• Friendly staff, great service, great swimming pool, and good location.

“We stayed at Hilton for 6 days, and had great experience there. The concierge is very helpful. The beach is rocky, but the pool is great. We ate two breakfast in the hotel, a little pricey, but has lots of variety, and most importantly – clean.”

• Great location, great pool area, wonderful beach and 5 star hotel amenities.
• Got greedy and started charging for parking, even self park. Have your 9$ and loose a customer. Penny wise and pound foolish!

“Wonderful beach, great and very large pool area. Our kids love the multiple interconnected pools and the great beach, which keeps us coming back to this Hilton over and over again when we are in Cancun. One of the better 5* resorts we have stayed at on the Cancun hotel strip.”

• The pool. All the rooms had ocean view.
• We were happy with everything.

“The rooms are very comfortable. The pool was awesome; they weren't too many people so it was very nice to not have to worry about getting lounge chairs by the pool or the beach. The safe in our room did not work, they tried to fix it, couldn't and said they'd be back, never got around to it, but the staff was very friendly and polite.”

• I liked the infinity pool and the size of the pool.
• The hotel has no free internet. It costs $5/10 minutes!

• Staff was excellent. Well maintained room and common grounds. Beds were very comfortable.
• Hallways were noisy so rooms were not quiet. Pool was heated and sometimes not refreshing.

“Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was well maintained, both the common grounds and the rooms. The pool area was nice, not over crowded, with comfortable chairs and plenty of area of shade if needed. The wait service around the pool could have been better. I tipped well from day one and expect a friendlier and more attentive wait staff. I don't mind paying $4.50 for a beer, but $3.50 for a cup of soda is ridiculous. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.”

• This Hotel was amazing, perfect location, very clean, staff was went above and beyond!
• Housekeeping didn't get to the room until late afternoon, ran into them while trying to get ready for dinner.

“Great service, Great value, Beautiful Beaches. I can't say enough about the hotel staff, they were polite and very helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant was great. I figured I would have gotten a small room without a view. the opposite happened, I was put in a huge room with an Oceanside view. Gorgeous!”

• Resort pools are really great.
• Location isn't walking distance to restaurants/bars.

“Hilton Cancun is a great resort. People are nice. Very convenient and similar price to outside rentals. All the room seems to have water views, but upgrade got use a balcony which is really nice. They have about 10 pools that cascade down to the beach, which is a bit narrow but nice sand. Only had buffet breakfast at the hotel - it was a bit better than average for a 5 star resort. Location is ok with a car or if you play golf - no where else in Cancun has a golf course and the beach right there. The grounds in general are nice. Seems to have a good spa, but we didn't have time to try it.”

• Friendly staff, beautiful grounds and pool, nice golf course, comfortable bed, clean and cheerful room.
• The food was not predictable and overpriced, food and drinks in general were too expensive.

“This is a really nice resort in a beautiful location. The common areas are quite lovely and spotlessly clean. The room was cheerful and had all the amenities I expected. The room was also spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly, and helpful. My only criticism is that the hotel is pretty far away from any commercial areas, so it isn't convenient to eat away from the hotel. That being said, the Hilton's food was unpredictable, and the prices for food and drink were inflated.”

• There should be a separate entrance to the pool besides through the lobby.

“A beautiful hotel with views of the blue Caribbean ocean. The facilities are amazing with it's own golf course, but it's certainly not walking distance to the "action" of the hotel zone and is a good 30-40 minutes from the downtown area. The staff do whatever they can to accommodate you though and that makes a big difference.”

• The view of the ocean and the pools.
• No washing machine to dry before you leaves.

“Great place. Would love to visit again soon. Highly recommend. Only issue was that they don't have a drier or washing machine for public use, so can't dry your clothes right before you leave. But super small inconvenience for the all the benefits.”

• Ocean view from the room which is breathtaking.
• Hotel staff wasnt that friendly; disappointed with the public Jacuzzi.

“Overall we're quite satisfied with this hotel; the ocean view from the room is very beautiful and we were thrilled. Although the hotel staff was helpful overall, we did not feel much warmth or much friendliness from them; the staff who called us on the check out day for our opinions on the hotel was kind of rude to us when we told her we were not 100% satisfied with the hotel service. Also, this hotel charges for coffee in the room, making guests feel not welcomed. We have stayed at many other hotels before and never encountered a hotel where we need to pay for the coffee in the room. It's not about the petty money, but the warmth hotels show to its guests.”

• Its at the far end of the tourist zone, away from everything.

“I was looking to just spend some time on the beach and by the pool and they where both great. Yeah will need transportation to get to just about everything else in Cancun, which was ok. The staff was nice, and the facility was clean and up to date, but nothing out of the ordinary.”

