• Snob Concierge, trying to push bad deals that do not fit your needs, avoid him, go to the front desk

• Very friendly staff which gave us a excellent room.
• Breakfast is extremely expensive.

• There is not any extra charge for having an animal.
• You can only exchange $100 USD per day per room.

“We enjoyed our stay enough the first time that we used Priceline again, in hope of getting the same hotel for the same discounted price and we did!”

  nice surrounding.
• AC was not good in room, would not cool enough and too much light gets in the room with the blinds closed.

• Staff was amazing. Hotel was spotless and beautiful.

“I've used Priceline religiously for years and have always been satisfied with the results. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was a great location, the lobby and rooms were beautiful, the staff was very attentive. I would highly recommend the hotel.”

• Excellent location, large comfortable rooms
  and
  very friendly staff.
• Computer usage in the hotel business center was expensive but there is a very reasonable internet cafe very close.

• Helpful concierge; good location.
• Expected more amenities for a 5 star hotel.

“The hotel was well located for tourists and business travelers. The room was comfortable and clean and the furnishings were in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable. With that said, there was nothing particularly luxurious about the hotel. It was pretty standard Marriott. There were no bathrobes, no newspaper delivered, no in-room coffee or other amenities that would raise it to 5 stars.”

• Perfect location.

“The location of the hotel was perfect. Short distances to the Brandenburg Door and the Reichstag of Germany. The price for the hotel owns parking places and the breakfast was expensive. But you can have breakfast in the Sony center near by the hotel (200 meters). Here is a restaurant with name ALEX.”

• Room interiors are still in the old/traditional Marriott look.

• The close proximity to a train station and parts of the Berlin Wall.
• The price to use the internet bordered on extortion.

“The hotel is located centrally to all the major destinations and next door to the Ritz Carlton. The fragrant smell prevailing in the hotel was most enjoyable.”

• The hotel bar wasn't all that great.

“Excellent location! The workout area and pool are a great way to unwind after a long day of work/sightseeing before preparing for dinner and heading out for the night. The staff is very helpful.”

• The bed was fabulous.
• Internet was somewhat expensive to use.

“The Berlin Marriott is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location just up the street from Potsdam plats and the u and s bah. Our room had a great view of the square. The bed and linens made for one of the most comfortable hotel stays Ive ever had. And the state of the art TV system was a nice bonus. I definitely will return to the Berlin Marriott!”

• Perfect location, air conditioned, quiet, nice room.
• The cheapest breakfast was expensive for what it was.

“This hotel is located between the Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust memorial and Postdamer Platz. An S-Bahn station is located about one-half block away. The location could hardly be better for a visit to Berlin Mitte. The rooms are very nice and quiet and the staff courteous and friendly.”

• Room comfort and location.

“We originally were scheduled at another hotel but changed due to location. We are so glad we did. I can not imagine a better hotel for our vacation. The executive lounge really made the stay excellent. I would recommend taking advantage of that perk if possible. The beds and linens were excellent.”

• Huge rooms and
  great location.

“Just like a Marriott in the USA! Very new hotel with large rooms, walking distance to Brandenburg Gate & multiple restaurants. We had breakfast included, which was a huge buffet served until 11AM on weekdays. Concierge was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Bathroom had lots of hair on the floor; too pushy for purchase of minibar items.

• You have it underrated as a 3 star. It seems to be a 5 star.
• Former East Berlin location is rather dead.

“This was a brand new upscale hotel with a stunning lobby and attractive comfortable rooms. The staff were welcoming and eager although sometimes appeared inexperienced.The only drawback was the location which was mainly an area of new office buildings without much big city excitement. It required a bus or subway ride to do most things.All in all the tradeoff of location for such an upscale hotel at a low price was acceptable.”

“Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel has a modern feel to it. Room was spacious and lovely. Very conveniently located to public transport, sights and evening entertainment. Definitely more a 4 star than a 3 star. Would definitely stay again.”
