmosphere. They suggested a nearby pub, The Kings Arms,to visit for tea and, even though they weren't serving food that night (Easter Sunday) they still put together a good meal just for us. Beer was excellent, a beautiful cat and friendly to the children. We did not eat at the services which are quite small so cannot comment on the food there. We would certainly visit this hotel again.”

• The room was nicelt decorated, simple but homely.

“Images of the rooms would have been good.It was good that up to 4 adults could stay in the same room, very good value for money as there was 4 of us so we only had to pay a very small amount each, much cheaper than all the other hotels we looked at. very straightforward to book although I don't think the hotel had a website of its own which would be handy.”

• QualitT du petit dejeunT discutable Menage un peu leger...

“Suprise de se rendre compte que l'hotel est situT sur une aire de repos d'autoroute ( les joies des resa sur le net ... ) Mes amis n'ont pas fini de se moquer de moi !! Ca nous aura bien fait rire !!
Cependant l'isolation phonique est tres bonne et du coup les grandes villes sont rapidement accessible.
Mais c'est vrai que pour le romantisme... faudra repasser !!!”

• Privacy and quietness of room. Frienly greeting at check in
• Room not serviced on Sat although we had vacated by 9-30 a.m. Disapointed on return Sat evening no tea or coffee dirty bins

“In general all advance information on the web site was good.We enjoyed our stay as the room and service provided all that we had expected from the information.”

• clean, comfortable main bed, convenient location
• not particularly comfortable bed settee. Had to make the bed (settee) yourself

“have stayed at Travelodge before. Found the accommodation and service better at this chain. Would not stay at the chain again because of the bed settee (if sharing a room)”

“1)No info on towels in the screen info I contacted you.2)In my room (112?)both windows would'nt open & towel heater did'nt work. Sorry I forgot to report it.These are 2 minor things,but I look forward to another stay.The cold Buffet Breakfast was good value but hot food would be nice.”

• The room was comfortable and spacious, facilities in good working order, and a good selection of channels available on the TV.
• The range of eating facilities in the vacinity was rather poor. Unless you like fast food.

“A perfectly comfortable hotel with good in-room facilities, I would be more than happy to stay here again.Though I may bring food with me next time.”

• close to business site and airport. Friendly staff.

“Was travelling by taxi. Taxis did not seem keen to pick up there and local taxis were very expensive, apart from those to and from the airport.
If I had known this I would hired a car at the airport.

The variety of food outlets at the service station was not particularly good. There is only one option that is not a fast food outlet, when I was there, it looked as if they had run out of food and the service was slow and seemed to be badly organised.”

• I was expecting a small box sized room with minimal facilities so was pleasantly suprised to find a clean, well equipped facility with a good en-suite bathroom.

“I have never booked on-line before so wondered how well it going to work. It has worked well with my only mistake being to not not check the no smoking. I was also expecting the hotel to be noisy from road traffic but this was not the case. I am impressed.”

“I had a nightmare booking the accomodation - the on-line booking form didn't ask about children and even though I put my 11 year old son in the other information slot the hotel had not prepared the room for him and I ended up making the extra bed when we arrived. I mentioned it to the receptionists, who were wonderful by the way, and it took them some time to find the mention of the extra body. That definitely needs sorting. On the other hand everything else was great and, as I said, the staff were lovely.”

“As a disabled person I found the Days Inn more than able to accommodate my wheelchair and me. The staff was very friendly, efficient and eager to help. We cannot praise Days Inn high enough and will recommend the hotels to all our friends.”

• Room spacious, and kept clean daily. Breakfast selection excellent (for a continental buffet-style).
• Bath too small, not cleaned properly & constantly leaking cold water. Bed too soft (old & uneven).

“Bed & breakfast option package uneconomical (cheaper to buy brekfast separately). Regularly cleaned & re-stocked room, but be careful not to leave clothes on the bed (or they might get taken with the linen, as we discovered to our cost). Beds too well used to get very confortable, and liable to set-off allergy sufferers. Outside area of Hotel surprisingly attractive, with an aviary & mature gardens, cutting out road noise of M5 well. Over-all a comfortable & pleasant stay in reasonable & relaxed surroundings.”

• No bar facilities or room service.

“Information provided on the internet prior to my stay gave me a comprehensive and accurate overview.I was not disappointed and will use the accommodation again.

• Friendly and co-operative staff. Convenient to eating places and the local area interests.
• Cramped and risky car park. Poor overnight security for cars. No air-conditioning.

“Handy for an overnight stay. Upper floor rooms can be hot in sunny weather. Possibly ok in cool weather. Perhaps the rooms on the lower floor are cooler. Traffic noise from the motorway and the service area would make it difficult to sleep with the windows open.”