• Every room has an amazing view of the ocean and the pools are fabulous!
• In my room it always sounded like people were moving furniture around constantly almost like they were redecorating.

“The staff was friendly and attentive and the hotel was very spacious so there was always a nice cozy place to lounge outside the room and still be away from other people. The pools and pool area was well kept which was excellent since the ocean was a bit to choppy to get in and enjoy.”

• The layout of the rooms allows for a fantastic view of the ocean.
• Desk clerk gave us a hard time about storing luggage for one day even if we were booked for the following night.

• The service awesome!
• You cannot swim at the beach.

“I chose this resort to celebrate a birthday and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly, attentive, the golf course was in excellent condition and the spa was to die for. I went back to have several treatments during my 8 day stay. I dined at every restaurant on the premises was not disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I met many wonderful people during my patronage including the owner.”

• The entire resort property was well maintained and very attractive.
• We were initially given a room that was being used as a storeroom.

“The Hilton Cancun is an excellent resort with beautiful public spaces, nicely appointed rooms, and quality restaurants. The golf course is challenging and well groomed. The staff was attentive, and everyone I ran into was very friendly (staff and guest). This was a very good experience for a tourist resort.”

“After a recent trip to CANCUN, My wife and I stayed at a few different resorts. The Hilton is Terrific. The airline lost my bags, so when I called downstairs to tell them they told me they would have a new beach wardrobe available for me in the morning. They hand picked it out for me in my size and devlivered to my room the next morning at 8am. The Food is GREAT! The staff Treats you with the greatest respect. The drinks are about 10$/piece on par with all the other resorts on the island. The Pools are awesome, the beach view is the best in Cancun. All rooms have ocean view. Plenty of activities during the day. Pool/Beach volleyball, Aerobics, table tennis, Diving center.”

• Everything very clean, efficient, and modern.
• Coffeemaker - but no coffee cups! Or coffee, even for purchase in mini bar.

“The Hilton Cancun is Hilton quality, to the extent possible in Mexico. The linens were superb and the bed was very, very comfortable. The rooms apparently all have small oceanfront balconies which was a fantastic perk. The pool facilities are first-rate, although the beach is somewhat disappointing. That's not the fault of the Hilton, though; it was mostly the rocks (typical of the area) and the huge waves making swimming not recommended. The Hilton is large, clean, and impersonal. We stayed most of our vacation at a smaller, more Mexican-feeling resort, which we prefer, but the Hilton was a beautiful way to spend our last night. No complaints at all, except the small quibble that although there was an in-room coffeemaker, there was no coffee (complimentary or for purchase in the mini bar) or coffee mugs (as we realized after we brewed some of our own coffee).”

• Great facilities and super friendly staff. Ideal location if you are looking for relaxation.
• If you want to party with the spring breakers -- this is not your place as it is a good few miles from the party center.

“If you are after relaxation or family time, this is a great hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff combined with great facilities. Huge pool area and location by the beach was great. The hotel spa was superb and reasonable priced.”

“Overall the hotel is very good. It's clean and in most rooms you get a spectacular view of the beautiful Cancun beach. Staff is quite friendly. The hotel is a little far from the main party scene and from downtown Cancun. But if that's what you want then perfect. Furthermore Cancun¿s great public transportation system makes getting around very easy no matter where you are. The other thing is that to me it seems to have lacked a bit more spunk in terms of ambiance. Had a lot of great facilities but they were not all being used to their potential. So to summarize, the hotel was really good but not great. Was however worth the price I paid. Think it would be overpriced for its retail price though. I also think that its food prices are not justified by the food quality.”

“The Cancun Hilton is a beautiful hotel. Massive grounds, swimming pools everywhere, and the staff are wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You didn't want to leave¿s told them I would be back! I wish that they had more TV channels including cbs from the us. Great location on the beach, every facility you could want, I want to go back! Hilton diamonds are treated very well.”

• It was very clean and the pools were magnificent.
• Service in the restaurants was bad at times.

“This is an amazing hotel that is very clean and luxurious. The food is good at all restaurants, but the service may be lacking what one would expect from a restaurant. The pools are absolutely brilliant! The entire pool area is massive and never crowded. There are plenty of umbrellas around to give you shade if you want it. The beach has these nice umbrellas as well and is gorgeous.”

• Large beachfront, big pool, many pool chairs, tasty food.
• Sofa in room was gross.

“The hotel was fine, but there are better quality resort hotels nearby for the same price. The rooms were clean but need upgrades. Sofa in room had stains and appeared filthy. For the most part this hotel is nice, but the room should be nicer for me to pay "resort" money.”
